    Seafood Risotto Small

Very bright and vibrant layout, our waitress was super pleasant and super attentive. Met up with a few clients for a late lunch and they picked this restaurant for the location being close to their lodging. The menu had a lot of great items to choose from. It was a tough to choose there was so many items I wanted to try. Everyone ordered something different from what I can see and everything looked really good. I can only write on what I ordered and it was the seafood risotto. I ordered the half portion only. I enjoyed the dish very much and now that I've been here I've bookmarked the restaurant for my next travel to this area.

I wanted to eat Italian and we found this place while we were exploring. Once we got there, we were seated right away. We ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer and it came out pretty quickly. It was shredded with bits of prosciutto but I'm not sure what the dressing was for it. I enjoyed it and it was enough for three people. I like that they have lunch and dinner portion. I ordered the shrimp scampi lunch portion and my sister ordered the gnocchi lunch portion. The shrimp scampi was the perfect portion for me and there was probably like five shrimp or so! They didn't skimp on the shrimp which I really appreciate. The gnocchi looked good and my sister finished her dish and had no complaints. The mushroom ravioli was also ordered and that was the regular dinner portion. The ravioli were huge but it was completely finished. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking out this place if you're in the area and want Italian food.

3.5 stars if I could. Overall, the food was a little bit higher and chain Italian food. The service was fantastic very timely, Very kind waiter. Refilled waters brought the food in a promptly manner. The ambience was super busy, but it was a Friday night. I was able to get in without a reservation around 6- 7pm. I had the gnocchi which was very good and the chicken Parmesan, which was pretty average.

Love this location as the bar area is very spacious and comfortable. Dining area is also very large. The food and drinks are very good, and there are a ton of different options for Italian food lovers. Pretty good beer selection with at least 20 different draft lines, and cocktail list is lengthy and includes multiple seasonal selections. The cheesy garlic bread served with marinara sauce is a must and the chicken cacciatore was very good. Will definitely visit again if in the area!

They did a great job with our large group. They were on top of drink orders, refills, etc and the food all came out perfectly timed which we appreciated. They have a separate full gluten free menu and offered several traditional pasta dishes with gf pasta. Everyone in our group seemed to enjoy their entrees. The short rib risotto was delicious. It was also a very large portion, which is rare these days. Nice atmosphere that feels casual but upscale at the same time. Added bonus - it is across the parking lot from one of the last remaining Friendly's locations.

Traveling from the southwest I was craving pizza. This restaurant looked good from its website and reviews. The pizza I was served was so bad. I think frozen supermarket pizzas can be better. I can make better pizza at home!!!!

I have to say I was a bit disappointed in the food here. I really thought it was going to be above average fast casual Italian, and I feel like I've had better food at fast food Italian restaurants. My waitress was nice and attentive and I never had to wait terribly long for anything. The fried cheese appetizer was great although buried pretty heavily under the arugula garnish. I expected the gnocchi florentine to have an abundance of flavor based off the ingredients, and it was disappointingly bland. I added on a side of meatballs which were extremely over seasoned and barely edible. The tiramisu was a redeeming factor as it was pretty good and quite large for the price. Definitely not a place I'd go to again, and if I had to for some reason I'd order completely different items in hopes of them tasting better.

One of the best restaurant chains there is! Evviva never disappoints! They have a stellar menu with options for everyone. I have a hard time deviating from my favorite, the Evviva club sandwich, a sandwich of absolute perfection. You can't go wrong with the pizza here though. I've tried that as well, and it tastes as good as it looks. The portions will leave you full, which is unfortunately a bonus these days. The service is always outstanding here. I've been here on many occasions, and I've never had a bad waiter/waitress. My favorite time to go is in the summer when I can enjoy the outdoor seating. However, their inside has a casual but sleek atmosphere and is perfect for any occasion.

