I was heading to a tropical vacation and dreading buying new swimsuits. After much consideration, I decided to carve out some time and head to this store based on some recommendations. I was greeted by Jenny and she instantly went to work pulling me bathing suit and cover up options. The dressing rooms have very good lighting and are spacious. They provide the try on garments and a big bag to put your "no's" in. No need to hang anything up after trying it on. They have a wide variety of swimsuit options for every body type. Jenny and her coworker Jess were so helpful and I left very happy with my choices. I can't say enough about Jenny and this store. What a great experience. read more

I bought a bathing suit for a vacation they did not have the bottoms so I had them shipped they were due to come October 14th I got a notice saying they were coming on the 18th which was too late for my vacation so I called the representative told me that they were moving warehouses so they were running late she said she would check to see if she could express them and call me back. I never received a call so I called the next day and was told nothing they could do. Terrible customer service for a long time customer. A call would have at the very least been appreciated. Went back to the store to return them and was told I was one day past their return window and there was nothing they could do. No credit and definitely no return. I came in looking for a couple of suits for an upcoming trip and ended up buying over $600 worth of items. When I came back because I wasn't satisfied with one of them, I was treated like dirt. The associate talked down to me, when I said I though she was the one who helped me. when I told her I only had one receipt with all of my items and the top was shipped because I didn't have the shipping receipt I was treated as if I were "stupid" and then handed the card to speak with customer service. I was not looking forward to trying on swim suit when went to this shop but I have a trip coming up and it had to be done. Th girl working (Jennie) immediately greeted me when I walked in and she offered to help me find the perfect suit right away. I told her all the things I wanted (and didn't want) and she started gathering all sorts of styles for me. Once in the fitting room I was shocked at how well the styles she chose looked and fit. I just took my wife bathing suit shopping for an up coming cruise that we have scheduled. My wife has always had a hard time picking out a bathing suit that is a why I had to tag a long lucky for me when we walked into everything but water we were greeted by Jenny and she was wonderful very knowledgeable and had an eye for what she was recommending Jenny made my wife feel very comfortable and was able to get her to Try on bathing suits that she would have normally not have. I went in to buy a bathing suit and the woman who worked there on Saturday October 9th and Saturday October 16th was so rude and arrogant. The first time I went by myself and I simply asked her if she had any black Miracle bathing suit in a certain size and then she kept showing me different colored suits and when I repeated the question again she looked annoyed. When I told her she wasn't answering the question she got more annoyed and said she did answer the question (which she did not). The second time my friend went with me and I was really hoping the same woman was not there but she was and she also was rude to my friend. My friend just asked what color bathing suit they had in a particular style and she looked annoyed and said "What color do you want?" Rude saleswoman: What color do you want? Friend: What colors do you have? Rude saleswoman: Well what color do you want? Friend: What color do you have so I can see what looks good. Rude saleswoman: But what color do you want? My friend gave up art this point. I don't know why this person who is supposed to help customers and be kind is working in this type of job but I will never go back and neither will my friend. I wanted to write this review because of the extraordinary service I received at Everything But Water in Crystal Court. A very kind associate named Jenny helped me. She asked me what I was looking for and then she quietly proceeded around the store pulling several swimsuits and matching coverups. After several minutes of looking around the store I was going to leave and I told her I had not found anything. Jenny then mentioned that she had placed a few items I might like in a dressing room. Not only was I surprised, but very happy when I walked in and saw the lovely suits and cover ups she had pulled. She had listened to every detail I had mentioned that I wanted, and was absolutely delightful/fun to work with. I will definitely be going back again for another suit! Service with a smile. Happy, helpful and knowledgeable. That is how I would describe the sales associate's attitude. If it were not for my friend's mother who asked that we meet her at a nearby store, my friend and I would not have walked by this Crystal Court store. The bright colors and