Without a doubt, this is the best barbershop on the West Coast. I've been in California for over five years now and I haven't came close to finding a barbershop this talented. The staff is very meticulous when it comes to haircuts, that's why you may find the wait to be a little longer than usual, they actually take time and give you a quality haircut, unlike the other ten-minute barbershops. Not only do the barbers connect with you on a personal level, they are always very respectful and family oriented when it comes to new customers. The other negative reviews on this page are irrelevant, they are only to discredit the great work these barbers have accomplished. If you want a quality haircut, a memorable time, and a great atmosphere with even better company, Pacific Coast Barbershop is the place to go. After going to Great Clips for years I finally decided to start looking for a good barber shop. After hearing about Pacific Coast Barber Shop by a family member, I decided to give it a shot. I drove an hour to get there and that hour was 100% worth it. Giuseppe cut my hair and you can tell he is passionate about his craft. Since I have never really styled my hair before I told him to do whatever he thought would look best, and he nailed it. I've gotten multiple compliments on my hair and I couldn't be happier with it! He also trimmed and lined up my beard which was on point as well. I was very satisfied with his work. Thanks Giuseppe! I will definitely be back again to get another cut from you. Hands down one of my favorite Barbershop in North county. The Gentleman inside are friendly welcoming right at front; let alone they respect your time one of the most important things. I usually go by appointment and get my haircuts since I'm very specific with what I want and who I want to cut my hair. At Pacific Coast I don't have to even worry on who is in that day to get a haircut. They have plenty of barbers which they all do a fantastic job. One thing that I definitely think that sets them apart from other barbershops it being the customer service they deliver and the quality of work they put out and to top it off they offer a Hot Towel to relax your scalp from a clean shave. Found this barber shop by accident after getting my hair cut for a year at the MCX on base, ever since, been getting all my cuts at this shop. The environment has nothing but good vibes and always playing great music, makes you feel really relaxed. All the barbers definitely give dope cuts but I always go with Tia and she never disappoints with super clean fades and close attention to detail! The difference was noticed by all my friends after receiving just "ok" cuts at the MCX to my new cuts from Tia and they all ask where I get my cuts at now. Highly recommend!! read more

After receiving a pretty atrocious haircut on base, Diego - one of the barbers here at Evolved Barbershop - performed what he described as "a Christmas miracle." Honestly, he did excellent work, and cut me a discount as well. He took genuine ownership of someone else's mistake and earned a return customer. The general feel at the shop is welcoming, calm, and fun. Anyone can get their haircut here, and feel good about it! The barbers are kind and talkative, but most importantly hardworking and skilled. Great barber shop, a lot of barber shops around base are super cookie cutter assembly-line style just pushing out mediocre fades but these barbers really take pride in there work and it shows there all very friendly they don't take customers for granted! I personally go to Erica for my cuts but all the barbers there give quality cuts. Also I don't have kids but I have seen the way they work with kids and it's impressive. read more
