My wife and I went to the spa on our 1 year anniversary, and would consider the experience Very Good overall. The reason we would not give it an excellent is only because the spa has limited amenities when compared to a full service spa (i.e. showers, robes, areas to change / lockers. For the $ we typically had received these amenities at other spas...so when compared to other spas their service / quality of massage is there, but when comparing the amenities the value proposition changes...but ONLY a little. The therapists were great, and worked well with us. and, they even popped a bottle of bubbly for our anniversary...so please take that into account when you read my comments...as they make up for their lack of amenities with service! Wanted to treat my mom to a 90 minute massage for her birthday. We were the first guests of the day and her masseuse was more than a half hour late! So unprofessional. This place is awesome! I had surgery and needed to find a place that does lymphatic massages and OMG did I find a place. I've been going to evolve spa weekly since January 2018 to present March 2018 and I've been getting my massages from Ruta. She is awesome and does amazing work. My scar tissue and swelling would've been much worse if I hadn't found this place so close to home. The regular massages are AWESOME also but for my surgery, Ruta is a pro! I have been going to Evolve Spa for a few months now and it is wonderful! Andrew and Ruta are great massage therapists. Went today and had a facial done and it was fantastic. The facial was more than just a facial. It started with a foot bath, then we talked about my skin type and decided upon which facial I would receive. Once on the table the pampering begins, deep breathing, foot massage while the mask sits on the face, then it ends with a wonderful shoulder and back massage. I am a spa junkie when we travel and the Evolve Spa treatments can hold their own against any big city spa. read more

What a great place. They could not have been more friendly. When I arrived they offered me a glass of wine or bottle of water. I went for a glass of red. I then sat down and had a very nice conversation with the staff and other customers. The vibe was very close knit and homey. There was a big bowl of fresh fruit available on the coffee table. My massage therapist, Debbie, asked some great questions before the massage and really honed in on my trouble spots. Pressure was great and she did some funky stretches that really helped. ladies beware!!!!!!! i scheduled a message, when i arrived andrew (owner/message therapist) greeted me and guided me to the room. shortly after the messge started i realized he was high as a kite. he was so high he repeatedly tripped over his feet and was slurring his speach. he could barely form a sentence. i started to become very nervous but was afraid to say anything because about the same time i started to think we may be the only ones in the facility, which was later confirmed i had been alone there with him. as the message progressed things took a turn for the worst as he repeatedly pulled my hair extremely hard as well as the sides of my breasts. he also lifted the sheet i was under completly up and stared at my breasts. thru the rest of the message i silently prayed to god and also prayed he would not leave any bruises my husband would see and question. there is much more but i think this is enough to warn ladies about this scary business. i would not write this review but i do not want any other women to encounter what i went thru. rather than an hour of relaxation i experienced an hour of pure diress. read more

While I was tending the laundry he walked across the street to ask about him getting a massage and me getting a pedicure. The girl was sitting with the appointment book in front of her and told him that he would have to "call to see if he could get an appointment". Last weekend I had a prenatal massage with Ruta, the awesome owner of Evolve, and it was awesome! The spa is so cute from the outside, and the inside is a clean and relaxing atmosphere. One of my favorite parts was the massage bed. It had a memory foam topper. Being 36 week pregnant, it means something when I say that the massage table was comfortable- trust me. :) She made it easy to relax, and was able to find my tight spots with perfect pressure. Very unprofessional!! Had appointments, walked in seemed like nobody was there. Sat for a few minutes waiting heard somebody snoring in the back that's right snoring taking a nap. Finally another worker came in had no idea what was going on. So we cancelled our 3 massages and left. Very disappointed!! The spa responded months later to my review with no valid responses . We were not 45 min early . Don't care about a insomnia person . Was no staff to even do our massages. Why was the one staff person trying to wake up the person then to do massage. Again no staff to do massages. Stuck around way longer for your staff to fix the problem. Quit making excuses and admit there was a problem. So very unprofessional. That's all on you!!!! read more

