Arturo's may be a little pricey, but if you are looking for a reliable dining experience without venturing too far, they consistently deliver. They generally stick to the classics, but they do them well. All the seafood on the Frutti Di Mare, including the shrimp, calamari, scallops and muscles were tender and really well cooked. The tomato sauce was balanced - not spicy - and topped a nice portion of skinny linguine. You'll want to sop up any extra sauce with one their warm rolls. The interior was redecorated several years ago, but still feels fresh - a little reminiscent of a northern NJ Italian joint. The soup was very flavorful and the meatballs were generous in size. The fried polenta was fried to a golden brown and crispy. This was my first visit to Arturo's Ristorante, and it won't be my last. I found the food and service were both executed nicely, and the dining venue is very pleasant. It's a popular spot, and I wanted to dine around 5:30 to 6:00pm on a Saturday. I was able to reserve a table at 5:15pm and we were seated promptly upon our arrival. Our two person waiter team introduced us, brought us water, took our drink order and then shared the specials. The specials sounded tasty, especially the pasta special and steak special. We selected: * (1) Mista Salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, kalamata olives, red onions, candied walnuts, crumbled blue cheese, balsamic vinaigrette, over mixed greens. $15 * (1) Arancini Fried Risotto Balls (4) filled with Smoked Gouda and mozzarella cheese served with tomato sauce. $15 * (2) Pasta Special: Sliced sweet Italian sausage and pulled chicken sautéed with roasted zucchini and summer squash, tossed with fresh rigatoni and spinach in a vodka tomato cream sauce, garnished with shaved ricotta salata. $30 Martini Hendricks: $16 Brunello Laleccaia Wine: $18 Total for dinner with tip: $133 The Mista Salad we shared was tasty, we really enjoyed the zesty dressing. Our main critique is that the pasta dish could have used more sausage, and that the courses arrived too close together. The martini was good, and the wine was adequate, I would not get this wine again. It didn't compare to the Austin Hope Cabernet, Paso Robles, 2022 ($17) I had at Via Italian Table for example. Always a great place to have team dinners. The restaurant is furnished in a contemporary styling with ample seating. Our last server Jason was super quick and attentive, even though we had an 18 person party. The food was brought out quickly and was nice and hot. I had the 8oz tenderloin, with potatoes and asparagus, the food was cooked perfectly, the veggies were not overcooked and the steak was perfectly cooked at medium-rare. I decided to try out Arturo's Ristorante for the first time on Valentine's Day as I had seen received recommendations about the restaurant on a few separate occasions and saw that there were still reservation spots open. I could tell that we had made a fantastic choice as the host was constantly seating parties but still had a crowd waiting to check in at the front desk. We were seated a little bit after our reservation time, but again, parties were being seated quickly so it went by quickly. When we were seated, we were promptly greeted by our server. She was very attentive and provided suggestions on various menu items - we felt that dinner was well-paced and did not feel rushed to finish despite how busy the restaurant was. We ordered the calamari appetizer and the Caesar salad to share for appetizers. The calamari was delicious - crispy and well-seasoned with cocktail sauce or tartar sauce both provided. The salad was also very tasty and served as a refreshing side throughout our dinner. For entrees, we went with the frutti di mare and the pasta di napoli. My husband's go to is frutti di mare and he was very pleased with Arturo's, ranking it as one of his favorites he's had. The pasta di napoli was everything I could have every wanted with perfectly cooked pasta, a smooth cream sauce, and a generous helping of seafood (lobster, scallops, and shrimp). We rounded off the night with the dessert special, bread pudding. We decided at the dinner table that we will be returning to Arturo's for future date nights and that and this may have turned into our favorite Italian restaurant in the Metrowest location. We came here for dinner and it was popping! It is more festive and upscale here than we expected. We were fortunately able to get seated without a reservation. The service is quick and friendly. We ordered clam chowder, arancini, seafood pasta, and bolognese and everything was really good! We particularly enjoyed the clam chowder and the bolognese. Some parts of the lobster in the pasta (claw parts) tasted a little strange but I've had that experience before and I don't think it's necessarily due to it not being fresh, but I'm no expert. The portions are fairly large and this was all too much food for us so we had leftover bolognese to take home. This is a nice place for a date night or night out with friends. read more

I get together regularly with three friends for lunch in the Hopkinton, Westboro/Shrewsbury area. Yesterday we went to Arturo's in Westboro. It's a particular favorite of ours, and I've been many times, with them for lunch and for dinner as well. Certainly a place I've been to so often merits a review. The restaurant is large - two large rooms, one larger, more light area and one more formal and quiet space. It is comfortable, and I particularly like the booths, which are large and private. I am always greeted by the most wonderful hostess. She knows us, so always puts us in our favorite spot. The food is largely traditional Italian, all your typical Italian favorites prepared well. They also run specials which have always been good additions to the regular menu. My lunch favorite is the Cobb salad, and for dinner, the eggplant parm gets my top entree vote. The wait staff are seasoned pros, pleasant and efficient. They expertly accommodate any little changes we ask for (like substituting goat cheese for blue cheese). It's a nice relaxed place to meet friends for a good meal. read more

