The chicken gyro was ok! The food is very over priced for what you get. The chicken was a little dry, I eat Mediterranean food quite often. And I was so shocked, I've never seen where a side or even 2 comes with your entree, especially for the prices they have. It cost $3.99 to add a side or salad. After I already paid $10 just for a small gyro at lunch time!!!!! The gyro also could have used more tzatziki sauce . The buffalo chicken wrap I wouldn't recommend. They left off the buffalo sauce, the main ingredient and when I asked the lady could we just have it on the side she said it would be extra. What?!!! Honestly, I wasn't satisfied when I left and I drove a few miles off the highway to get to this establishment.

Love trying the different greek places around town and while this isn't my favorite, the tzatziki was SO good and the rest of the food was pretty good. We got an appetizer of tzatziki and falafel which my daughter loved and i wasn't expecting for it to come with pita so that was a pleasant surprise . My husband and I each got a platter. I got the chicken souvlaki and he got the pork. The amount of food you get is a good amount: protein, pita, salad, tzatziki and a side. I do wish the meat was a little more flavorful and I felt the pork was kind of dry. Like I said earlier the tzatziki was amazing! I got the pasta salad side which was kind of bland but my husband got the Greek green beans and he loved them. We got it to go but service was quick and I noticed the inside was very clean

24 Feb 2020; first visit to this restaurant. I have driven by many times and never thought twice about stopping by. But today I had the exploring bug so I figured why not. I have visited a similar place in Rochester Minnesota. It's an older place but clean and orderly and appears to have that hometown flavor. It does not have table service so you need to order at the counter. The staff are professional and knowledgeable about their foods. I chose the philly cheese steak just to see what it would be like here and it is a generous portion wit h a great taste! I would certainly recommend anyone try this place

Greek salad with Chicken Souvlaki added. Pretty good, nothing amazing.

The Greek Grill provides you with a pretty baseline Greek experience. The menu is extremely similar to other Greek places in the area, particularly Mad Greek in High Point which even shares that Zeusy logo on the front. I asked if the two restaurants were related some way, and the guy at the counter didn't know so I just moved on with ordering my lunch. I got a Greek salad with chicken souvlaki added. It was really overpriced at 13 bucks in my opinion, especially considering there was a rotisserie chicken salad option with similar topping for 9 bucks. I didn't see that until after I had already ordered. Oh well. Typically the souvlaki is better anyway. In this case... it didn't have a whole lot of flavor. Overall the salad was pretty meh, and not as good as other places in the immediate area. It could have used a lot more feta cheese to help zip up the flavor, I actually added salt and pepper trying to give it a punch to a little effect. Even swimming it in the Greek dressing on the table wasn't doing much. Ultimately, I don't think I'll be back, but maybe some of their other entrees are better choices.

Service was prompt and friendly. The Greek salad was great! The chicken kabobs were also good as well as the taziki. The pasta salad was a bit bland. Fries and mozzarella sticks were good but basic. Husband didn't really like his gyro. It was thin like deli meat and not off a spit like we are used to. Inside, floors were sticky and there were ants on the wall by our booth. There was a drive through and a pretty large menu to choose from.

Small place in Clemmons, needed a quick bite, pretty quite inside. Basic tables and chairs. No frills. Menu looked good . Went with my boss , we both picked the chicken souvlaki and got a fries to share. Honestly I've had better souvlaki, but it wasn't awful. It was fresh and a decent size portion. Pita was nice and soft. The fries were better! Service was kinda eh. But was quick and tide us over for what we needed.

The chicken souvlaki on pita was almost as good as Grecian Corner. Delighted to have a drive-up window for safe pickup!

Pretty low quality Greek-ish food. Strange mix of Greek and southern diner. Edible but wouldn't return.

