The two stars are for the employees--they were super nice and helpful--and the interior, which is absolutely adorable. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The bagels are $2.50 each, and when I ordered a half dozen, the total was $14.95--I nearly fell over! For that price, I expected authentic, high-quality bagels, but they honestly aren't even that good. Coming from a Northeast girl who grew up on Jersey/NYC bagels, I can say these miss the mark. The dough may come from NY, but the texture is off. Bagels should have a thick skin, be heavy and dense yet moist. These were light, airy, and lacked flavor or substance. Judging by the bottoms, they weren't cooked correctly. I toasted one for my husband, and he asked if I bought it at Walmart--that's how they tasted. I'm so disappointed because we've always wanted a great bagel shop in town, but this isn't it. I'd suggest they revisit the recipe and cooking method because, honestly, these aren't even as good as Einstein's and it pains me to say that!

CLASSIC CLUB SANDWICH ON A BAGEL

Cute small town modern deli with many options for Everything Bagels. Owner was very and friendly providing us with quick service. If you are a New Yorker like me always craving a bacon, egg, and cheese, this is the go to place in Destin.

    Terrible bagel

I didn't even finish it, taste and looks more like rip off Starbucks bagel, very miss leading with the "New York" style. It's a frozen sausage and frozen egg, and the bagel is that chewy cheap stuff mannnnnnnnn this hit a nerve I'm sorry:( oh and the lady at the register rude. but the Italian joint next door is gas

Food was delicious, welcoming staff. Clean and inviting place. Good stop before our trip to the water park. I had the quiche, absolutely delicious. Wife and kids had bagel sandwiches that they really enjoyed. Coming from the northeast, this place was a pleasant surprise.

I saw a new bagel place opened up in Destin. As a New York local & bagel lover I knew I had to try it out! I love the location of the spot. It wasn't too busy when I came around 8:30am. The woman at the counter was extremely friendly and welcoming! I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese. It came out quick and was quite tasty! It was a bit pricey but I do love bagels so I think I will come back to try out a few of their other menu items. Give this place a shot & stop in!

Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on Jalapeño Cheddar

We've been waiting for a bagel place in town for years and Everything Bagels delivered! The interior is very cute and modern and the bagel selection is great (Asiago, Rye, Cinnamon Raisin, Blueberry, Rainbow, Sesame, Onion, Everything, Jalapeño Cheddar, and I'm sure a couple I'm forgetting)! My specialty bagel is a BLT, minus the mayo, plus veggie cream cheese on Asiago and it was tasty and satisfied my bagel craving! My husband got the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on Jalapeño and we both really enjoyed the bagel and its flavor. We'll certainly be back to try the rest of the menu and to pick up some bagel packs the next time we have company in town! Great job to the friendly staff as well - excited to have y'all open!

SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW - CRAZY BAGEL
    Sara M.

My husband and I each had a Classic Club bagel and split the Somewhere Over the Rainbow bagel! Everything was amazing. The bagels were cooked perfectly (chewy on the inside and toasted on the outside)! The cream cheese options had such good flavor and the woman helping us let us taste the different cream cheese options. She was super helpful and very friendly. Loved the atmosphere! It was a great start to our day. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Went in early for lunch and grabbed a pastrami on Rye. It was a great sandwich and this is not the first time I've been there and as always greeted by a friendly staff. Before I left I grabbed some hummus to go and some bagel chips. Loved them as well. Will be back for sure.

Saturday morning visit. Friendly staff. Home made cream cheese schmears. Sesame bagel was nutty, Asiago bagel just right. We enjoyed.

Took SO long and I was the first in line. It tasted so bad. Genuinely tasted like it had sat out for days and was barely warm.

Weekends seem to be busy, so be prepared to wait a little. You can call ahead and get on their waiting list, they don't take reservations. Our servers were wonderful both times. First time we went I ordered the Maque Choux Benedict. The base was beautiful Golden brown Green Tomatoes instead of English muffin, delicious Crab cakes on top of that, topped off with poached eggs, scratch made maque choux, Creole Hollandaise, Andouille sausage, green onions and dusted with paprika. My sister got the Crawfish Egg-toufee. It also had the fried green tomatoes as the base, topped with Bacon, poached eggs, Creole Hollandaise, Crawfish and green onion. Both dishes were delicious. The Maque Choux Benedict was so good I devoured the entire dish. It's a really filling dish so it was perfect before the hike my sister and I went on. Second time around I ended up getting the Lobster gouda grits and my sister got Avocado toast with Lobster. The grits was delicious, just the right amount of spice and creamy. It's a must try. My sister enjoyed her dish as well. All in all we had a great experience and will definitely return on our next visit.

Considered the crab croissant, but the pics on here didn't look so good and the croissant didn't look golden brown or flaky, like I tend to favor. We ordered the spicy carb scramble, cup of coconut grits, iced coffee, less whipped cream, jerk chicken basket, island burger and Blue Mahoe beer. $51.71 for everything except the island burger and the Blue Mahoe beer. The iced coffee comes topped with whipped cream, it's mixed with chocolate. It's obviously very chocolatey as a result of the added chocolate. The Blue Mahoe beer is made with mango, it's different for sure. The base of the beer tastes like a Blue Moon, maybe. Shows mango cart on the cocktail menu, no idea what a mango cart means though. Service was good, although our waitress seemed like she might be new since she didn't know the specifics of the menu items. Not sure why I was thinking the jerk chicken would not be on the bone, so that made it a bit messier than planned. The island burger is spicy, my FIL enjoyed it. The spicy crab scramble was good. Could have better jam to go with the toast, the grape jelly didn't look anything like a jelly and was quite runny for my toast at least. The mixed berry was a bit thicker for spreading. The coconut grit was quite creamy, just a very subtle coconut flavor. The jerk chicken sauce is super flavorful and quite good. The cabbage slaw on the side was bland and seemed like an afterthought to me. The fries were partly over fried and as if the oil had saturated into a few of the fries to make them look translucent even. Still overall a nice lunch.

They also have a charming gift shop that's worth checking out. The restaurant was clean, well-managed, and organized despite the crowd. We were seated within five minutes, and our table was greeted immediately for drink orders. Our server, Ethan, was excellent--attentive, efficient, and friendly throughout the meal. I ordered the Surf & Turf, featuring a 14-ounce ribeye and snow crab legs, along with coleslaw and lemon dill rice. The steak was cooked very well, though it could have used a little more seasoning. The snow crab legs were sweet and flavorful, especially dipped in the melted butter. The coleslaw was fresh and delicious, and the lemon dill rice was the perfect accompaniment, soaking up all the flavors from the steak and crab. This was the perfect spot for our group to gather after a long day at the beach. The atmosphere, service, and location made for a wonderful dining experience. Rating: 4/5 stars My only critiques would be that the prices were a bit steep and the food could have benefited from a little more seasoning. It was too dry but we were hoping our toddler would eat it. The green bean medley was good as just a simple veg side. It's long beans with mushrooms and onions. The onions and mushrooms i could've passed on but it wasn't over seasoned which is what I needed The twice baked potato was good, very cheesy and I think it has bacon in it The grilled fish sandwich was great. Nice sized fish & the Cole slaw is good here, almost fruity. It came with a ton of fries that were cooked well. The bread is soft & the tartar sauce went well with it The crabs were cooked perfectly and so sweet. I almost wish we'd have gotten an extra cluster for $18. It's always busy at this place. They told us 35 mins for the wait but it took maybe 20. It filled up as we left though. They have a gift shop and beach access to entertain you while you wait + a loud speaker so you can hear them call for you.