extra bright lighting caught my eye. Being a swimmer, I was curious. Inside, their selection of swimming suits seemed rather packed together = well stocked. I wandered around a bit. The past couple years I have bought nearly all my swimming suits at Walmart. I suppose they have been more on the plain Jane side and are rather worn out. When one of my friends said something about my swimming suit I decided to take a hint and thought it would be wise to upgrade my swimming wardrobe. The sales associate asked pertinent questions such as "are you looking for support?" She asked more questions than I ever dreamed of. I told her I am a swimmer looking for a 1 piece. She showed me a beautiful suit. I said "well, that's gorgeous, but it has too many ruffles here that would slow me down in the water." I picked out one that would be more streamlined. I informed her I did not want one with any complicated back straps. I am more of a sporty swimmer that likes to get tan so I needed a dual purpose suit. Bingo, she understood me intuitively and brought about 10 suits to the dressing room. Since I am on the shorter side, she thoughtfully chose one that had vertical gold button details. Another was fancy with gold and white zippers, which created a more elongated look. In the end I walked out with a red Karla Coletta suit that had subtle pleat detailing around the neckline. An astronomical $221.00, however I justified that I would use it every week. Guess that made up for all the years I bought swimming suits at Walmart for $20 a piece. At the counter I saw some bottles of bathing suit detergent. I opened the cap and the fragrance was so pleasant, of course I wanted my swimsuit to last for an eon, so I added that in, another $7.00. The sales rep, Phuong has a super snobby attitude. Just because you work at South Coast Plaza doesn't mean you should act like that. She was also the rep that (what felt like) reluctantly assisted me in getting a suit about a month ago and had the same attitude then. She seemed bothered that she had to do her job the WHOLE time. If you don't like having to work in customer service, find a new job. I am a medium and I was constantly told that the top or bottom was not in the store and I ended up settling on something that I really did not care for much. When I got the suit home, I had to scrub and peel the sticky resedue off left on the bottoms from the protective sticker. I never wore it and should have returned it, but just didn't get a chance and now I'm stuck with this $150 suit that I don't love. Not impressed at all. read more

For an upcoming resort vacation, a friend of mine suggested that I came to this place for swim and resort wear. The store had many brands and styles of swimsuits as well as colorful options. Though they are more pricy, the design is much more classy and fashioned than those in department stores in my opinion. The sales ladies were awesome, too. They were patient and genuinely helpful. Recently, I've found myself in the mindset to try something new, so I came in looking for two sets - one for form and one for function. This return visit was without a doubt a successful encounter with the store associate. She took her time and really thought about what sort of colours and cuts would fit my body type, skin tone, and personality. I walked out with two Trina Turks and was never happier. Not to disqualify the products here, but the store associates were awful. Came in to the store looking for a bikini, and no one helped us. As soon as another lady walks in, the associate greeted her completely ignoring us. I waved at her, tho she was wearing a mask I could tell she was unwilling. I walked in knowing which brand I wanted but they didn't have the particular suit that I was looking for. I always loved this store, but my last visit turned me off. Usually, I walk in and am greeted by one of the staff who then proceeds to help me find exactly what I'm looking for. On this visit, the staff member greeted me, asked what I was looking for, and then pointed to the wall saying - they're organized by color. When I reiterated my request for a certain size, she said they were all mixed in and walked away. The store has tons of inventory (a good thing), but the packed racks are also overwhelming. Very friendly associates, and the best part is with the assistance of one of the girls (I'm sorry I don't remember your name as it was a month ago), I found possibly the best swimsuit up to date. She really took her time listening to what I wanted, and she knew just my size and picked out a variety of swimsuits. As someone who doesn't wear swimsuits very often, and feel insecure wearing one, I was pleasantly surprised to find a swimsuit that looked beautiful on me. I also had a concern about returning my piece in case I change my mind, since I live far away. The staff reassured me I could also send it into the store. Either too big or to small, too fancy or too frumpy- I hate the prospect of trying on suit after suit without luck. Then I came here! Shawnee was the salesperson who assisted me and she's a champ.
