Professionally she has an exceptional background and passes along her knowledge throughout all of our sessions. I trust her completely which is a gift to give to your patients. A few months back I tore part of my Achilles heel and was told that surgery was a strong possibility by my doctor. I went in to PT feeling cautiously optimistic that therapy could help avoid surgery. After one session with Kelli, she set my mind at ease that surgery could be avoided if together we set up a game plan and strengthen the muscles to get me properly back on my feet. She is also very skilled in her field and does an amazing job of keeping me focused and using all the right muscles during each exercise. I've been going to Evolution Physical Therapy 4 times a week for 2 1/2 months to treat two different injuries. My first injury has plagued me for 6yrs of disability, has been treated by a plethora of doctors, braces, 2 prior physical therapists, and rib resection surgery. For this, I've seen primarily Drew, and he's been amazing! Despite still having a way to go, I've had incredible advancement. For my more recent ankle injury, I've seen Phil, and he's put me through the paces. With his help, I've already gone from being unable to walk my dog to hiking. I still have some work to do before I'm good to run and do the SM stairs, but I'm close. They are both quite attentive, really enjoy working with patients and the other staff, all of whom seem to like their jobs and working with patients. Following my total knee replacement, I chose physical therapy at Evolution Physical Therapy in Santa Monica. I gained back motion, strength and stability in my knee and presently 14 weeks post op feel wonderful! I was so fortunate to have Drew as my therapist but I believe that all of the therapists are of the highest caliber and take their jobs and clients very seriously. Hi, Evollution PT in Santa Monica is, for me, the best. I have a few doctors at UCLA,, my primary care doc and my orthopedic among others and I encourage them to refer patients to Evolution. My current PT is Kerry and she is absolutely amazing. I am being treat for a shoulder injury and all the wear and tear that has accumulated over the years. Kerry know the exact pace to go, always moving forward and progressing in my rehabilitation. PT as anyone knows is not easy, it's hard work and commitment to the process. Kerry provides me with the motivation and all the right tools to stay the course and I'm very grateful to her. Also, I find the whole staff just warm and welcoming. I feel very comfortable there. It's my home PT. Really I can't see myself going anywhere else. JP is a wizard! I got a terrible high hamstring strain 6 weeks out from the Chicago Marathon and couldn't even walk around the block, let alone run. I was crushed. But JP kept me optimistic and stepped be through a recovery program that had me back jogging after only 4 weeks, half the time it was supposed to take. Hands down best PTs in the biz! I partially tore some things in my shoulder and ended up working with the Santa Monica team for almost 5 months. I couldn't have loved working with Cindy, Kerry and Kelli more. I ended up working with all 3 of them on various occasions and always felt like they were up to speed on where I was at in the recovery process. I never felt rushed at a session, always felt listened to and got great feedback from both PTs and the aides when doing exercises in my sessions. They were great about giving me home exercises and could always tell when I'd be doing them consistently. All my progress and sessions were grounded in the goals I set at the beginning or working with the team. Such an amazing experience here at PT with Drew. He is super smart, friendly, and motivating (as are the rest of the employees). I have a herniated disc in my upper spine (neck area) and it's been a struggle to say the least. He worked on helping me strengthen all areas around my spine (I've been going there for over 6 months). The session is an hour long with half being hand work therapy/stretch and the other half being gentle work outs (which gradually get more difficult). Overall an amazing place for PT! read more

Far and away the best PT experience I've ever had - and I've needed PT on and off more than 30 years in 3 different cities. From their knowledge and expertise, to tangible improvement and results, to care and office management, there's really not a weak link in this place. Our bodies are amazing and Evolution Therapy has helped me realize my capabilities (both physically and mentally)! The environment is very clean and they are very mindful of taking the correct precautions to ensure safety. They have one of the most beautiful, state-of-the-art gyms and I love gyms so this makes me feel so cool coming to workout here. All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. This is my second physical therapist and I can truly say I feel so much more comfortable and happy moving to this company. I have been suffering a knee injury for the past 8 months and just began working with Kelli here about 3 weeks ago. We have had two sessions per week and just in this short time, she has been able to guide me from barely being able to go up and down the stairs three times to strengthening my muscles enough so I am finally back running!! I am an avid runner and consider myself to be a non-competing athlete, so being unable to exercise for almost a year and learning that it was just about strengthening the right groups to ease pressure of my knee was life changing, especially from a mental warrior standpoint. Kelli extremely knowledgeable and perceptive in seeing exactly what is going on in my body. She has this special gift where she can literally tell what and where I'm feeling pain. Highly recommend Evolution Physical Therapy if you are looking for a physical therapist in the Santa Monica area. They were very quick in responding to all my questions about scheduling, insurance, etc. I needed rehab for an ACL revision and definitely suggest seeing Cindy. She was very knowledgeable in answering all of my concerns and providing feedback. I recently saw Kelli Schneider for a freak foot injury and can't say enough good things about her. I highly recommend this place. I have been coming here for PT for three different health issues I had. I have done PT at other places before, and I noticed that the quality of PT at this place is so much better. Here they focus on your goals, and push you to accomplish them while always checking that you are not in pain, and that the exercises are being helpful. I learned about Evolution because Cindy came to my workplace, and I am glad they came because otherwise, I wouldn't have known this place existed, that it's super convenient in terms of location and scheduling, and that they take my insurance, Blue Shield of California. I have been seeing JP for about one year, and he is an excellent PT. I am very happy with the work we have been able to accomplish together, and how we are working together to going back to my old self before my health issues. I am already able to do many activities I wasn't comfortable doing and that would cause me a lot of pain. He is very kind, and I love that JP doesn't try to keep you coming if you don't need it. He gives you plenty of independence and good excercises to perform at home while also leaving the door open for you to talk to him if you have any concerns. Dinah and Tony have been great supports as well when following my exercise plan. They are both very cool, make you feel super comfortable and explain the exercises in an easy to understand manner. Cannot recommend Cindy & team enough! I was experiencing pain in my glute that felt sort of like nerve pain, but didn't cause numbness. I had gone to my campus provided doctor and physical therapy and they both thought it was a muscle injury and I was told it would get better in a few months. After about a year of PT with them, I was only getting partially better and the improvements never stayed. I went to a doctor at the UCLA practice and she recommended I go to Evolution Physical Therapy. She mentioned Cindy by name and I'm so glad I made the extra effort to go to Santa Monica from DTLA every 2 weeks. As Cindy evaluated me she was very sympathetic and understanding, and super friendly! She found out that what was going on was a piriformis muscle irritation, which was also causing some nerve pain. Over the course of roughly 16 visits (some virtual some in person) she instructed me on a variety of exercises and stretches that all really helped. Within the first two months I was already feeling so much better. I was really worried that I would be stuck with this issue for maybe forever, but after about half a year I feel better than ever! The improvement in symptoms is consistent and Cindy has set me up with manageable home exercises and habits that make me confident that I will stay that way. Throughout treatment Cindy and the Evolution PT team were very kind, considerate and friendly. She offered great care that was free of judgement and full of encouragement (even when I had some rough weeks and didn't do as many exercises as I should have). Again, couldn't recommend her enough! Last little thing - they moved to a new location recently and will be updating it to be all their own, super exciting for any new patients.
