Ordered a half-and-half pizza, the classic margarita and half roasted vegetables. Was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. Got there in 20 minutes and the food was waiting for me. The margarita was like thin cardboard with some tomato sauce and very little fresh mozzarella or basil and cold. My mate says the worst Pizza she ever had. The roasted vegetable was very good, just not warm. However a little pricey at $26 for a large. The Caesar salad was good but again pricey at $16. They have great dinner rolls also but to pay $45 for a large pizza and a Caesar salad I'd never do it again unless I had another $20 off coupon. And sadly, I would never order a margarita pizza there again. read more

I hadn't been to a bertuccis in years and got my fave which is the chicken broccoli rigatoni. It was good! Not much chicken though. The rigatoni abruzzi was also good. Unfortunately neither dish sat well in our bellies and we were on the toilet later. Also our waitress has the personality of a rock. Oh well! It's a chain. I think Bertucci's is great!!!! It is within the affordability of many, many patrons (compared to a number of restaurants in today's market.) The food is excellent, the service was excellent, and the ambience was fun. Even though it had to close some of its restaurants, perhaps it will expand again more slowly and wisely! I hope so. The western part of the state - Pittsfield, for example, would be an ideal place for expansion.....only when its financial circumstances are healthy. I am SO grateful that BERTUCCI"S did not completely shut down!!!! I live 80 miles away, but to me, the restaurant is worthy of a "destination" category! each of the stars are for each of the pre-dinner rolls we had which are always the best around. If not for the rolls as they say, I wouldn't give it any stars on the worst meals I've had in a long time. Haven't been to Bertucci's since it was in Salmon Pond mall years ago . Used to go there specifically for their chicken piccata, which is some of the best around. Three of us had it two arrived on time the third came over five minutes after the other two with apologies and the waitress that they put the wrong pasta on, and it was swimming in a pool of liquid, as if they didn't drain the pasta cause they were rushing to get it on the plate The meal was ruined. I was so hungry. I ate it frankly it was disgusting while like chicken piccata soup. The other two orders were not good as well not the usual crispy fried and often baked coating on the chicken. Really disappointing we stick to the takeout pizza which is excellent Bertucci should've never closed two ovens Pizza that was their forte Maybe I'll try the Tuscan wings if I go back but I doubt we'll go for a sit in me again what a waste of over $100 read more

Our family has dined at Bertucci's restaurants since 1987-1988, dating back to when they were located in Marlborough off of route 20. Over the years, we've dined at the Westborough and Marlborough Solomon Pond Mall (recently closed) locations. We've always loved and looked forward to dining at these locations, however, the past two visits (take out) have left us disappointed and unfulfilled. Each time during the most recent take outs, food quality, appeal and taste had diminished from what we have grown to expect from years of dining there. We ordered a customized pizza, eggplant & spaghetti entree and a slew of appetizers, but we were disappointed that the food was bland, tasteless and lacked appeal; the spinach artichoke dip wasn't a disappointment, however. Our take out bill exceeded $100, but food quality, appeal and taste did not meet expectations nor match the total bill. We would have done better by dining take out at Love Frankie's Pizza (Worcester), Linguine's (Marlborough) or Ziti's (Westborough), as these restaurants consistently exceed our expectations, are locally owned and independent. By these measures, Bertucci's apparently has become the Olive Garden of faux Italian restaurants. read more

darn, The pizza is good, sometimes really good. But we always get a salad and the last few times there has been no love in making the salad. Such a high margin product you think they would go the extra distance. No pepperoncini, no nothing. Just some greens and a little bit of tomatoes. Ordered take out tonight, Bertucci's should be a safe bet with hubby and kids WRONG Portion size ridiculously small, my husbands pasta and meatballs had the baby meatballs that go on pizza. COMPLETELY disappointed in my Sporkie pizza. Ricotta was painted on in strips with a pastry bag and no more crumbled mostly sweet sausage. Sausage was cut in slices and a bit spicy. The casing was nasty too. Kids semi satisfied with pasta dishes but I am done. So freakin expensive should have hit up Shrewsbury St. Would have been slightly move expensive but would have been fresh, hot and yummy. Westboro will be next to go out of business. read more