We were running errands and in the general area of Olive Tree Deli when my wife recalled the original location is in Winston. We enjoy there newer Olive Tree Diner at the Colin Creek Golf Course in Mocksville. We decided to check it out and arrived close to 9:30 am. We both agreed the building looks like a former Taco Bell. There is adequate parking and it is easy to find. Although we only perused the breakfast menu, we saw the menu board behind the counter featuring lunch and dinner options. We both agreed we need to come back and check out the rest of the menu. We ended up ordering breakfast. The man at the counter was friendly and efficient. My wife ordered the 3-egg omelet with bacon, no cheese. She requested sliced tomatoes instead of potatoes and toast. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a bun. The prices are extremely reasonable and the place appears to be clean and taken care of. We took a seat and there was a steady stream of customers. Our food took a bit to arrive and my wife was immediately underwhelmed with her food. Granted, the prices are very inexpensive, but the omelet was very small and simply underwhelming. She also felt the tomatoes were too ripe. The menu for lunch and dinner options sounded much more appealing to us. We decided we would be willing to come back and try again but not for breakfast. Also, we recommend not coming here with any expectation it is anything like the location in Mocksville. Our experience in Mocksville has always been great - completely different vibe.

So when I discovered Halal Food 2 Go parked at 815 Waughtown Street in Winston-Salem, I wasn't just pleasantly surprised -- I was genuinely moved. Over six years and countless visits later, this orange truck has earned a permanent place in my heart, my stomach, and my weekly routine. And I say this with full confidence: this is the best food truck in North Carolina. This is not watered-down, play-it-safe street food. The menu at Halal Food 2 Go is a genuine celebration of authentic halal cuisine, and every dish is made with the kind of care you'd expect from a family that has been perfecting these recipes for generations. The chapli kebab is a masterpiece -- fragrant, perfectly spiced, with a beautifully seared exterior and a juicy, complex interior that reminds you why this dish has endured for centuries. The seekh kabobs over rice are equally incredible, layered with deep flavor and finished with that signature white sauce that ties everything together. And the classic chicken or lamb over rice? An absolute staple. Tender, well-seasoned meat over fluffy, fragrant rice, served with fresh salad and soft, pillowy pita bread -- it's a complete meal that satisfies on every level. The portions are generous, the price is unbeatable, and the quality never, ever wavers. In a world where restaurants peak and fade, where quality slips the moment the hype dies down, Halal Food 2 Go stands in a category of its own. For over six years, every single visit has delivered the same exceptional standard -- the same bold flavors, the same fresh ingredients, the same pride in every plate. That kind of consistency isn't luck. It's a commitment, and this family honors it every single day the truck is open. Whether it's a quiet Tuesday afternoon or a packed Friday lunch rush, you know exactly what you're getting -- and it's always outstanding. What truly elevates this experience beyond just great food is the family behind it. Hamad and the crew are some of the warmest, most accommodating people you'll ever meet at a food truck -- or anywhere, for that matter. They treat every customer like a regular, even on your very first visit. They're generous, kind, and genuinely happy to be there serving you. In a city that's still discovering its food culture, this truck brings not just incredible meals but real human connection. That combination of great food and great people is rare, and it's exactly why I keep coming back year after year. On top of everything else, this truck operates with impressive efficiency. The turnaround on orders is remarkably quick -- no long waits, no confusion, no stress. And the fact that you can call ahead at (336) 934-1100 to place your order makes this one of the most convenient dining options in Winston-Salem, full stop. Open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 AM and Sundays from 11:00 AM, there's almost always a window to stop by and get your fix. Yes, it's takeout only -- no tables, no chairs, no frills. But that's the beauty of it. This is honest, soulful food served straight from the source, the way street food is meant to be experienced. Grab your plate, find a spot in the sun, and eat like a New Yorker. Some of the most memorable meals don't happen in fancy dining rooms -- they happen at a little orange truck on Waughtown Street, made by people who genuinely love what they do. Don't walk past it. Stop, order, and thank yourself later.
