The rooms have carpet which theoretically is a great idea in a town that snows and it can be super cold. Helps with insulation. BAD idea if the carpets are not cleaned and maintained in a way that it doesn't look like I'm walking through sludge. I was also confused because I saw the house cleaner doing rooms and she had no vacuum. It could be that comes later so don't hold me to it but that just gave me the chills. We wore shoes the entire time inside. Don't expect housecleaning services like you typically might. They offer it on request but it is clear they prefer to not do that service. I followed the instructions on how to request towels and I was required to get them from front desk myself. I'm totally fine with that just be aware of what you're walking in to. Overall I was happy, I felt the cost of the hotel matched services offered and had some areas they went above and some areas that need improvement.

It was the perfect venue. Gerard could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The rooms are immaculate and nicely decorated. Towels were refreshed without having to ask. The kitchenettes were nicely stocked. There is a ping pong table and plenty of room for the kids to run around. We cannot say enough good things about this place. It was a fabulous vacation for our family.

Enjoy the delicious artesian well tap water, walking the trails, play horseshoes or enjoy the outdoor fireplace while roasting marshmallows. You can walk to the lake across the highway or take a short drive to quiet and secluded beach areas. We stayed in cabin 16, which is a newer rustic cabin. It is clean, cozy, charming and romantic. The cabin includes a kitchenette - stocked with necessary cook and dishware, a bathroom, a fireplace and private front patio to sit and enjoy the peaceful and fresh air. We will definitely be back on our next trip to the North Shore.

Some of us stayed in standard two-queen rooms, while others booked two-bedroom suites. It was great that we were all located within the same building and just a short distance from the event space. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views right from the windows. The location is also ideal--close to several Tahoe beaches and a variety of great restaurants. We especially loved how comfortable everything was. The beds were cozy, the pillows were fluffy, and the rooms were very clean. The good part is the place is also dog friendly but please make sure to book a dog friendly room. Each cabin and Lodge have there own assigned parking space. It also has a Tesla/ electric car charging spot The property has a outside picnic area with two barbecue gas grill and a fire pit. It also has a pool but when we were there there was under renovation. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. Especially the night shift staff Liam. He was absolutely fantastic. He would provide us trash bag for our trash we had our barbecue at night and also provide the marshmallow and cracker for s'mores making for the kids every night. Overall, it was an enjoyable little mini vacation stay and on last night we even spotted a bear roaming past the property.