First of all Grace was lovely, she was sure to ask if we had any allergies before getting our orders, seemed to know tons about the menu & helped me pick out my drink! Thank you!! I love how Evviva has small/large portions for most dishes, the "smalls" are actually a great portion size i still have to take my food home! I definitely recommend the lasagna fritters, the caesar salad & the gnocchi florentine (I add a crispy chicken cutlet to mine) but I had a spicy margarita here once and its no longer on the menu and I'm going to need it back ASAP ;)

    $24 chicken parm
    Anne M.

Not worth the price. Chicken parm $24 was average. Cheap on the chicken. One piece that wasn't even fully covered in cheese. Lots of spaghetti. The whipped ricotta was the star. I was expecting to toss it but it was flavorful and the best part. The salad was nice as well. Roasted peppers, mozzarella balls, great olives.

The star of the show is the sandwich selection, all on a choice of focaccia or seeded roll, with many including stracciatella, a thick, white, creamy, Buratta-like cheese. Almost every item in the store-- from meats to cheeses to drinks to candies and snacks-- is imported from Italy and you can taste the difference. Very creamy cheese, almost mayoey in texture. It took some adjustment on my first try, but I got used to it quickly. Strong flavors overall. Very enjoyable. -- Matto: Tried (on two different visits) on a grilled seeded roll, this packed Prosciutto, Soppressata, Sharp Provolone, and Hot Cherry Peppers. This was spectacular and will be a repeat sandwich for many visits to come. Excellent sandwiches. Nice people. Easy ordering via Toast (they don't have a website). Limited hours-- weekday lunches only-- and hard to spot, but in the same parking lot as the convenience store. I'm not an authority on Italian sandwiches but I've had my fair share from the "name" places in and around Boston, and this unknown gem from the outer suburbs ranks right up there with them. Some may argue they charge Boston prices, but for Boston quality without the Boston hassle, well worth it. Solidly in my lunch rotation.

The pork ribs were yummy. No sauce needed! The beef brisket was very lean and tasty. I did add some sauce to that, which was also good. The beef rib (special of the day) was huge and flavorful. My girlfriend took most of it home after she got full. The sides were all good. At first I thought a vegetarian could make a meal of the sides, but then I realized the German potato salad had bacon in it. I also had the cucumber salad. We also had the mac' n' cheese, and coleslaw. Aside from the delicious meats is the amazing corn bread. Eating pretty much any New England cornbread is like trying to swallow a fist full of sand. I've made a point to get to Franklin BBQ, Lewis BBQ in Charleston, South Carolina, Horn BBQ IN Oakland, CA, or even Matt's BBQ in Portland, OR. I feel like I can actually tell people something about good BBQ, and why it's worth visiting a place over others. The Purple Pig is run by a guy who grew up in Texas and obviously trained under some great pit masters. The place itself is really not much. There are two tables and a little bar to sit at. They have no restroom, which was pretty disappointing. Thankfully, the dispensary next door was very nice to let us use theirs. Anyway, my uncle and my nephew were with me and we were hungry, so we ordered their family dinner for $95. It had a full rack of ribs, a pound of brisket, two huge sausages, three sides and lots of cornbread. I think this is a great deal for the amount of food you get. After ordering the food came out very quickly. The beef brisket was really amazing. The cut he gave us was a perfect mix of fat and meat. The rub he makes is savory a good blend of salt, pepper and onion. It was really tender meat but also still had firmness as well. The pork ribs were perfectly cooked and fell off the bone nicely. I love the rub he makes for the ribs as well. It is both sweet and savory. The sausages were smoky and peppery. There were two sauces and both were Texan style with a tangy tomato base, but one was spicy and the other not. Both excellent! For the sides, the Cowboy Beans were a standout: these were some of the best beans I've had at a BBQ joint. The cornbread was also really good and the Mac and cheese was solid. The coleslaw was the only side that I thought was just pretty average. I hope that was a helpful review of things. They have so many other things to try on their menu, but sadly I won't be back in this area anytime soon. I hope others will venture out and find this place.
