    As soon as Orsa took over CFCU the service quality went to sh!t. And it's not the employees fault…read morebecause, there are no employees anymore. It's much more profitable to lose half the staff and shove the extra work load onto the remaining employees. Expect to wait an extra 15 to 20 minutes for service on top of what you would normally wait. I waited 35 minutes in the drive thru line with only one car in front of me. Wasn't that cars fault, there was simply no one tending the drive thru. The woman behind me backed out and left. This isn't the only time I've had to wait an unreasonable amount of time since Orsa took over. It's simply the straw.

Perhaps this explains why 'orsa' does not have competitive rates? Because they are spending money on sponsorships and such? Not to mention all of the new colors and logos and signs? Unacceptable. The name change came as quite a shock - there is no reason why members were not forewarned. And when I clicked on the link online providing information as to 'why' the name was changed, it only confused me. Now if CFCU had simply stated that their name was too commonplace, my family could have mostly gotten on board with the renaming... but instead they concocted a story about our community's connection to Daisy [the air rifle company once in Plymouth] and a bear...? It is a bizarre rationale. I really liked our former name 'Community Financial Credit Union.' My kids opened their little savings accounts at a Plymouth elementary school with CFCU; my husband and I opened our first joint account with CFCU and have been members over 30 years. I think the word 'Community' was crucial, and I do wish they had at least maintained that word in the title. Anyway, the renaming seemed like poor timing given governmental and stockmarket instability - it was also bad timing as we were in the middle of dangerously cold temperatures, yet 'orsa' had guys outside changing their signs. I felt so badly for them. Further disappointed that when I called to give feedback to the president/head, I was funneled to a customer service representative. There was no mechanism for me to give feedback to the president or board. So I spoke with a customer service rep who seemed understanding and listened to my complaints, reassuring me that someone would contact me and that my feedback would be heard... and of course nobody called me back or emailed me. Personally, I work in an institution where, if a client wants to speak to the Director... we transfer them to the Director's secretary who passes the message on to the Director; there are no layers of people to wade through to reach the top. Apparently that is not the case at 'orsa.' We had generally been happy with our customer service at CFCU, which is why I gave two stars instead of one. I do hope that 'orsa' will make better choices moving forward - we are one step away from switching to another credit union after this renaming stunt and the unnecessary expenditure of money.

    I had a horrible experience at the location on Wayne rd, 6870 in Westland. Been going there for…read moreyears only because it's convenient. Well never again, had enough. They are extremely slow, there's 1 employee there that's rude, extremely slow in the drive thru and doesn't care what or how she speaks to you. She's been kinda rude before but I overlooked it as maybe she's had a bad day, even though it was 10am. I am disabled physically, can't walk and barely can use my arms. Waited in the drive thru to be told i must come in because I have a direct----- card. The money is on it, you must sign a receipt that can be sent through the drive thru. There were cars in the next lane that constantly come and go, me I'm just sitting there. Anyway Im in pain barely can walk, the 1 person that was in there and the MANAGER n this employee are starring at me struggling. I should have let someone else wait on me, but I couldn't walk there. She was so rude, answering me with an attitude. Then giving me my money with no envelope. What bank does that, she counted the money to herself and not out loud like I've experienced from ALL BANKS N ALL TELLERS. I said what, no envelope, she said we don't give envelopes, come on now!!!!!!!. I said and not to nicely, this has been the worse bank experience I've ever had and I'm over 60 years old. She then said you don't ever have to come here again then, excuse me you just work here!!!!. All while the manager just stood there. So I slowly made my exit, with a few words. Then I get a voicemail from the bank. I called them, of course the disrespectful woman answered the phone, nastily said the manager called me. She put me on hold and he or she never came back to the phone, I waited awhile then hung up. There's no way he was that busy, I've went to that bank on many different days and times, no one seems to go there. This incident was on the 3rd, a very busy bank day and there was 1 person in the whole bank and when i left no 1 in the drive thru. I see what's going on here and will never return!!!!!!!!!!

    Update from last review…read more Over the last few months looks like they have all new staff, at least the ones I have seen. Wait time at drive-up window has deteriorated to a point that makes a person think,,, "What are they doing in there?" and "What is taking them so lon?" Twice they have returned my cash out of denomination order with some bills facing forward and other backwards and upside down.
