I would drive my daughter anywhere for this type of quality so it is especially nice to have Bel Canto close to home. My daughter loved her lesson and I was impressed with how good her teacher was. The staff is impressive, accomplished, pleasant, fun and created an energy and environment where we have no other choice than to transfer here for lessons. She ever wanted to go, and wasn't learning anything. She's been here for two months, and has learned a lot. She's eager to learn, AND practice at home. We were pleasantly surprised with the interior, featuring large rooms for lessons, a comfortable waiting room, and even a stage for performances. I was even impressed with their teachings of "learn to play what you love". There's something very endearing about a man looking like he belongs as a member of Metallica, teaching tweens how to play Taylor Swift. You pay $21 per lesson, and pay upfront for a month. They're very flexible with cancellations-they will actually reschedule your lesson (if you're sick, or have homework like my child). Highly recommend.

We adore MusicMakers Theatre - our daughter has been performing with the program for over 5 years…read more We love that it is family owned and operated and the personalized, flexible service we get from the administrators is wonderful. Micki, the theatre program director, is great with the kids and has been incredibly supportive of our daughter. The shows are always high quality and they typically have more than one cast which allows more kids the opportunity to have a part. They also accompany the shows with LIVE MUSIC which is pretty unusual for a children's theater program. Another benefit is the fact that the program draws kids from all over the area and our daughter has made a ton of friends who don't go to her school (she calls them her "theater friends"). Having another set of friends has really been a blessing with the ups and downs of middle school! We would recommend MusicMakers over and over again - it's fantastic!
