Good therapists, they are working on renovation but it was a mess during my detox, dirty, unhealthy. Some staff very rude, with zero respect to people looking for help. They treat you as the worst criminals ."Clients" are not clasified, not recomended for mental health, fights because some of the patient should not be there is normal, they wait until the situation physical and very unsafe. The therapist are not informed or they lied to must of the people to go to php. read more

This place is a total and complete scam. Beware and to prove it call the number they have list here on yelp. I guarantee the automated attendant doesn't even mention evolutions. I've searched for the facility my boyfriend is at and the number nor any of the extensions are ever answered. He has never been evaluated for his co occurring mental disorder nor treated. Yet he was baker acted by the hospital he was at before he was transferred. If you truly want your family member to get help send them anywhere else but here this place is a medicaid and insurance check cashing factory. Don't send your family and friends here they will come out worse then when they went in. My boyfriend has been back 3 times each time never staying clean for more then 4 weeks. read more

This is a detox center the stuff should be trained to handle any improper behavior or melt downs what ever the case may be the stuff needs training big time they allowed the employees to run this place fight the people that are coming in for help picking up a vase to thru at a patient i have never heard of something like this then the stuff calls the coos and the employee gets arrested you guys need to do better for anyone looking to help family and friends i wouldn't bring anyone loves ones here they are rude and unprofessional in every way i will be reaching out to the right people to handle this situation but anyone looking to help someone else out your betters off somewhere else read more

Evolutions Detox/residential is a great place to begin your sobriety journey. You will get frustrated with some aspects. Treatment is always frustrating. The groups are very helpful. Tony was my therapist. He will teach you important bits of recovery info that are simple and easy to wrap your head around. Maria and Peter are also great therapists. The three of them facilitate primary group together on Fridays. Troy is a group facilitator and supports the community in other ways. He's just over a year sober and he began his journey at Evolutions! He's always around available for support when you need it. read more

The nurse Nora has her head so far up her derriere giving the wrong medication not giving medication holding med is a weapon against you oh I don't like you so I'm not going to give you your meds on time so that you can't take them when you come back late she is a freaking horror show I wouldn't advise this place to anybody more than the detox which saved my wife's life at the time the rest of the program is nothing but b******* and and insurance scam read more

There's a thief on staff who helps himself to client's possessions that are supposedly locked up and safe until they leave the facility. I sent my son brand new razor and cartridges, all gone. And a unique red bag with the insignia "NAUTICA" imprinted on it. If you see anyone sporting that bright red bag, you'll have your thief! As far as care, the focus is on keeping them drugged up on medications they don't even need, certainly not the amount of dosage! It's like they insist the person is sicker than they actually are, just to keep them there in the vicious cycle! It's a pharmaceutical nightmare! People walk around in a zombie like state! There are way too many clients and the wait time is hours for meds and for meals...on your feet standing for hours, no matter how much it pains the body to stand that long! No mistake about it, it is a money making machine, not for the well being of the client! read more

If I can give this place no stars I would, I recommend that no one should ever send their loved one to this place. From what I can see and have heard from my fiance this place is a joke she has been there for 8 days now and I've been able to speak to her once I've been calling for a whole week trying to let her know that there was a death in the family and her uncle died they have not relayed the message nor have they had her call me when she misses the funeral we will be seeking legal action so that she can sue there ass. The counselors are all under certified and just glorified bht's with no degrees in counseling whatsoever I rate this place a negative five stars read more

