In November 2024, we hired Sir Grout to service our shower due to mold in the caulk. We paid for…read morethe Shower Cleaner ($50), Shower Clean & Clear Seal ($483), and Epoxy Grout ($400). Within just a few weeks, the caulk began crumbling and peeling apart. Since Sir Grout offers a 1-year warranty if you exclusively use their cleaner, they returned and fixed it at no cost. Unfortunately, within a few months of that repair, the caulk turned an unsightly yellow and mold reappeared beneath the surface. The shower looked terrible again. When we contacted them, it took a while to get a response. Eventually, Steven, who had actually performed the grout service and was absolutely lovely to work with, came out, admitted the mold and yellowing shouldn't have happened given our care routine, and said he'd reach out to his boss for a resolution. Weeks later of my partner following up a few times, Jose finally called, only to say there was nothing they could do and blamed it on "ventilation issues." I have never had yellowing issues with caulk before using this company, and the lack of timely communication, accountability, and follow-through on their 1-year warranty is disappointing. I will be hiring a different company to redo the grout.

Weeks later...Eric from Sir Grout came out and fixed the things that I had previously stated. The floor looks 100% better. I am very pleased and changing my rating to 4 stars. We had previously called a corporate place who quoted us $150 and then tried to slam us with a $500 revised quote once they arrived to our home. It was criminal! When I spoke to Robert, he said unfortunately, our experience is a common bait and switch and vowed to help us, despite our tight timeline! Robert gave us an approximate quote over the phone after seeing a photo of our sofa, and it matched what we ultimately paid upon the completion of the service.
