I stopped in here during a recent trip to Oceanside after a recommendation from a friend. The shop was clean, well kept, and had good music playing. Everyone was really nice and greeted me with a smile and a handshake. Mike had a few guys waiting for him, so I sat down with Guiseppe. Guiseppe did a wonderful job and gave me exactly what I wanted. One of, if not the best cut I've had. The straight razor on the neck was a nice touch, it felt great. Mike was doing a fade and design on another guy and it looked great. I went it checked this out today and this place is on point! I like that it is a simple, clean, straight up barbershop. I got a fade from Mick today and was really happy with how much attention to detail he took. This is a place for a quality haircut. Prices were $20 for a fade ($15 for military) and for a straight razor it's only $5 more. Definitely worth it and I'll probably make this my go-to place. My man went to go get his hair cut here and the staff was very welcoming but a lot of people are in training so you have to be patient. This shop has potential to be great but they need to work on not pushing hairlines too far back.I would suggest going to Mike. read more

I've been to several barber shops in North County & I gotta say.. no other shop compares! The barbers here are all dressed professionally (not wearing baseball caps & T-shirts). They don't play a bunch of rap music (I actually enjoyed listening to the Jazz music.. sets up a nice vibe in the shop). And the barbers here give the best cuts (Neck Shave Standard with every cut!). My regular barber is Giuseppe, but Mike has cut my hair when Seppe wasn't there & it's always a great cut. Visited yesterday 7/7/18 for a skin fade. Shout out to Jr and Mike! Jr cut my hair, and Mike provided input and insight to the different types of cuts, styles and the different terms that go along with it. Jr was chill, friendly, and attentive. Not to mention he was gentle with his tools; I didn't feel like my scalp was being attacked with sharp metal objects repeatedly. He asked me for feedback and was willing to comply with any changes I wanted before the final cut, and that to me is a good indicator of a great barber. The process took a little longer than I am used to considering I barely have hair, but it also shows that they are very detail oriented and want to make sure that my visit wasn't just a quick chop job. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. The cut cost me $20 before the tip, but if you're active duty it'll start at $15. I normally don't trust anybody besides myself to touch my hair, but I'll definitely be coming back once my hair grows out in a week and a half or so! read more

I started coming here when the owner Mike left top notch. He always hooks it up because I'm a loyal customer. I like the vibe and the location of this shop. My haircut is usually an easy one so it doesn't take too long but Mike takes the time to do it right. Some of the other barbers are okay they don't make much conversation but at the end of the day as long as I get a nice hair cut that's all I really care about. Went here for a Haircut Christmas Eve asked for a comb over with a fade asked about it first barber said they knew what they were doing and my hair turned out like shit horrible fade not even a real fade plus butchered my hair couldn't even style it they cut it way to short on the top and cut it more of a under cut style honestly worst haircut experience ever., quick and sloppy plus I had my brother with me we arrived 25 min before closing and they waited to mention they couldn't cut his hair till I was done cause they wanted to close even tho we walked in 25min before closing ., what a bummer... luckily hair grows back and ill be able to get this fixed the Proper way a cut should be .., Higher people who enjoy cutting hair not people that half ass their job (: read more
