In addition, if you want to stay drama free don't enroll in the after school YMCA program through Paragon. My son was bullied at this program where other YMCA students would inform me during pick up that my son was getting bullied although their staff avoided communicating this to me. When I asked them what was done about this bullying situation, they informed NOTHING, they would write it down in their book for logging. They threatened to disconnect my needed services because of an error on their end without even communicating with me. Also, after all services were cancelled by me the following school year they proceeded to send me an obscene invoice and charge my card unwilling that I needed to fight to get removed, instead of being a professional company and admitting that they dropped the ball again, made me jump through hoops and was rude in the way they communicated this to me. For professionalism, avoid this location! YMCA overall is a great program, just not this location or the people! Last year is when this changed. They had a completely different program prior and it was run by great staff that communicated and were highly professional. Sam used to engage with the kids and parents. Now that it's run by this new team, they have poor communication skills, act irresponsible, and lack the professionalism I require in a childcare environment. Do yourself a favor and avoid.

He asked "do you like our hotels?" which felt very strange. He didn't thank us for our loyalty in being a platinum member. I chalked this up to him being new or just awkward. There were people setting up for a large party in the lobby with balloons, crock pots, and aluminum trays full of food. I don't think they were staying in the hotel. My first impression wasn't great, but I still wanted to give the hotel a chance. The layout of the room is awkward. The nightstands are tiny and with the large desk phone, nothing fits on one side of the bed. The drawer is also tiny and filled with a Bible and Book of Mormon so there is no place to put my stuff. There are only two drawers for clothes, six hangers in the closet. The air conditioner wall unit is in the corner under the refrigerator and microwave. It points at the side of the desk so the air just stays in a tiny area. The TV is on a wall parallel with the bed so it's almost impossible to watch from the bed or any other angle. The bathroom has no storage. The water pressure is so low it's almost a trickle. When we arrived, the thermostat was set to heat to 77 degrees. It was 84 degrees outside and humid. The room didn't cool down to 67 degrees until 5am in the morning. The next day I called and talked to a lady at the front desk. I asked if we could change the thermostat and she said no. I asked if they had a fan we could use because it was really warm. She said "no, sorry" and then hung up on me. After staying three nights, no one cleaned our room or changed our towels. On the morning of the fourth day, we asked at the front desk if they could clean the room and the gentleman working at the front desk seemed surprised we wanted it cleaned. He said he would put us down for a cleaning. I didn't know we had to ask for cleanings at hotels now. It's not like they're worried about COVID when no one working here is wearing a mask. When we returned in the evening, the room was still not cleaned. I went to the front desk and another gentleman working said we are scheduled for a cleaning every day. He said he would put a note in to make sure it was cleaned. I don't intend to stay here in the future, and I recommend any travelers to Jackson don't stay at this hotel. They care more about saving money than their guests. Every aspect about this hotel is a cheap as possible. Do not stay here.

This experience restored my faith in IHG. This property is clean and comfortable. I loved the outdoor patio dining. The front desk was extremely helpful. The concierge was so kind. I asked her where the closest ice machine was so I could have a drink on the patio and she got it for me instead. It's the little things! The bed was super comfy. The room has a lot of storage, and everything was cleaned well which I deeply appreciate. It's located right behind meijer and multiple restaurants and shopping.

Secondly, the technicians (only 2) seemed confused about how to open the system. And though we did offer some information given to us by the previous owners on how to turn it on, they were unable to get the waterfall and moat to work. The pool was in working order at closing last season. I told the rep on the phone that this was an infinity pool with waterfall. Someone who is familiar with this type of pool should have been sent. So I am very upset because I was charged $350, did most of the work myself, and the techs put some chemicals and turned some switches. And removed plugs of which it seems we are missing two now from the skimmers. The timers weren't set either and the screws were just sitting there. I do not think that the price is equal to what took place. $350 is the price when everything is done including removal of cover. Now we are left with a half functioning pool and will have to call another company to troubleshoot.  I expect a response from the owner of the company. As a first time customer I am disheartened. As a follow up, I had to call a different company who knew what they were doing and found that plugs were not removed from the moat and the pump was not reversed from winterization.  This is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to pay another company to finish the job.  I would like a refund

She barely said anything to me and didn't even tell me when breakfast is (I come enough but what if someone hasn't stay here before?) it's clean, and I got a nice note from housekeeping.
