To start with before you go here, this is a diner so don't expect it to be something that it is not. Diners are great places to get good food, good service, and at a good price. We have had this on the list for a while and our friends live close to here and come here for breakfast so we decided to give it a go. There is parking in front and on the side, we walked in and were told we could sit anywhere, so we chose one of the booths. We looked over the menu they have breakfast on one menu and lunch on another. I decided on lunch and got a cheeseburger and fries and iced tea. My wife got a BLT fries and iced tea. The food came out quickly and my tea was filled again without having to be asked. My burger was juicy, the meat was cooked well and the bun was soft. The fries had just come out of the fryer and were tasty as well. Service was friendly and the cost was decent.

Simple little diner in rural Hall area near our home. We were told by friends to come check it out. I ordered the BLT and fries with unsweet iced tea. Fries were absolutely perfect, and a BLT was nice and simple with good bacon, a little on the over crispy side, but hey I didn't complain. Service was very friendly and the place was clean with local art spewed about. Not exciting.. but this place doesn't demand to be exciting, it's here to be dependable and none assuming. I would definitely come back for my blt and fries.

I wouldn't say the food is what makes this neighborhood diner worth stopping into, it's more so the affordable prices and friendly service that sells it, granting locals to return to it. I stopped by here to get a double burger to take out after buying an SUV in Walkertown. The girl upfront (pictured) not only took my order with a smile, she offered me a seat and then take-out menus when she learned I wanted just a burger to go. I, then, stepped outside to make some phone calls (and practice social-distancing, since it was packed with patrons dining indoors) and she brought my burger out to me in a bag. Very warm and friendly service! That, alone, will be why I return to try more of their food since I wasn't that impressed by the burger's bland taste but was impressed by the staff. I just hope that the next meal that I try here is actually SEASONED. Nothing is worse than food with no taste.

Decent food like you would expect, but nothing exceptional. Come here for a no frills experience.

This place was the Piedmont Café, and before that is was Don's BBQ. I ordered a Pita Burger with crispy fries, and it was $6.25. Instead of mayo on the burger, I got tzatziki sauce and it was very good. The waitress said most of the menu was homemade, and she said even the gravy for breakfast is homemade. I'll try this place again for sure. She also said the owner is Greek.

The customer service was great everyone was friendly, welcoming, and laid-back, which made for a great experience. This was honestly one of the best slices of pizza I've had in a while! The crust wasn't too thick or too thin, it was just right. Everything was incredibly fresh and served piping hot, and my pizza came out in about seven minutes after ordering. I'm not sure if they season or marinate the spinach, but it was absolutely delicious and added so much flavor! The prices are very reasonable and affordable, especially for the quality of the food. I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the new staff could use some improvement. They used to have a very pleasant young lady working the register, but the current employees have made the experience much less enjoyable. I'm not sure if the young man and young woman working there now are the owner's kids helping out for the summer, but if they are, they need more customer service training. The young man, in particular, always seems to have an attitude and often cuts customers off while they're speaking. During my last visit, he nearly dropped my bag of food while handing it through the drive-thru window. I tried to ask for ketchup when he slammed the window when he reopened after I knocked on I ordered three meals with fries, and he came back with only two ketchup packets. The food is definitely worth trying, but be prepared for customer service that can make you feel like they're doing you a favor.

The Spanakopita is also very traditionally prepared, simple and so tasty with yogurt dip on the side another good choice. The Chicken Souvlaki is also quiet flavorful, the chicken is grilled tender and nicely seasoned, served with your choice of side and yogurt dip with pita. The young lady who took my order was new, and she couldn't have been sweeter. There was some confusion while she was taking my order, but that's understandable. We all have to learn somewhere. The manager stepped in, explained she was new, corrected the order with the kitchen, and we even had a nice conversation while I waited. So imagine my surprise when I got home and discovered I still had the wrong entrée. Even more disappointing, every single side - french fries, onion rings, fried squash- was cold or lukewarm. Then there was the fish sandwich. When I order a fish sandwich from a local deli, I'm expecting an actual fish fillet. It never crossed my mind that it would be one of those square, processed fish patties. Had I known that, I would not have ordered it. And we didn't eat it. The most frustrating part is that none of these issues were because the cashier was new. The manager knew about the mistake, corrected it herself, and personally packed the order. Somehow, it still wasn't right. I truly believe in supporting local businesses, but local will never trump quality. I can overlook an honest mistake. I have a much harder time overlooking multiple mistakes in one order and food that simply wasn't worth the price.

Ok-No lie...as soon as I began to type this review my mouth began to salivate. My salivary glands are proof that just thinking about the deliciousness that is created here has left a permanent biological imprint-in my mouth! I'm becoming addicted to the flavors I'm becoming concerned...for other restaurants near YAMAS! Ordering online through their website is super easy and the order is always ready on time. I ordered take out today as it is located close to my work and in an easy to navigate location. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture because I had already eaten half and saved the other half in my work fridge for tomorrow's lunch AND dinner-that's how big the portions are! My order (create a bowl-this would be considered a grain bowl but they also offer half and half bowls with a grain and choice of lettuce) consisted of: -Dips and spreads: tahini hummus, tzatziki cucumber -Protein: chicken souvlaki (it was EXTRA seasoned and tender today! But it always is:) -Toppings (my favorite part and it's fun to switch them up!): cauliflower tabbouleh, organic quinoa (damn-I didn't need auto correct for that-small victories in life are what's up), marinated chickpeas, marinated mushrooms, spicy cherry peppers, roasted garlic (my absolute favorite along with marinated mushrooms and spicy cherry peppers), corn salad. *I sometimes substitute with the seasoned fries because they are the skinny fries and are the bomb. I find it hard to trust someone who doesn't like a beautifully seasoned skinny fry. Not done! Sauces: lemon/lime tahini mild (this was my first time trying it and it fit perfectly with the more nuttier flavors as well with the chicken) as it cut with acidity! Also I had the chug cilantro spicy jalapeño (probably my favorite thing in this menu). It must be said that the prices here are pretty dope compared to any restaurant today. Especially compared with another "similar" known restaurant that doesn't offer nearly as many authentic choices. As mentioned above, the bowl I ordered today will provide me with three HEALTHY and NUTRITIOUS and simply clean meals. They could make a killing creating a meal subscription. It would be a 5 star review if not for the chicken in my wrap. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the driest chicken I have ever eaten in my life. It was truly a struggle to chew it, and it's so sad because the other components could have made it great. There was also zero spice to the wrap, despite the name.
