DO NOT take your equipment to Mustang Equipment SAT 78233…read more Repairs took 2 1/2 weeks AND almost cost 2x the estimate. I purchased my JD from Mustang Equip. I needed service. I read the bad reviews but tried them anyway. The Service Writer repeatedly said it would not be more than $200. The final price was $435 before I complained. $372 after adjustments. They didn't look at the tractor until I called on the original due date 1 1/2 weeks after I took it in. It sat in their "bone yard" outside for 19 days total. The repairs only took 2.3 hrs according to the invoice. They replaced a carburetor, spark plug & adjusted the tracking. An automated voice message said it was "ready" so went to pick it up. The battery was dead and the tractor was filthy. I refused to buy a battery from Mustang. They jump started the mower so I could load it. In the end I paid almost double the estimate. Waited 19 days. I got a tractor more dirty than I took in. They scratched up the rear paint when they carried it into service area with a fork lift because they drained the battery. Plus the work was sloppy. They will smile, take your money and waste your time. Put them out of business! Buy the parts on Amazon, watch a YouTube video and save time and money. Take your equipment ANYWHERE BUT Mustang.

I was able to do the job I needed in the time I predicted. (I could have never done it with a four wheel bobcat.). The machine was in great condition, practically new, and functioned flawlessly. The air conditioned cab was really nice...cool, clean and most of all, not dusty. The tilt trailer I rented was easy to load and unload. (Next time I'll probably take advantage of their delivery and pickup service.) The pickup and return was easy and laid back. Friendly guys and great to do business with. Overall I give these guys an A+ and highly recommend.

I called Kubota and they asked me to bring it back in never once mentioning an additional charge being I had already paid $1250 for the 500 hour maintenance, when I retrieved the machine, they charged me $200 and told me there was nothing wrong with the machine, it was within allowable specifications.! The assistant service manager came combative when I inquired as to what was inspected and why I didn't Ihave an issue prior to the service they performed. He stated you could pay the $200 and take your machine and go.! 1 Star Customer Service experience!

I'm very happy with my purchase of the MX4800 I bought in 2020. Boerne, Selma, and Seguin all do a great job. I hope Seguin starts getting more skid steers into their rental fleet! I trust the Ewald name because of its loyalty to south Texas. That matters to me. I do business that way and so do they. I'm a lifetime customer for that reason.

Within 4 years with light use the tractor needed the entire fuel system replaced and through the 4 years had a plethora of other issues. When I would call the parts and service people didn't know their tractors and it showed. I tell you this because after being quoted $5,000 dollars to replace the fuel system and a warranty of a whopping 30 days I decided it was time to part ways with the Mahindra. I called all three of the tractor dealers in Seguin and was very pleased with the service at Ewald. After hours and hours of research I decided to give Kubota our business. Austin Gay made the process extremely easy and enjoyable. Any time I have questions he has gotten the information I need as quickly as possible. I bought the tractor in May of 2017 and minus hitting a stump and bending a shredder blade yesterday I've had absolutely zero issues with the Kubota l4701 we bought. I cannot speak highly enough about Austin and the people I've come into contact with at Ewald. Because of the service I received during my tractor purchase I decided to also purchase a new weed eater there. I had my mind made up on a Sthil weed eater when I arrived, however Austin said I should buy the Echo SRM280t. Again he steered me in the right direction. That weed eater is a monster. It has had no problem cutting through my thick weeds and even some small mesquite. I highly recommend the echo. Today I called to get the information of the shredder blade I bent. The salesman got my the price and specs on it within a few minutes. What impressed me the most about that was when I showed up the gentleman had taken notes and written the part number down. Mind you I didn't tell him I would be coming to pick it up. Excellent customer service!!! Stuff like makes the buying process so much nicer and easier than some of the other places around here. If you're in the market for new equipment please give Ewald a call. All my future business will be conducted with them!!

The service manager that sold us these tires disputed my husbands observations. The new service manager, Stephanie, agreed with my husband that the tires were used NOW we have had our tractor at Kubota for over 3 weeks and for new tires and simple service and today Stephanie told me that the parts are in but that we had to "email" them for approval to proceed with the service (which my husband did) and that she would "try" to get the work done. I told Stephanie no more excuses, get it done. Ewald and service in Floresvile is an oxymoron, the service doesn't exist. I wish we had purchased a John Deere.

The service manager told us "You must have driven through some mud to cause that " and quoted almost a thousand dollars to fix/replace what should have been a warranty item. I suppose we shouldn't be driving in mud in an rtv these days. Vehicle has been garage kept and no off roading- just drive around our property for basic chores. I have rims on multiple other vehicles many years old with no rust. There was a small bent bracket that was preventing the tailgate from closing. We could have bent it back with a pair of pliers in about 15 seconds ourselves but since it is our first (and last) Kubota product and under warranty we decided to wait and ask if it would damage it to simply bend it back ourselves to be safe. Mathew did no work at all until he heard from us to accept the maintenanc/repair quote. When I told him to go ahead and do the regular scheduled maintenance but not the 1000.00 rim work he informed me they had already bent the brac back and would be charging us 80.00 for the labor on top of the maintenance. 80.00 to bend a bracket. We never got a choice or any communication until it was discovered they weren't going to make a huge profit replacing their crappy rims. Communication is less than stellar. It is made clear that actually talking to the customer on the phone is not what Mathew wants. Was told he prefers everything done by text message. That's fine to a point but not when you have a question or need to discuss options. Then you can leave a message with another department and never get a call back or sit on hold listening to Jerry Clower comic skits. I never want to hear Jerry Clower again in my life. Very inappropriate niche audience material to have as an on hold recording for every customer. Once on the phone, pleasant enough but you definitely don't feel very valuable as a customer. There is a huge disconnect in this office with nobody that can handle a simple transaction when one person is out. Two hours on the phone to try and prepay before picking up our machine. Then, picking up, one poor guy that hasn't been trained to deal with a simple, common transaction for this business and is obviously very anxious about the repercussions of making a mistake. I truly felt for him. We may have to return here in a tight spot but only in a tight spot.
