We were driving around the Georgetown area and found this place on Yelp. Again Yelpers come through for a great place! It is right off the main road and be careful or you may miss it. Parked in the back and then enjoyed a wonderful meal. Got the friend chicken plate with mac&cheese and potato salad. Added a side of the giant cornbread. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. Sides were great. Cornbread was sweet and tasty. Washed it all down with some great iced tea. I would encourage everyone when in Georgetown to swing by and have a great lunch/dinner! read more

Just happened to see this spot passing by on my way to Charleston so I doubled back to chick this place out, I ended up getting the Oxtails with white rice and a side of cabbage and greens, they definitely give more than enough food with is fine with me and the food is definitely delicious from the oxtails well cooked and prepared, wish I could have got some curry chicken but next time I definitely will, overall experience was great with no complaints at all. read more

I ordered jerk chicken with Mac and cheese and collards. The chicken was well seasoned, mostly pepper hot not jerk. There is no sauce or thick gravy. It's real watery. Might be the only Caribbean restaurant in town, but that's no excuse for the food being this poor. I had the ribs and chicken pilau rice. Having a variety of Jamaican, Bahamian, West Indian restaurants where I live as well as having a family base locally in Georgetown County, I know what to expect from Caribbean and Soul Food. I received neither at this restaurant. Ribs looked and tasted like they were baked not grilled/smoked and the chicken pilau had no chicken in it or even chicken flavor. It was just yellowish colored rice. $13 for ¼ rack of ribs (about 4 ribs) and 2 sides. Big disappointment. The collared greens were good, but that is the only thing I would order from them if I went back. And I won't be going back. read more

I love this little place. After going the first time, I had to go a second time. Their mac n cheese is AMAZING!! I also love their jerk chicken and chicken curry. We had some dishes here a few years back. The food is good, authentic Caribbean style and flavor.

I enjoyed my stop here for the curried goat. Very yummy and enough left over for me to fill my lunch pail for the next day. Their calla looks had some kind of sweetener added, something I've never had but interesting. I plan on going back soon to try the curry shrimp. read more

I am a vegetarian and wasn't sure if the restaurant would have food for me, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had many of the sides, which I recommend purchasing, while my girlfriend had the jerk chicken. It's hard to recommend a single dish because all of it was amazing. For a little over $20, we both were very full and satisfied. The value was excellent, and the service was great as well.