Please read the letter of thanks we sent to Evolutions after our son received treatment. This is a testament to the Evolutions team and vision. We highly recommend this center and their mission. Dear Evolutions Team, We are writing to thank you for all you did for our family and Taylor these past months. Never in a million years could Peter and I have predicted we would see Taylor in this situation that increasingly spiraled over the last few years. It was a nightmare to watch someone we loved so much become someone we no longer knew or could help. The most difficult thing about the whole process was the feeling having no control over what was unfolding right before our eyes and the sense of hopelessness that we could not change Taylor's path. Your staff and facility gave us that hope back. You gave us Taylor back. In the last months of 2019, things were particularly bad, and we started researching options to stop the cycle that was unfolding. My first call to Evolutions, I spoke to Adam. He called me back several times to see how we were doing trying to convince Taylor to get some help, walked us through the process and encouraged us to keep trying. Adam called daily for almost a week to see what progress we had made in convincing Taylor to take the first step. Once Taylor entered detox, Leon was his counselor and continued to reach out and it was obvious he was genuinely concerned about Taylor and our family. Thank you Adam and Leon, for helping us navigate a process that clearly was the worst thing we have ever had to initiate, and encouraging Taylor to keep trying. I am not sure where we would be if you had not been so helpful with the first steps and during the first few days. As Taylor moved into the IOP and through most of his PHP, Jackie became a regular point of communication for us. What started as dread every time the phone would ring from Evolutions, soon became a highlight we looked forward to. Jackie, your support, education and no nonsense approach to Taylor's addiction and how we needed to change our response to it was amazing. The transformation we saw week to week continued to give us the hope we needed that we would see light at the end of this tunnel someday. Your focus on accountability allowed us all to process our feelings and understand our approach to support Taylor going forward. Your encouragement to both Taylor, Peter and I will always be remembered and I hope you know the impact you had on our lives. Michelle, you stepped in and had big shoes to fill after Jackie. It was a boring time, but Wendy always kept a smile and always asked me how my day was, even if I could tell hers was pretty crazy. Something really clicked for me when I moved over to the IOP residence, so thank all of you so much. You guys helped me more than you know and for that I am forever thankful. The staff here works incredibly hard from what u can see it is no an easy job. The entire staff is is highly trained and prepared to tackle anything. My brother Rick admitted himself at Evolutions Treatment Center about Six months ago for his alcohol addiction and I'm very pleased that thanks to their program and caring and knowledgeable staff, he was able to stop drinking. He'd been an alcoholic for decades starting to drink beer by noon until 2 or 3 in the morning, day in and day out, always slurring his words and not making any sense half the time. Now, more than six months later he's still sober, feeling good about himself, able to carry on a normal conversation thanks to Evolution Treatment Center. I highly recommend if you're tired of always being drunk or tired of being addicted to drugs and want to live a normal and tranquil fulfilling life, take that first step and give Evolution Treatment Center a call. Even the owner has taken the time to talk to me. The nurses took their time with me to be sure I was comfortable and had the right meds to sleep. Even the cook made sure I liked the food and was willing to make something special for me to eat. This was the first and hopefully the last time I will need a detox center but if I should, I will definitely come to summerhouse. I was recently discharged from harbor village 6/5/2026....upon accepting me Delray medical informed…read morethem of my medical condition,,,I had ran out a supplies but advised medical pre hand that I had needed more.... decided to go to hospital because I needed a catheter inserted because without it I would have urinary retention..affecting my kidneys.....it took 2 weeks to get supplies...upon release they refused to give the supplies ordered strictly for me trying to send me home with 3 straight catheters in which I insert myself every 4 hrs to with draw the urine that still filled my bladder ...I had to remove the bag tonight because it was leaking while at a meeting and due to not having the supplies needed I have to go to the ER again.....their running on the bear minimum...they good staff members techs,and case managers and theripest are the best but over worked and probably under paid ....thank God I've been incarcerated most of my life that I can deal with I humanly environments.. but for those that may need a more structured treatment center harbor village is t the place for you.but all in all it's a safe place shelter wise...I don't know who the lady was that was advising tech Micky and the other guy but she said I couldn't get my property,,,refused to get me transportation home and refused to give me my medical supplies are successfully completing residential with the discharge date of 06/05/2026....it's now 06/10/2026....in a sober living house in which my aunt had to Uber me to from harbor village,,I sit on the porch waiting to go to ER.gonna have to take a buddy cause I really feel like relapsing having to go back to ER.... The tecks and nursing staff never washed their hand , The nurse would were one pair of gloves for all the clients and and touch all the door Handles to get clients from there rooms and then serve all patients water and meds without ever putting new gloves on . No vapes are allowed in the building. They keep it absolutely freezing at about 58-60 degrees. They did have any blankets and towels . They entire facility this sticky to the touch . You guys need to do better. They have no idea what they are doing with peoples medication people where passing out completely over prescribing people. If you let they they will give you meds you shouldn't even be taking .

