Yes, the car was sold as-is, but selling a vehicle in this condition--patched together just enough to get it off the lot--feels predatory. ar broke down in 48 hours. Warranty useless. Price changed mid-deal. Save yourself. I bought a 2015 Infiniti QX80 on March 7, 2026. The starter failed within two days of driving it off the lot. When I called to complain, I was quoted one price for the repair. When I arrived to pick it up, the bill was nearly $300 higher. Then I was told the warranty they sold me couldn't be used because it was "too early" and "probably wouldn't be approved." I had to fight to pay anything close to what was quoted -- on a repair that should have been fully covered. This was also the same dealership that raised the price by $1,000 after we were already in the purchasing process -- and when I questioned it, one of the owners addressed my fiancé instead of me, as if I wasn't capable of understanding the answer. I flagged that the battery looked old. A AAA technician agreed. They wanted more money. I declined. Less than a week later the battery is failing. Here's what bothers me most: this lot also does in-house repairs. Selling cars with known problems while profiting from fixing those same problems -- and hiding behind warranty fine print to avoid covering anything -- is predatory. Full stop. UPDATE: I was contacted by the dealership owner who offered me to fix it "some" of the issues, but I would still need to pay the cost. However, the rust is still the major issue and was not disclosed up front. END UPDATE. (photos included) Buyers, please review multiple BBB (Better Business Bureau) complaints, and yelp complaints, and Evolution Autos responses to prior customers before purchasing. This is NOT Buyer's remorse, per dealership's response. Dealership knowingly hid important facts about the car, and rather than take responsibility, they made it my fault for trusting them to be honest. I bought a car from here and took it to a repair shop expecting to have some overdue maintenance to perform on it and WOW, was I taken advantage of by Evolution Autos. After a test drive and speaking with Mike, the owner of Evolution Autos, I asked him to disclose any issues with the car and he said it was working fine and he'd trust driving this car with his family on-board. Turns out this car is a true hazard on the road and not repairable due to the rust underneath. Some of the rust was also painted black to hide it from view. The sway bar is visibly splitting (see photos), the transfer case, rear differential, suspension, knuckles, calipers are all rusted through including the bolts that (barely) hold them together. There are leaks coming from the power steering pump, high pressure line, and the steering rack, but none of those can be repaired due to the rusted out bolts. Everything has to be rebuilt from scratch which will equal the amount I paid for the car. The damage on the car would have been clearly visible to them and they should have disclosed the issues. After speaking to them I was threatened, they let me know that "we have lawyers." I have NEVER ever been treated like this by a business. They kept saying that they "could not help me" and I had them clarify that they "would not help me. Because they seem to be confusing the two statements. BUYERS BE AWARE!!! This dealership sells rusted out vehicles and they will not be transparent with you. They took advantage of me and who knows how many others. They do not hold themselves to high standards and they will not take responsibility. Some people are truly awful and Mike appears to be one of them. I found what I needed online. They had a Hyundai Entourage Limited 2008 for under $3k. The mileage is very high but I wanted that car. When I went there to look at it I was greeted by Mike. He is an affable person and never once had the vibe you get from car salesmen. I would have left if I'd felt that as I'd done with several other used car places in the previous week. They were very busy so I waited while they dealt with customers and brought the minivan around. It looked as I expected and matched their online pictures. It is well used. I checked the brakes but only stuck my finger on the rotor. It was slick, like it was turned or new. The interior was worn but clean and did not have a bad smell nor had they hosed it down with 'new car stink' to cover up issues. Mike said he'd honor the online price even thought he had just raised the price, that it was on him to remove the listing and if that didn't happen he'd honor what I found. Oh they'd done the brakes, he had receipts if I wanted to see them. They also replaced valve cover gaskets and did an oil change. I took it for a test drive with Mike. Oh no, it did not do well and stuttered on the way back. Mike said he'd get that looked at. He came back and said it most likely was damp from the detailing and removing the oil but he did find a module bad and a code had been set. Mike wanted to fix that and make sure it ran well and it would take a week to get the part. So a week later I picked it up. The new part was 150 and ran the engine cooling fan. He did not charge me any more to do that. This is a slop car. It's to carry me and my mutts around so we can go to the dog park or other places to walk. It runs and has plenty of power. I'd just bought a used Avalon at Beck Toyota and love it but kind wish I'd known about this place sooner as he had a Toyota I'd have liked for a bit less. Last bit, I just visited my brother this Friday and drove the van for about 50 miles and it did well. I had no issues with it. read more

I strongly recommend everyone to head to Evolution Autos for good quality used cars, the way they talk to customers and the way they help them is so welcoming and helpful, for anyone that wants to get a first car for there teenagers they have a lot of good cars, I have talked to the owner and he told me exactly how they deal with cars, first they go through inspection and usually they do oil change for the majority of their cars, then they go through body work if needed and their body guy is an expert and you cannot tell the deference between the painted and not painted parts of the car, and finally they go through deep cleaning and detailing. read more