We love this spot for special occasions. Their prices are on par for what I would expect but some of their portions are smaller than you would hope. They have a huge parking lot. The service is always good - not great but good (which seems to be the same almost every where you go lately...) They make amazing cocktails and they aren't shy adding the liquor to them either! Their bar area is very large and nice. They also have a private function room. Everything we have tried has been delicious and my favorites so far have been the pasta di napoli and the special filet. Their desserts are just OK but definitely skip the Tiramisu - the bottom was so watery - I had high hopes because they make it there too. read more

What a fabulous lunch today, on 8/14/2025! Sara, our server, greeted us warmly and treated us well. We visited there last in 2019, and the food has retained its excellence, along with a beautiful re-imagining of the interior space. Had the penne Bolognese again, plus a crunchy chicken dish, with breaded cutlets, over penne, with vodka sauce. The bruschetta is to die for! so good...A great-looking printed menu, suited to the classy atmosphere - it's good to see business lunch-style dishes on there. As a party of one, I looked online to get reservations same day for a Saturday night and they were booked. I decided to give it a call and see if they accepted walk-ins. They were extremely accommodating and got me in at the time that I wanted. ( yes the place was full) I ordered the seafood pasta. It was outstanding. The seafood in it was fresh and delicious. This review is solely on the Thanksgiving dinner. This restaurant was providing for people to take home the day before Thanksgiving. My family and I happen to stumble across Arturo's offer a month prior about them doing this Thanksgiving dinner heat, and serve deal and thought it was a pretty good idea. They were only doing this for 50 people apparently and everything they had to offer sounded delicious. When we went to place this order weeks and weeks ago, the staff who were taking the orders were not very friendly over the phone. I don't know if this was because they were busy or what exactly the issue was but they were not the friendliest people. They took payment information over the phone and there was no type of verification email or text to confirm that this order has been placed. When the day came to pick up the food, luckily they had our name down and that was assuring, but truthfully, we do not feel comfortable leaving our payment information with a business and not get some kind of confirmation after making the purchase. Either way we received our food along with instructions on how to heat everything. This meal had all white meat, turkey sliced for amount of six people with a huge amount of green beans, stuffing squash, mashed potatoes, a cranberry relish, but no rolls. At the time in the description weeks ago, it did mention roles would be included so that was an inconvenience to have to run out again to get so I'm at the supermarket when every single one of those stores was a zoo before the holiday. We followed the instructions as they were printed on their paper that also included on their sheet to take a picture of our meal and post it to their Instagram for a chance to win a $50 gift card. It was not something we were interested in, but still it was a nice gesture of the restaurant. When everything had been heated and we were about to enjoy everything, the turkey itself was absolutely terrible. We followed the directions accurately and perfectly as they were described on the sheet that was provided to us. The rest of the sides were absolutely delicious, but the fact that the main course was dry and disappointing, was very upsetting to the family and I. I can't imagine the other 49 people who did this meal deal did not have the same issue. This was also not cheap. It was about $200 plus you're tipping them as well. If we had known the turkey was going to turn out this dry, we would've made it ourselves, but we wanted to give them a chance. Once again, this is not in regards to a dining experience in the restaurant. This is literally just for their Thanksgiving dinner that they offered. I think if they decide to do this again, they should tweak their heating instructions or do something different entirely because the turkey was a fail. read more

The food was amazing and my husband and I cannot wait to go back. We both had the beef tenderloin which was cooked to prefection with delicious sides to accompany the meal. The bread was mouthwatering and I could not resist a few pieces! We had the arancini to start and next time, I will order my own plate; I wanted more - no sharing again! I had the amazing carrot cake and my husband had the Godive chocolate cheesecake. Had a delicious lunch with my adult children at Arturo's recently. We frequently went to Arturo's at the previous location many years ago when the kids were little. I'm so happy to say that we had another wonderful dining experience! We started with some apps-calamari & bruschetta. So good! Then, we shared 4 pizzas- all were excellent. My favorite was the Margherita. But, the Banana pepper & Meat Lover were also yummy. My kids liked the Buffalo Chicken pizza, but it was a bit too spicy for me. Of course, we had some beer with our meal-decent draft list. We had excellent service from Joseph, who was very attentive & friendly. The restaurant is very crisp & clean. I recommend Arturo's without hesitation and hope I find myself in the area again sometime soon so I may return for more deliciousness. read more

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. First off, it's super pricey for what you get. My husband ordered the short rib and described it as a glorified pot roast. I ordered the mushroom ravioli and specifically asked that there were no onions in my dish (note: onions are not mentioned in the menu, but I always do this as a precaution). When my meal came, something tasted off. I tried to muscle through it, but after eating a couple raviolis, I saw chunks of onions underneath. I told the waitress and she apologized and walked away. I thought she was going to either bring me a new meal or take the meal off my bill, but she didn't do either! It just sat there. And at the end of our dinner, she just took it away! I didn't want to say anything because I was with a large party, but I was shocked. We spent a lot of money here, and left unsatisfied/hungry. read more

I don't like French fries dipped in batter and the menu said thick cut fries, no mention of being cooked in batter. The waiter offered mashed potatoes.