Thinking back on this place I thought about something that they could afford and should have so I thought I would comment about it here and hopefully somehow they listen to me. So im not gonna get into specifics, but I can bet you my last dollar that this place makes A LOT of money, but its the nature of the business and they are actually doing a hell of a job with the whole program so good for them. Now to get into why I created this review/post update was to suggest something so small but yet will be very effective for patients/recovering addicts health here and overall well-being.....A Hot Chocolate Machine in the Cafeteria! (cant be too expensive to buy and maintain in the cafeteria and regardless the all around benefits from calming the patients to just having a more zen-like atmosphere, the price for this investment shouldnt even matter)...So they have a coffee machine that usually always has fresh brewed coffee available and obviously the addicts indulge in this free unlimited caffeine, some even pretend to get wired off it! Lol and they do...but if they had the option of hot chocolate available right next to the coffee machine, then the "addicts" might just turn to the chocolate if they know whats good for them! and actually it will be great for them and their recovery! Mentally and physically with absolutely no side effects. On the other hand, having just coffee available actually will have all these recovering addicts awake later in the nights and disrupt the natural flow of the way things should work plus the issue of "caffeine in excess"...So hopefully this review makes it over to the owner of this place Alicea, or BRAD! or Peter or anyone with some say and sense in this place. Evolutions Treatment Center in Miami is one of the ABSOLUTE BEST and I strongly recommend it to anyone struggling with drug addiction! In their residential facility in Miami our son was treated by caring, loving staff and everyone really wants to help. They all go above and beyond and they really understand the struggles you go through with drug addiction. When our son relapsed they were there with the support he needed. They went out of their way to get him back on track giving him extra time with his therapist to help him. Calling us to update and giving us the peace of mind that he is safe and getting the help he needs. Maria (at detox) and Aleth (at PHP & IOP) are the best therapists my son has ever had. They really made a difference in his recovery! Jennifer, the director is amazing. All of the nurses are wonderful. My sons nurse, David really helped, so caring and skilled. Ashaley, Brad, Zach, Ashley, everyone are all the absolute best and our family will never forget them. You can call them at any hour and they even answer on their day off. You really feel that you are no longer alone in helping your child. With Evolutions, you now have a team and they really want to do everything to help! Their PHP and IOP facilities are also wonderful. The PHP property is really nice and the staff is incredible. They are intuitive to what you need and would even make special arrangements for our son to see visiting family. The IOP facility is one block from the beach, so nice. My personal experience at Evolutions Treatment Center in Miami was phenomenal. From the time I entered the door I noticed there was a lot of different activities available for the patients, such as Basketball, Volleyball, Table tennis and a light weight set for those that like to stay in physical shape while in treatment. There are 3 main courses thru out the day and 2 snack times which have many nutritional options. At night the staff put together further activities such as Bingo, Jeopardy games as well DJ and movie nights on a large screen with ofcorse more snacks such as Ice cream, popcorn and other assignments of snacks. During the day the staff have an organization schedule for therapy groups which help you learn more about a variety of symptoms and how to begin building healthy coping skills. The therapists which you meet with your personally designated therapist once a week for a personal treatment plan are top notch, big shout-out to Brad and Tony!!! Upon completion you are helped to get any financial assistance you may be eligible for as well to continue within the program for levels 2,3 and 4 which you would get a greater and more in depth program of knowledge and experience. read more

not a good place the team that gave Evolutions its good name were bought out and it is just not the same I was at this circus for a short while and left due to short staffing, manipulating admissions team (Zack,Rob) who recently have targeted the state of Arkansas bringing people down to either strand them or mislead them through the recovery process they are conveniently located across the street from a liquor store where clients have left to get booze and come back sex and several other things happening there and if you three friends of mine have died two at the php fort lauderdale facility due to overdose and one they tricked down from Arkansas to the big city only to leave her hanging and this all this year (2020) I brought several of these issues to their attention and was black listed and denied help when i really needed it I have received the needed help and im doing great I also have time and date stamped photos notes with specific times and dates to back this so it is not hear say or slander. I mean you just cant make this stuff up. Great job Evolutions keep ruining lives. read more

