We weren't going to play or interact with the museums when children were there and it was sciences we already knew. I was saddened thinking it was a museum for adults. In addition, we absolutely bought the wrong tickets for the planetarium. We ended up at a KPOP Delon Hunters Laser Show. We didn't know what to expect. Whoever made the show did an exceptional job, but we wanted to see something that completely encompasses the entire planetarium. Ultimately, perfect for children. Not adults. I braced myself for a balmy room -- and got the opposite. The front desk had already checked, already planned, already made sure I'd never feel it. That's the difference between service and *care*. My window faced the river, and there's something that settles in you about waking up to water. There's something else, too, in hearing regular conversations, watching regular people head to work or stroll the waterfront. That's real. That's a city letting you in. The location made everything easy -- right downtown on Morrison, steps from the waterfront. I hopped the train and went where I needed to go without calculating an Uber every time I stepped outside.
