Quick serve Greek, but the food is not at all "quick" tasting. I had a falafel pita that was moist and delicious. The tsaziki sauce was garlicky and flavorful and it had lots of lettuce and tomato and peppers. Very fresh. Burger and fries were good too. This is a great place to grab something a bit healthier in the "eat quick" world. My kids were in VBS and we were on night 3 of the summer heat wave that left me not wanting to cook and heat my house up any more than it already was. We couldn't think of what to grab, and on a whim I suggested Mad Greek. This was my first time eating at this location, and it was basically what I had expected. When it comes to Greek food, I have a personal area favorite, and it isn't Mad Greek. When the food doesn't taste like my favorite, I am a little disappointed. The food at Mad Greek is good, and I enjoyed my meal, but the salad dressing is very bland in my personal opinion. I use a lot of Greek dressing on my Greek meals and I was a bit disappointed if I am honest. If you like Greek food this is the place for you. You order at the counter and they bring it out which is fine. There are both booths and tables well spaced. We had the combo platter and the gyro platter. Both servings were huge. We brought food home for lunch. The accompanying salad was very fresh and had plenty of feta cheese. Busy little gem in Kernersville, with a sister store in high point at the palladium. We had a party of 8 and got there right before the rush. Orders were taken fast, friendly, and delivered quickly. Most of us got one of their many platters. We tried vegetarian which includes felafel and spinach pie plus other items, combination platter includes 3 different types of souvlaki meat, rotisserie chicken platter, spaghetti and meatballs, gyro platter with beef souvlaki , meatball sub, Philly cheesesteak, and at the far end I couldn't tell what they ordered. You'll see in the pictures generous portions. It's good food, but not great food. This is a good place to stop and eat. Can't ask for better staff - they'll put Chick-fil-A to shame with their good manners. My only negative is it's not the best food I've tasted. Good, just not great. read more

Remember "the good old days" of Yelping about the food and service? Now, sadly, safety is such a concern, that I think that needs to come first. So here goes. My son and I met here for lunch today. We went inside to order and sat outside to eat. They are practicing VERY good Covid safety measures. They have tables and booths marked DO NOT USE so there is 6' distancing. They also have 6' distance stickers on the floor. All workers had on masks and gloves and they have touchless payment methods for credit cards. I haven't eaten inside any restaurants since Covid started and I've only recently started doing takeout. I'm still not doing fast food. Paranoid? Maybe. However, I would feel completely safe eating inside this location. They are very courteous and even checked on us outside, to see if we needed anything. The food was fantastic and the portions are very generous! We both got the Authentic Gyro platters with Greek green beans. Delish!! read more

Its hard to find true authentic Greek food, but this place does it right. There lamb is excellent. I really enjoyed the baklava. My only problem is my eyes are bigger then my stock... so I 'poor me' I had to bring home left overs. :-) They also have a drive through. Rather then fast food at some huge chain I get great food at a good price. read more

Went to MG for first time today. Place was fairly busy for lunch. I was greeted right away and my order taken. Food took less than 10 minutes to be made, packed and delivered to me as I waited. We ordered to go two combo plates so we could sample everything, along with sides of rice, fries, the Greek salads and an additional hummus appetizer. The definite highlights were the Greek salad- absolutely awesome, the taziki sauce- again awesome, gyro, the rice and the quick counter service. The only mehs were the chicken and pork kabobs....I had heard such great things about their marinated chicken and just didn't find this to be anything special...not bad, but not wow. Tasted like something I could make- meh. Same with the pork. The hummus appetizer I thought was overpriced- 4 slices pita and two little containers of hummus- I got more bread than that with my entree and will remember that for next time. So while I wasn't blown away this time, I will return based on the great service, the items I did really like, it's location, and this being one of the healthier meal options in Kville right now. Ok..... I'm from CA where they have far better Greek cuisine. What authentic Greek place serves pre sliced gyro meat that are all the same shape? They then slap it on the grill so it's nice and greasy. Thank goodness they have paper towels on the tables to soak up all the grease. The Greek salad has green peppers on it????? and it is made with shredded lettuce. Guess they're too lazy to chop so they put it through a good processor. One would think the dressing would have a nice tangy vinegar taste to it. NOT! It's sweet! Everything needs salt to kill the sugary taste. The only thing that is good is the taziki. The employees are nice and considerate but don't waste your time or money (that is if you have any tastebuds). It's atrocious!! read more

This was my second time at this chain restaurant. The food was really really good and the service was outstanding. They where very busy but handled everyone fast. The only issue I had was I had a 20$ gift card that I tried to use but the girl behind the register said it declined. I paid with my bank card and moved on. I checked the balance when I got home and she did charge the card. It looks like she must have voided the transaction but the charge still isn't back in the card. 3.5 stars. It's a definite upgrade from fast food, but it's not the most authentic nor the best "Greek" I've ever had. But it's affordable, and the portions are big. I really like their tzaziki sauce, fries, gyro and spanakopita. Their chicken souvlaki is pretty good too, mostly because I drench it in an extra order of tzaziki; otherwise, the chicken can be dry. Their falafels are mehhh, but falafels aren't really Greek anyway. The servers are nice, but have a tendency to disappear. Opa! On a scale of Greece's financial stability to their claim to be the originator of the Olympics, Mad Greek Grill is defon the medal podium. They are right off of Business 40 and a no-brainer stop if you're in the area. I just happened to find this gem on a Yelp! search (of course!); so, go Yelp! Food is excellent, fresh, authentic, and super-reasonable. Portions are generous and it's a clear value. The gyro meat is delicious as are the dolmades. The Mad Greek Salad is huge and delicious. The dressing is house made. The inside is bright, clean, spacious, and very relaxed and welcoming. There's also a really nice outdoor seating set up. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive without being annoyingly so. They have desserts as well but I did not try them.