I struggle with substance abuse for a very long time. I continuously search for solutions & could never find one. I was in & out of several different treatment center & I couldn't find what I was looking for, until I found evolutions treatment center. I'm truly grateful not only because the facilities are beautiful but because the staff loves me until I was capable of loving myself. They provided me with therapy that helped me rebuild bonds with loved ones & most importantly helped me find out who I really was & made me see how much worth I hold. With the guidance of the owners, therapist, admission coordinator, alumni, the doctors, the nurses, I was able to mold myself into the best version of myself. Throughout my journey Elisea, Gedale & Leon stuck by my side & believed & loved me until I was able to believe & love myself. Evolution Treatment Center gave me a new life. The staff is like family..the therapist are amazing. If you want a real recovery experience and a chance for long term sobriety. Evolution Treatment center is the place. When I came to Evolution I was broken and wounded emotionally going through a crisis in my marriage after 14 years it ended abruptly. I started drinking and using crack cocaine. I went on an emotional, mental spiritual spiritual. When I came to Evolutions I was wounded emotionally, I was extremely bitter and angry and in great agony. But the Therapist were like skillful surgeons who taught me how to overcome my pain, to change my perception and to take responsibility for fixing my life and my problems instead of playing the victim. I can not say enough about Evolutions treatment center. Miami and Ft. Lauderdale!! My son is there and I believe in my heart that God put Evolutions in my sons life. Everyone I have spoken to at Evolutions speak to me with kindness and genuine caring. They are not concerned with what they can get out of my son or myself but instead are concerned with my sons health and well being. He has an injury and instead of throwing him out to the world they care for him and see that he has all he needs. God truelly has blessed us with Evolutions and I can honestly say I love everyone there !! Florida Shuffle, YES!!! This is the worst place you could possibly ever send your loved one to. I know because they watched my son get high right in front of them, and he lost his life there. When he first arrived there, I was told by his "therapist," Leon, who was actually only an intern in social work, NOT counseling, that I would be allowed to have contact with my sweet boy while he was there, which was just one of the numerous lies I was told. They would not even let me talk to my beautiful boy on Christmas Day! My sweet boy was 21 years old, only there 42 days, and they billed his insurance for over 300,000 dollars. They wouldn't even notify me that my sweet boy passed...I had to hear that from a police officer. Please, please do not send your loved one here if you love them and care about their well-being! read more

Amazing treatment program! This is the only treatment center I've gone to and it made me want to change my life around. The therapist will never give up on you and food is excellent. In all honesty as long as your taking it seriously then your going to get sober. Shoutout Maria my therapist. She should be on tv for what she does. Evolutions is amazing. Evolutions treatment center, what can I say? Their program is excellent. They take you step by step through your recovery, both with substance abuse and mental health issues. Margaretta was my therapist and she worked with me with so many unresolved issues. Troys groups were excellent and straight forward. A lot of the staff here are in recovery and it is nice to know they understand. Tony is good with the tough love I needed as stubborn as I am. This is the first treatment center that didn't have me ready to immediately run out the door. read more

Where do I begin. I came to Evolutions almost two years ago! I walked in broken and lost! I am so grateful for the day I decided to go to evolutions because it forever changed my life! The entire administration, including treatment, therapy, health are top of the line. I have made so much progress recovering from my alcohol and drug use. This is my first time in rehab. I will be my last! I'm here for a 90 day program that is broken into three 30 day steps to total recovery. I arrived drunk with signs of cocaine. The detoxing was incredible. I'm learning so much and know I will complete my 90 days and remove those drugs and never return to my behavior as a raging alcoholic! Come fix your addictions. read more

When I first came to evolutions I was a little confused about the rules of this place. After a short period of time I realized all staff implement the rules for care and structure. My therapist is awesome she has opened me up to things I never even thought could be the root of my addiction and the groups are awesome they really bring you out of your shell and it helps when you speak and get things you don't really want to talk about off your chest.