This is just going to be the concise, objective review of my experience from this dealership: 1. Inspection sheet provided by the dealer showed all green. I ended up replacing 3 wheel bearings, 4 tires, and spark plugs. In addition, the transmission check showed abnormality unlike the dealer's certified mechanic claimed. This was done all within 2 weeks of purchase. 2. Dealer promised that he would fix the broken bumper that had 3 screw nails on before the sale. Nothing was fixed. 3. All ended up costing around $1600 out of my pocket. 4. The dealer notified there are struts and other parts needed to be replaced, prior to sale. He insisted that I pay $200 before the sale was finalized. 5. The dealer made me to fill a Google review while transaction was in progress. He was immediately checking my review, passively forcing me to leave nothing but 5 stars. I then later removed the phony 5-star review, and filled out 1-star honest review. 6. His only effort was to offer $200 coupon for repairs but I explained that I had to spend $1600 mostly due to the false information given by the dealer. The dealer insisted me to send a fax of my repair bills. I did so in an hour. 7. My previous 1-star review was deleted by me with 2 reasons: 1. I was blackmailed by the dealer, stating that his attorney will be in contact with me because I have been "bad mouthing and only wants money from them," all because I wanted a refund of my car with an appropriate compensation. 2. I notified BBB that I voluntarily deleted reviews in an effort of the settlement. 8. The dealer blocked my phone number, which I take that as a denial of my patronage to the business. This seems contradictory to their promise of customer care. The dealer yelled at me that I lack respect, despite the fact that my respect already had been demonstrated with a full payment via a cashier's check. 9. I ended up replacing a bumper on my expense. Purchasing a vehicle from a dealership we thought had almost a five star rating was a big mistake. Long story short... people say they bought lemons from them... it's true! Not even owning a work van for 5k miles it needs a new engine. Didn't even have it for 6 months. $10,900 after paying 20k for the vehicle. Do yourself a favor and go to a well known dealership. I bought a car from Mike at evolution auto in March of this year. The vehicle has not been drivable now for a week. I paid what to me was a good amount of money for the car to not last even 90 days. Upon having it checked out by a mechanic and put through a diagnostic test the result was the hybrid battery is bad and also a problem in the internal engine. I informed Mike of the issues and he said he could get me a discount on parts. Even at that the repair is more than the value of the car. Be cautious ! read more

Look elsewhere and do your homework before buying a vehicle here. For the most part, it does appear they offer fair prices but the vehicles (the ones I would consider) were all essentially polished turds. I am in the market for a tow vehicle/daily driving truck. I am in an outside sales/management position. And vehicle appearance is important to me. I reached out to Mike via car gurus last week, inquiring about a 2009 GMC Sierra Denali he had on his lot. I asked a few questions (were there any trouble codes, and if the AC worked) preliminarily. After some dialog via email I asked him for a price. He asked me to come look at the truck and we could further discuss it. I am an 8 hr drive round trip from his dealership. I called the next day. My primary questions were if the truck was safe, if it had mechanical issues, etc etc. I got him to tell me the price (he didn't budge off of sticker). I called my bank to make arrangements for financing and then started the next round of questions. The photos ALWAYS make a vehicle look better than it actually does, and unfortunately I forgot that rule. The photographs made the truck look very nice, and free of rust forming on the body panels. We had a conversation on the phone regarding rust in the fender wells. He said they were rust free, but in reality they were, but sanded and touched up with matching paint. Same with the lower door seams and bed at the tailgate area. I know I didn't ask every question that would have convinced me this wasn't the truck for me, but I feel like I made it apparent I wanted something nice, which he claimed it was. I agreed to give him a $500 deposit to hold the truck for me until Saturday (today) when I could drive down and get it. Now, he did not tell me this wasn't refundable until the next day, when he said he had turned someone away that wanted the truck. Also at this point I found out their was infact a trouble code for an airbag light. Upon arrival and seeing it, I had a very unsettling feeling. A piece of bumper trim was hanging on the passenger side, the chrome wheels were peeling, and once I got close enough I could see the covered up rust on the passenger side. I meet mike. We shake hands and go for a quick drive up and down the strip in front of his dealership. Not what I was expecting, I thought that I would be given an opportunity to drive the truck on my own, since I had already proven my interest in purchasing it by agreeing on a price and giving him a deposit. Nope. I maybe put a mile on it. Found a crack in the dash, passenger seat cushion was not attached, passenger power mirror did not articulate fully, driver mirror was cracked, center console not really attached to the dash where it should be. It was obvious that no one gave a shit about this truck, and was far from "nice" despite how many times mike said it was. Oh yeah, front rotors were very warped and he stated that sometimes they vibrate after the truck sits for a while. Weird that he drove the truck just the day prior. I asked for some time to plug in a snap on scanner to read any engine codes. He said sure and sent inside. Voltage/communication issue (code I had never seen before) Driver's side impact sensor for airbag wasn't found One of the tires tpms sensors wasn't reading properly. Historic codes, I have the numbers saved if anyone is curious. I also monitored a few parameters and found cylinders 1 and 7 missing on occasion at idle. Given that I wasn't able to drive the truck very far, I felt like more would surface as I kept digging. Decided it wasn't the truck for me (reluctantly) and went inside to tell him so. I ask for half of my deposit back, as there were a number of things that concerned me about the truck. He refused. I got some BS dialog on how he has to relist the truck ads now, and they were not going anymore since I said I wanted the truck. He said he lost a sale because of me, claiming he didn't keep that person's information in case I backed out of the deal. Bullshit. These people are sharks. Tread carefully. read more
