It's was Greek for me, at least for this day. I went through the drive thru, and ordered the Mad Greek Platter with Hummus as my side item. This platter contains a lot of food - nicely sized skewers of Chicken Souvlaki and Pork Souvlaki, a handful of rectangular slices of Gyro, a wedge of Spanakopita, a good sized Greek Salad with house dressing, a small container of Tzatziki, and an equally small container of Hummus. The items on this platter were average or less, except for the Chicken Souvlaki (which was very nice) and failed to reach the quality levels achieved by the best Greek restaurants in the area - Mythos in Greensboro, Grecian Corner (though the gyro here is not all that good anymore) and Silvia's in Winston, and Alex's in Lewisville, among others. The salad was just OK, with a rather bland feta, those horrible sliced red onion, and the house Greek dressing was too sweet for my taste. The Spanakopita was more pastry than filling, and the filling was more than a little dry, which happens too often when the pastry is the enclosed triangular shape. The gyro meat was typical of what is served often in this area - a loaf of minced beef and lamb that is sliced in those rectangular pieces. This can be good or not, but it is far removed from its authentic Greek roots where slices of meat (chicken, pork, or maybe lamb) are stacked on a vertical rotisserie for cooking, and then sliced or cut into chunks resulting in a high quality of flavor and texture, which is not the case with what is offered here! The Hummus and Tzatziki were stone cold, freshly removed from refrigeration. The slices of barely warm pita were wrapped in paper thus assuring it would quickly become a bit soggy! Just like High point location.. this one is good too ! So much variety. So tasty and great prices , what's not to love! Lunchtime it's hopping . Luckily we got in before the crowd. Same set up as High point , order then they bring it to you. I got the delicious chicken souvlaki pita with a side of fries. Nice big soft pita. Lots of chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and taziki . The fries were nice hot, crispy and seasoned. So good . My friend got the same and loved it too. The cheeseburger pita also full of meat and lettuce and tomato, their pita is so good, wish I knew where they bought it. The Greek salad , your usual, feta, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce. Great service--even when you're in a hurry. The food is delicious consistently. I love the Mad Greek Platter-- two meals for the price of one for me, and they let me order double gyro meat or double chicken instead of the pork if I'm not eating pork at the time. Terrible customer service! I called this restaurant three times last week to speak with someone regarding a catering order. The first time I was put on hold for approximately ten minutes then disconnected. The second time I was told to call back at a different time. The third call I was told that everyone was too busy to speak with me at that time. I provided my name and telephone number for the supervisor who was going ti call me back. The Greek salad had potential but the lettuce was shredded into ribbons and I think it had iceberg in it. I really don't like lettuce that is shredded into ribbons. I really hate to rate this location low, but I must. I ordered the pork souvlaki as carry out. I was looking forward to the tender juicy chunks of pork. It was a total let down when I opened the box and took the 1st bite. The pork was so overcook that I could hardly chew it. Total disappointment. I threw in an extra star as this is not the normal.
