Undergoing a deep plane lift, brow lift and eye bleph is a big decision, what I needed was a surgeon who was not only highly skilled, but someone I could truly trust and that's exactly what I found in Dr. Vincze. After seeing photos from a family event, I knew I needed a refresh!! I initially went in to see what could be done with my neck and loose/sagging skin around my face. The team showed me pictures of certain areas of my face and with Dr. V's recommendation I added the brow lift and I'm extremely happy I did. What stood out to me the most was how Dr. V addressed my every question, concern and detail I mentioned, and that those concerns were taken seriously. The level of attentiveness gave me confidence in making my decision to move forward with the surgery. And the results...absolutely beyond what I had hoped for. Their invoices are not clear, either, so to decipher how many units you actually got is impossible from the invoice alone (previous invoice stated exactly how many units were administered).

Jessica was my esthetician. She talked me through the process and evaluated my skin as I asked her questions. She had the greatest demeanor and easy to get along attitude. But when it came to the actual process, she created a relaxing, quiet mood. She was gentle with the extractions and provided delicately firm massages. Talking about massages, the table was a heated massage table. Nice. I also added a hand treatment. After the hydra facial, I was shown the water. It was cloudy, not too bad as I was told. She advised me on some products they offer, not a hard sell pitch. I declined; she didn't hard press which I appreciate. My face was glowing (luminous and rosy) and seemed less poof-y afterwards. My hands felt more moisturized. The dry skin on my inner palm gently sloughed off. The next day, they looked revitalized. Pricing is comparable or less expensive to other local places. The facility is clean and is gorgeously designed. It has a calming white color scheme. Giving off modern, posh vibes without the pretentiousness or clinical feeling. Then it was sweat, then just oh well. I'd asked for a copy of the ingredients list which I never received from her but that Shawna later provided. Then a from desk girl booked me for another facial while I was at an appt. but did not check my treatment plan nor confirm with me what she was booking. So I had two hydrafacials two months in a row when I alternate between hydra and diamond glow. At that point; I had a good conversation over the phone with Samantha but she didn't offer to cover my next facial and that would have been the right thing to do. At my next appt. the same front desk girl interjected herself into a conversation that didn't include her in addition to other of unprofessional behaviors. I only spoke to Laura about this. That brings us to my 8/12 Wednesday apt. Upon checkout I asked that my beauty bank payment ($350 per month) be pulled and applied to my treatment. Something they informed me was an option in the past. Then the system is texting me ALL weekend saying my payment won't go through. I literally had an emailed receipt showing I paid it. Early Monday morning a gal from Elk Grove calls and tells me I need to provide a copy of said receipt. Now I have "DO NOT CALL" on my account. This is due to having ADHD which causes troubles with self regulation. Not only that but I come from a 32+ yrs experience in strong customer service. I prefer to speak with people I've met in person or have spoken to before. It saves time explaining when there is rapport. I basically tell her that their system created the receipt so she should be able to pull it up and they need to figure it out. She wasn't a mgr and it's not proper customer service to request proof from a customer. I was offended and bothered to be called so early. Nor is it my job to help you figure it out. I'm not being paid to do that. She is. So I call Sac knowing it's the main hub. Was told she'd have Samantha reach out to me. Which rubbed me the wrong way because I don't want to talk to the person whose fault it is that her staff can't do their job properly. Let alone she may have been the one to actually have checked me out because the girl said her name was Sam. I reach out to Shawna on Tuesday. For 4 days Samantha is texting me saying she wants to speak with me and is going to call me. And when she finally does it's to tell me that I need to seek my services elsewhere because they have a "no swearing" policy!? I'm like "What are you even talking about?" She says all calls are recorded and I swore and made a personal threat to an employee. Um.. both gals I spoke to I had never heard of before. Oh you mean when I said "It's gonna be bad for everyone at this point bc I'm just gonna get in touch with Shawna." So now we're twisting my words into threats? All while I'd already called EDH and said I'm over this and just pull the payment again. You'd think after 9 yrs of loyalty and Shawna herself being your original injector you'd get an apology, accountability and integrity; but no! I guess this is what happens when you're a corporate sell out. Is Samantha a corporate mgr who came with the deal? It shouldn't matter. Shawna should have the balls to reach out herself and protect her OG clients, as she likes to call us. So if you're looking for a med spa where mental health issues are met with understanding then this isn't it. One who values its clients? Nope! Where accountability and customer service are integral in day to day operations? No! This ain't it! Bullying and rejection from the place I go every month for self care? That's quite literally the opposite of what med spas are supposed to stand for. Now my Esthetician will be the one to miss out on a client who never tips less than 20%. What does all of this say to your employees with mental health issues? What does it say to perspective clients?

I also felt uncomfortable being lectured while I was scheduling the appointment initially about my treatment timing when I had already explained I received my last treatment in a different location on my face 2.5 months ago. I completely understand policies, but a small amount of flexibility in this situation would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, this experience makes me hesitant to return, which is disappointing because I really like the injector at this location.

My hubs was hesitant to come back after his last session and especially after my review (he didn't know I was writing) but Elena & Jennifer helped him feel at ease of coming back and making it extremely flexible to rebook an appointment to come back in. Hubs went back to get the much needed deep pressure massage from Jennifer at The Spa Simply Skin. Both Elena and Jennifer were present to greet him. The ambiance of the room was serene as it was before. He keeps telling me about the nice Buddha in the massage room. Jennifer asked if the headrest area was ok was comfortable this time before proceeding. This time she asked about the massage pressure and if it was firm enough. She worked on getting his knots out which was greatly needed. She used a tool on his hands up/down his forearm that he said made him feel really good. He does repetitive work with his hands (handy electrician) and this helped relieve tension.