Awful - save your money! Food is overpriced. My "baked" mac and cheese was baked into its dish - literally all stuck to the dish aside from some of the noodles. Rubbery and VERY hot. With many restaurants to choose from, we were looking for a safe bet for our family. Buyers Remorse! We had to wipe down our own benches, there was trash under the already bused table next to ours. I won't get into service - mediocre at best. The two Bertuccis near our home closed down. I'm beginning to understand why. This restaurant happens to be the test kitchen of the entire chain. I used to go to the one in Holliston with my family and absolutely loved it. I have been coming here for a good number of years and noticed that they have made some horrific changes.. my favorite pizza was the Solano and they have changed this around so much. It's not even the same sauce and cheese recipe they had before it tastes very generic. Not to mention the chicken is absolutely awful. It has an incredibly sandy texture to it and is very bland . Also, when they put the broccoli on the pizza, it's very hard and crunchy every time. I have also gotten their rigatoni, broccoli and chicken and pretty much the same thing goes only it tastes like a microwavable meal as opposed to fresh. It is sad when you can honestly say the best thing about this place are the rules that they give you. Nothing else is impressive and it's way overpriced. They make better pizzas at Wegmans than they do here. I truthfully don't know why they've made so many changes and it is interesting considering about a year or two ago. They had someone from Food Network come down and help them out with some stuff and it just seems like they have gone back to their old ways. Overall very saddening and disappointing. Takeout: ordered a pizza, pasta dish, and salad. Though the dishes tasted good. The pasta dish was cold. The salad didn't come with the balsamic drizzle. The pizza was not only half burnt, the crust was literally black on almost half the pizza. The toppings didn't come close to where it should have - on a slice almost half of it was naked just crust. The people who work in the To Go area are very rude. Also, the food takes so long to prepare even at 5pm. They prepare it all at different times so it's cold when you get it. Takeout Exp: Arrived on time and find I'm like 21st in line waiting for takeout. 1/2 my order is done other 1/2 being cooked (spaghetti/meatballs and mozzarella wedges). 45mins later meal is ready to go. (Meal took 90 mins in total) Food: pizza is lukewarm and greasy after sitting so long, mozzarella wedges somehow both overcooked and grease laden on the outside and hard in the middle. Credit where its due the 2-3 people working the takeout counter hustled and did their best..felt like they got hung out to dry...kudos to them. Post COVID getting staffing is a challenge, but if the kitchen was that backed up why still take phone and online orders until you can catch up. We ordered online. We were drawn to try Bertucci's Pizza by advertisement Gift Cards. We had saved a $15 Gift Card. I decided to order two different Pizzas. When I went to pay for the order. It kept refusing to accept the Gift Card for payment. I paid the whole amount with a credit card and told my wife I would check with the manager about this. The management person said the order is paid for, we have nothing to do with online ordering. there is nothing I can do.  "There is nothing I can do?" A very disgruntled customer left wondering what was wrong with these people. The Pizza was good. Will I ever go back? Local shift management attitude and customer respect need adjusting! Maybe the local managers were incapable of being reasonable. Maybe these people were reflecting the attitudes of the owner/general management. read more

I used to go to Bertucci's all the time when I was younger. The raw dough they let kids play with and then bake into whatever shape of bread they want was always so awesome. I also liked their pasta's. My classic and go to was always the four cheese ravioli. Recently we got take out from there and I was surprised to see they had Shrimp Scampi. Shrimp Scampi is my favorite pasta and it definitely never used to be on their menu so when I saw it, I had to try it. And I'm really glad I did! It was very tasty and the shrimp was cooked extremely well. My dad and sister got the salmon, which they said was pretty good, but a little dry. My step-mom got the four cheese ravioli, which as expected she said was delicious. read more

Pretty disappointing dinner. The pasta was cooked well and the food tasted okay, but we were jammed in next to another table with pizzas in the aisle so we couldn't move our chairs. The service was awful. Silverware was dirty, asked for clean silverware, which never came. Eventually self served by grabbing place settings from adjacent table. Asked for Parmesan cheese...three times. Eventually it arrived after rolls were already eaten. Water was never refilled until dinner plates were cleared. I know the restaurant is understaffed, but that does not account for screwing up an order for a roasted vegetable pizza. It was a to-go order. When I got home, I discovered a layer of meat (pepperoni and sausage) embedded under the vegetables. Had to throw it out rather than call to complain and drive all the way back. The cannoli are filled only at the ends, leaving a 2" hollow tunnel in the middle. Local pizza for me from now on. read more

Service was good. Was between shifts so she had a few tables and was bussing tables and hosting. One difficult table giving her a hard time but she handled it. The food was not good. Chicken Picata Had no flavor. Was difficult to chew. Chicken parm was a large portion but was nothing special. My daughter took some of it home but when reheated it was mush. Stopped in for dinner after making reservation online. I like the ability to use open table for reservations. Takes one layer of hassle out of the equation. Upon our arrival our hostess went over our table to convert a 6 top to a 4 top for our party. I saw them drop one set of utensils on the floor, pick them up and put them back in the table...really? Waitress came over promptly and took drink order and entrees. The bread rolls and dipping sauce are excellent. Ordered a cheese pizza which was undercooked and raw dough in the middle. With all the pizza they make and serve, no excuse for raw pizza. 2 of our orders got lost and had to be rushed through the kitchen. The chicken domani was very good and tasty and I recommend it. This place has the ability to be 5 star with proper training. I only hope they will take the initiative to make it happen. read more

Friendly staff and good food is what can be expected from Bertucci's. A local chain establishment, serving up family style italian. We usually use this location to do their pick-up service. Their cheese pizza is something the kids enjoy. I usually try to steer towards their pizza and calzones over their pasta. The pizza is good. Toppings selection is good and they are pretty flexible on the create your own. I am not the biggest fan of their pasta personally, and their sauce is more oh the bland side for my personal liking. In short I think they really cater more towards the casual family crowd and is something better if you are trying to please some more finicky eaters with middle ground requirements. read more

Hadn't been to a Bertuccis for a few years. We had stopped going because we felt the quality went way down. We decided to try it again because It used to be a semi-decent place for pizza. The quality has not improved and the prices are crazy. We had company so we ordered a deal - 2 signature pizzas with salad for $40. Way over priced for pizza but we wouldn't have minded if it was edible. They forgot 1 pizza so we had to wait for it to be cooked while the other sat there. We ordered the Margherita pizza and the sporkie. Both tasted like cardboard - the pizza was awful. The sporkie tasted like a bowl of salt. It was so bad nobody ate it and we tossed it. Total waste of time and money. The salad was really the only thing that was ok. read more

A franchise Italian resturant which I have never really heard of was really a pleasant surprise. I was with a group that really had a limited amount of time for lunch. I have to say that their chicken piccata served with linguine was really delicious. It came with two crispy pieces of chicken breast the size of your palm, served with linguine covered in a light tangy lemon sauce with capers. It was really a perfect dish that hit the spot for me. The waitress told me it was one of their most popular dishes and I can see why. Their pizzas were ok. It's made with chunky tomato sauce which is not something that I enjoy but if you are a tomato lover it would be perfect for you. It really was a great place for lunch.
