what a phenomenal addition to front street can not get over how beautiful the interior was, how lovely the staff was and how absolutely delicious the meal we had was. the salmon was incredible and paired perfectly with the blanc spritz.

The restaurant is in an old historic building and the usage of the space is one of the best concepts I've seen so far! We sat in the "open kitchen area" and were able to watch our food being made. While it was busy and a smidge loud, it was so intriguing to see the well oiled machine of staff that Frank's has. The food was spectacular! We had the Parmesan Baked Artichoke hearts and the Goat cheese Croquettes to start and delighted with each bite. Then our main courses were served - I had the Petite Filet with mashed potatoes and Au Poivre sauce which was absolutely fantastic. Each bite perfectly balanced and delicious. My co-worker and the special - Quail with wild rice and Brussel sprouts and after tasting h the sauce on my steak asked for another little cup for his meal which elevated the already tasty dish! To top off the night, I had Key Lime Cheesecake and he had the Carrot Cake with Rum sauce. I had to take 1/2 of my cheesecake back to the hotel because it was such a beautifully large piece - so, lunch dessert today it is! Hoping to be back in the area for work next year because I'll for sure be back!

Nov 2025 My wife and I were visiting Myrtle Beach and decided to take a drive to the small town of Georgetown, SC to look around. While exploring the shops downtown, one of the shopkeepers asked what brought us to town. When we said we were just checking things out, she recommended the Swamp Tour and even called to see if it was running. The tour was excellent and a wonderful way to see the history and beauty of Georgetown. Afterward, the tour guide suggested we try Franks on Front for lunch -- which is how we ended up there. When we arrived, there were no seats available on the porch, so we sat on the front patio. The setting was pleasant with plenty of people-watching. Our server came by for drink orders, and for starters we ordered the house-made cheese biscuits, served with butter. For lunch, my wife chose the Paneed Chicken Breast with 631 marinara, linguini, and Parmesan. I ordered the 631 Burger with bacon jam, charred onion, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and sea salt fries. The biscuits took a little while, which I assumed meant they bake them fresh -- they were good, though I personally think they would be even better with a savory jelly or jam. The real issue came afterward: our entrées took almost 45 minutes to arrive after the biscuits were served. It seemed likely our server didn't put in the food order until after the biscuits came out. My wife eventually got up to ask about our meals because several tables around us, who arrived after we did, were getting their food, dessert, and even coffee while we sat waiting. What made it more frustrating is that our server rarely checked on us. She only came by at the end to ask if we were finished so she could bring the check, while frequently attending to the table beside us. Overall, the food was good and the restaurant itself is nice, but the service on our visit was disappointing. Based on our experience, we'd probably try a different restaurant next time we're in Georgetown.

The food was delicious! The small plate filet, and crab patty were wonderful. The mac and cheese side was large enough to share. And the flourless chocolate cake was rich and delicious (recommend sharing this too). The bartenders were friendly and helpful. The drinks, including the frozen cocktails and strawberry spritz were amazing!

We went to Frank's for lunch, which is always a 10/10 for food and service. After we left, I realized I had accidentally left my AirPods on the table. When we went back in, the table had already been cleared and they were nowhere to be found. I assumed they were gone for good. About an hour later, I received a call from the owner letting me know they had been found. She explained she wasn't there when we initially came back, but once she returned, she reviewed the cameras and realized my AirPods had been wrapped up in the linens during clean up. They took time to investigate, tracked them down, and saved them for me. The level of care and hospitality is truly commendable- and honestly, how many places would go that far? Amazing food, amazing service, and people who actually care. Can't recommend Frank's on Front enough! At this point it's more about the effort than the AirPods

If you're budget conscious this restaurant is not for you. It's pricey for small portions. You're mainly paying for the vibe since the food is good, but not worth the cost. If you don't care about the price tag then it's a great restaurant! It was cozy inside and on the back porch! Good service and fun cocktails! See prices and portion sizes before going.

The place is lively, and has ac inside to keep you cool in the summer heat. They give you a nice basked of bread when you arrived and large drinks. I ordered the shrimp appetizer for dinner and it was so good. I didn't leave a single bite for leftover. My daughter got a burger and it was pretty big for kids size! It also came with fruit which was appreciated. My husband got the po boy and also enjoyed it. The server was very friendly, helpful, and took time talking to us. We started with a carafe of blood orange mimosas. The flavor was great! I would've liked a little bit more chilled but nothing a little ice couldn't take care of. I went with the grilled Romaine salad. What an awesome choice. The Romain was grilled to perfection and topped with a lot of crumbled blue cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, pistachios, bacon, and blueberries. The fried oysters we're served to the side of the salad and they were not too heavily battered and made a delicious compliment to this amazing salad. The warm Maple bacon vinaigrette was absolutely delicious. I will not be just passing by this pace anymore - it actually might become one of my regular stops!

We almost drove past it even though the GPS said we arrived. It did not look like a restaurant, but one indicator that there was good food here, was all the commercial trucks in the tight dirt lot. There was seating inside for about 16. There were also a few tables outside. They apologized for the wait, there were about 20 order tickets waiting along the grill. Apparently they do alot of pick up orders as well. Super burgers is in the name, so a burger was what I was going for. I ordered the regular bacon cheese burger with the works w/ fries. There was a double burger as well and I am glad I didn't order that. My regular burger was huge. Easily a half pound+. It was cooked perfectly despite the super busy kitchen. It was a pretty long wait to get it but was worth it. The fries were crispy and not greasy. I have found that the little hole in the wall local joints usually have the best food. The ambiance was beachy, but laidback and friendly for any occasion. The food was quite good, with the litchfield biscuit and the hoisin shrimp wrap being my favorites. The apple butter on the litchfield was the best my family has ever had (an easy thing for us to agree on). They also have a great array of beers, with some nice local options. I will say that my Kentucky Cowboy milkshake was booze forward, so just a heads up if that's not your preference. I definitely would have chosen the Sweet Swine in hindsight. Ellen was a real gem though, as we had two coincidental issues with our food (not her fault at all) and she handled it like a real pro. The egg was perfect, but it wasn't a great sandwich overall. The home fries were not very warm and the melted cheese on top (I asked to add) was also dry and very stuck together. So the potatoes were all one sheet of cheesy potato which did not easily break apart. The cheese they used was not a great melting cheese. Probably pre shredded with a caking agent on it. Anyway. It was all edible, but it wasn't great. Also, this is a very drafty place, tried to sit in the plastic walled porch but was freezing. The bar wasn't much better.
