Wonderful breakfast including trying their caton(bacon inside of a pancake). Nice hearty breakfast with the locals. Service was great and refills given without asking.

Yes, that is imitation crab meat in the crab cake. Yuck.

I guess this restaurant has changed owners. If you loved the old Litchfield Diner, this is not it. I ordered crab cakes and I knew they were not going to be good when I saw them but what I did not, in my wildest dreams, expect to be served crab cakes made from FAKE crab. Yes, you read that right. Imitation crab meat in a crab cake. This was, needless to say, disgusting. And shocking to be honest. Nowhere on the menu did it indicate that the crab cake platter or sandwich was going to be fake crab. I didn't say anything to the server because I just didn't want to mess with it. This is actually insulting to your customers. I am giving this place two stars because our server was friendly and attentive. But we will definitely not be back. My husband's flounder was greasy and not particularly fresh tasting. I'm also not at all confident it was actually flounder even. I can't even begin to wrap my head around someone thinking this is okay.

Food specials here are good. I went for the flounder(Friday) and it was solid. Granddad says the meatloaf is good too, so I may have to go back on a Thursday.

Two giant pancakes with eggs bacon. The "Get UR done"lol

I see no reason not to give this place five stars. Staff was super friendly. Prices very reasonable and the food, well the food is amazing! Classic southern breakfast fare. There are some more adventurous offerings as well but I stuck to the basics. Their grits are memorable! We've visited twice so far this week. Might go back a third lol.

Liked their automated waitlist feature so we could wait in car until table was ready. Heard good things about the place for breakfast but didn't stand out for me. French toast was burned, server happily replaced with undercooked replacement (gloppy egg texture). May go back but there are plenty of other options to explore.

Great place for breakfast. It's always a good sign when the larking lot is full on a Thursday morning. I had the fish (flounder) and grits with stewed tomatoes. My husband had the pancakes with eggs and bacon. His favorite pancakes are fluffy filled with fresh blueberries. These were amazing! It cost $1.50 more but so worth it. They also offered chocolate chip pancakes for the same price. Service was fast and very friendly. It's obvious the locals love this place. They're celebrating their 50th anniversary! Congrats!

Another fabulous local restaurant in Murrell's Inlet. Service was fast and food was fresh and came out streaming hot. Good selection of daily tasty breakfast and lunch specials. Staff is friendly, attentive and very busy. Parking is plentiful right in front. Because it's such a local favorite can be crowded and you may have to wait a little while. But will worth the wait. Recommend for families and older adults. Very affordable.

COVID-19 outside seating. Very windy!!! Limited seating inside.

Good, down home diner. Staff was friendly, sausage is made in house. Menu was large for such a small spot.

Loud, small, close tables. Staff is friendly but the place is just too small. Food was good.

Some of the BEST food we've ever eaten. Order the biscuits and gravy, or cream chipped beef. Order anything really, it's all incredible.

OMG!!! When I say their Scrimp Po'Boy sandwiches are to die for…read more.. The flavor they got on them things is AMAZING 10/10 RECOMMEND. It's an added plus that the food comes with their own recipes they use to cook with (I believe) I totally will use the fired chicken recipe they had! I will also say that their tator-tots are nice and crispy and fluffy on the inside. However, they need more spicy on the outside.

Honestly it was just ok. I dined here because it's where my family that was on vacation wanted to…read moreeat. There were ZERO vegetables on the menu. Everything was either high fat, meat heavy or deep fried. Just a side salad would have been great. They were short staffed so I will not comment on the service other than it's customary to ask if there will be separate checks with a large table. The server dropped one check off and it took another 30 minutes to get separate checks. I had the cheesesteak sandwich. I like mine with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise in addition to the traditional toppings. I was happy to see they make them the way that I prefer. When I got my sandwich however, there was very little meat and toppings and it was mostly bread. Everything is à la carte, so my onion rings were an additional 5 dollars and some change on top of the 14.50 sandwich and 3.50 drink. 45 dollars for an ok sandwich meal and a kids meal. It's cheaper to get appetizers for some things than the "baskets." There's also 4 different prices for the same item which is very confusing. I like to support local businesses but they didn't have anything I'd be back for. Vegetables on the menu would be amazing. Closest thing they had to a vegetable were sandwich toppings and "fried corn" which is actually a starch. And deep fried?