Went to this new spa in New Buffalo this week. and had their Signature Organic Facial by Lolita and a deep tissue massage by Ruta. Both were excellent! The spa is very cozy and both treatments were relaxing. Have been to a few spas in the area and like this one the best. The spa itself is very chic, and the people who work here are pro's. My wife and I were finally able to celebrate our anniversary (which was in August) due to scheduling and her birthday (which was this weekend), and we started our vacation out in New Buffalo at Evolve. I read many reviews of spas and they had the highest I could see, and we were overall not disappointed, but with one small issue which and why we didn't give 5 stars. While in the massage room, we did hear some outside noise and a ringing phone several times; so it might be worth upgrading the insulation in the room to enhance the private cozy atmosphere. We had a couples 1-hour massage with hot stones. Both of us were treated very well! My wife had several requests, and I asked for targeted work on my arms and back, and yet I felt no other areas were neglected even though my primary concerns were addressed. I had never had a hot stone massage before, and if you have trouble spots it is well worth the upgrade as it makes a noticeable difference! Both therapists were friendly, welcoming and professional. We felt very well cared for and respected while there, and would not hesitate to recommend others try out Evolve while in New Buffalo, too. We hope to return if the opportunity ever comes up again in the future, and are very appreciative of our treatment during today's visit! read more

Had a deep tissue massage there yesterday by the male therapist, I can't remember his name. For years, while vacationing in the area, I've gone to new buffalo inn and spa. Never again! I loved this place and I found that he did great work and the price was reasonable---and I'm very particular about massages. I look forward to going back next year, if not sooner! read more

Giving this spa one star, because it smelled great in the reception area, which is as far as we got. I spoke with the owner scheduled an appointment for three massages for myself and two friends in October, 2017. We were all in town celebrating a friend's birthday, and this was to be the final activity of our trip before heading home. When we arrived, they only had scheduled two of the massages and only had two techs there. Our only option was to come back late in the afternoon for one of the massages, and we had to be back in the road at that time. It was very disappointing, and even more disappointing that the staff did nothing to resolve the problem (such as call in another staff person or push later clients back). We didn't want one friend to be left out while the other two enjoyed massages, so we all left. It was a poor ending to a great weekend. read more

Alex is amazing!!! She came out to our weekend rental house and provided a 60 minutes Swedish massage for myself and it was outstanding. Then provided my father in law with a 60 minute Swedish massage and he loved it. Then Alex gave my 30 week pregnant wife a 60 minute massage. Back to back to back and all 3 of us were 100% satisfied. This spa is top notch. Massage is more than a massage . it was a real healing touch in finding trigger spots and tight muscles. I have had a history of massages and I prefer this massage far exceeds other providers. It was in the way the massage was given and their touch working my problems, unlike others when I was so sore from the massage I had to wait two days to move again. it was therapeutic and knowledgeable if that makes sense. I also got my first facial. That was pure joy and my skin has a new look. My son gave me the summer splash as a gift. I have been coming to Evolve for several years when I'm in town. Massage therapists will come to your house for $30, which is very nice if you have more than one person needing a massage. I had another wonderful massage with Andrew today. Using stretching and traction in addition to his regular deep tissue routine. He is a total pro. I have been going to Evolve Spa for more than a year now, primarily for treatment for back spasms. Ruta (or as I like to call her the Muscle Magician) is an excellent clinical massage therapist. I've tried other massage therapists in the area, but after my first visit with Ruta, I knew I found my home. I've also have chemical peels with Lolita, the esthetician. Her techinique for facials is unbelievable, like no other facial I've had. I always leave feeling like I look younger. Laura is the manicurist at Evolve Spa. She does a fabulous pedicure (the only service I've had from Laura). I have chronically sore feet and Laura makes them feel sooooo good that I leave pain free.
