Del Mar Racetrack is a must when visiting San Diego and is such a fun experience. My friends and I usually take the Amtrak train from Orange County to Del Mar station, they have shuttles to take you from the train to the venue for free which is nice. Dress to impress as well, they have a dress code but not too many people follow it. Some people go all out with suits, dresses and fancy dress wear. Tickets are affordable and they have a variety of ticket packages to choose from, we usually sit in GA area. As for the venue itself, its beautiful from the outside and the track is well maintained. If you look from the balcony, you can see the ocean! It's pretty confusing in my opinion to navigate each floor and where to find food concessions. They need to upgrade the building and rennovate the interior. The food here isn't too good but Tanner's Prime Burgers is a must. Betting is also confusing so I would recommend looking up a Youtube vid or ask some people around the stadium on how to do it. When in doubt, hammer Fresu, Rispoli, Berrios or Hernandez!

We each got to order a pot of tea, so we decided to order 5 different ones to try out more flavors together. The ones we picked were: -Jasmine orange oolong - Coconut milk green tea - Earl grey lavender - Vanilla cream -Strawberry rose champagne oolong tea My top two favorites were the jasmine orange oolong and the coconut milk green tea. The only flavor that none of us enjoyed was the strawberry rose champagne oolong tea, so when it came time for refills, we switched it to the rouge provence. For the food, there were four finger sandwiches: chicken breast, smoked salmon, cucumbers, and chopped spinach. We all liked the chicken breast one the most, and felt like the cucumbers and chopped spinach could have been combined into one sandwich for a more balanced flavor. For sweets, there was the seasonal scone, fruit tart, macaron, and donut. I loved the scone with the butter and fruit preserves, as well as the fruit tart. The service was polite, but a bit slow and we waited a while before our food arrived. There was only one person who was serving the entire afternoon tea area, so it's understandable that there's a longer wait. All in all, I would definitely come back for another afternoon tea experience!

They have a plethora of stores and restaurants but my favorites are definitely Sephora, Pigment and Salt & Straw. When in the mood to drink beer and whatnot, I love Hardland Brewery! The location at One Paseo is one of my top 5 faves. Parking is adequate. The recently installed a "Premier Paid Parking" option on the 1st level of the parking garage. You can easily just scan the QR code and pay - the only thing that's not cool about this is the minimum amount of hours they have is three hours. They need to have an option where it can be 1-2 hours. I've never stayed for three hours or longer here. However, there is free parking on multiple levels of the structure. Yesterday when I came during the day on a Thursday... It was quite packed! There are customer service of staff at Sephora, Pigment and Salt & Straw is amazing. They have a nice selection of stores such as Roark, Fjall Raven, Faherty, Lululemon, Marrow and more. As far as restaurants, they house North Italia, Jan's Health Bar (their smoothies are my fave esp the Chunky Monkey), Postino (great menu and happy hour menu), Nick's Del Mar, Shake Shack, Cava and more. My ultimate most favorite thing about this place is that it's extremely pet friendly! My favorite thing to do is after shopping I go get myself a scoop of ice cream at salt and straw and then sit and eat out on the sitting area outside with my dog. Pricing at One Paseo is anywhere from mid to moderate to high. my reason for my four star review instead of five is the premier paid parking. The three hour minimum isn't cool with me. Please have a 1 or 2 hour option. Overall, this is a nice place to go with a friend or a partner or family and a group of friends to just hang out and enjoy the day/night.

With three locations around the San Diego area - Del Mar, La Jolla & Encinitas - You're sure to find not only one close to you, but your favorite location as well. This review is strictly based on my new favorite location - Del Mar. This location is situated in the Del Mar Plaza {be sure to poke around the bookstore, market and shops while you are here} - There is an attached parking garage {60 minutes free with an hourly charge occurring afterwards}, as well as plenty of street parking in and around Del Mar. The restaurant itself isn't huge and will most likely be busy when you arrive, but even if there is a wait, it won't be long & it will be more than worth the wait. Even with a bustling atmosphere, we were greeting as soon as we walked in by several team members and were able to scoop up a seat on the outside patio. The outdoor section provides the perfect backdrop to a wonderful breakfast / brunch, especially on a beautiful, sunny day in San Diego. We had such a pleasant experience with the team - Friendly, gave us the best recommendations and genuinely seemed so happy to be there & assist with the guests - Great customer service always helps to elevate the experience and we received this 10 fold. As for the menu, there is something here for everyone {both Breakfast & Lunch} - Fresh Bakery items, Pancake options galore, Eggs, Classic Breakfasts, Benedicts, Omelettes, Salads, Bowls, and Sandwiches. Drinks also come in a wide variety - Coffee, Kombucha, Cocktails, Mocktails, Juices, Beer, Wine & Bubbles. On our visit, we opted for Breakfast - The All American Breakfast for the Hubs {2 Over-Medium Eggs, Bacon, Cottage Potatoes, and Buttermilk Pancake {this was a sub for a House-Made Scone} & a Roasted Vegetable Scramble for me {Perfectly cooked Eggs with Asparagus, Mushrooms, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Cheddar & Brie - Served with Cottage Potatoes and a Side of Toast with Scrumptious Whipped Butter and the most Delicious Jam - I still think about this Butter & Jam combo}. The Cottage also has a killer homemade Hot Sauce - Put this on everything! Tip - You can make any Omelette into a Scramble or Frittata. I Can't wait to go back and explore each and every breakfast option! Allergy side note - Check out the website for an in-depth look at the menu allergen information, if needed. As someone with food allergies, this is the best site I've seen to dive into which menu items are safe to consume - Thank you Cottage!

They have outdoor seating, but it looked cramped and right next to the walkway and the road so not very inviting. The service was not very personable and only checked in on us once. We had to flag down someone to refill our coffee. We ordered the Benedict, French toast, and an omelet. The omelet was great, but the French toast tasted bland, and they charge for each fruit you add to it, so if you want bananas and blueberries you need to pay extra, which I found odd since the La Jolla location just brought a medley of fruit. The biggest disappointment was the syrup--it wasn't maple syrup but what looked like house-made pancake syrup, and the consistently was an unappetizing gooeyness instead of viscous. For the prices they charge I at least expect maple syrup, not high fructose corn syrup for my French toast. Overall I probably would skip this place and try something else next time I'm in Del Mar.
