The cleaning was OK, just ok. I have used this service a few times, but the last time they were here will definitely be the last time. They spent the first hour in the back room talking about a personal issue. Then when I mentioned the 3 hour max I had arranged with the person on the phone, they started to do the work a little faster, but left many things undone or improperly done. They tried to sneak out the door without saying goodbye, but I caught them and gave a tip. I should've checked their work prior to tipping them. Very disappointed. I am disabled and an occasional cleaning is very helpful, but I am not satisfied with the completion of the job. read more

The staff who do the cleaning are very efficient and competent. They do an excellent job and always check in, so you can double check everything before they leave. My house always feels exceptionally clean after they are done. Our house was so dusty, it feels amazing now. I usually do these types of requests last minute and they were able to accommodate same week service. Wiping down my kitchen appliances was not an extra like so many other places out there. We have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath and I requested focus on the bathrooms and kitchen/living space. It was one cleaner who came out and did it all in 3hrs. I've used Dirt Busters for over a year now. Mercedes is always quick to respond, professional, and able to get cleaners scheduled for me efficiently. We both commute, work full-time, one of us is in grad school, and we have pets. It's become increasingly difficult to find time to deep clean and stay on top of the dogs shedding (even with the Roomba!). I called and asked for a deep clean to tackle areas that are not usually cleaned. We have a wonderful lady who comes and cleans our house weekly and she takes care of all usual cleaning tasks. I let them know this information. I specified that I wanted the baseboards, inside windows, outside cabinets, and any areas that you would normally clean in a deep clean addressed. Not a surface-level clean. They said this was no problem. They showed up and it seemed fine at first. I tried to tell them where to clean and they cleaned the specific areas I pointed to when explaining, but didn't apply that to the rest of the house. They left after 3.5 hours and on the surface it looked ok. I received an invoice for 4 full hours and brought up the discrepancy. They said they would adjust it, but put through a charge on my card for the full, erroneous amount anyways. I started to look through my house in areas I had asked them to clean, but didn't specifically point out with my finger. They were not cleaned at all!! I am beyond disappointed in the quality of the job and feel taken advantage of. I was very clear that I did not want a surface-level cleaning and they confirmed they could do the deep clean. This was anything but a deep clean. They failed to deliver the service they contracted for. Edit to add: When I brought it to their attention and sent them many pictures of the shortcomings in every room in my house, they told me that they had before and after pictures of the oven and stovetop vent that showed my house was cleaned. They did not ask permission to take these pictures of my house. They told me this was industry standard, but did not mention this on arrival. I would not have hired them in the first place if I had known they would take pictures without informing me. They told me they would issue a full refund, which they did for the overcharged amount. However, they then reinitiated the charge today. I have not yet seen the new charge refunded. read more

Very organized and communicative process: I got texts and emails for my carpet cleaning appointment after I called to schedule one. I also received a text when they were driving over and when they arrived. I even received an email right after they were finished! Alejandro and his coworker worked really hard and efficiently while being friendly at the same time. They finished carpet cleaning my 2nd story apartment in about an hour and 15 minutes. I had a bedroom, hallway, living/dining room vacuumed, liquid soap spray, soap bar scrub and steamer cleaned which was really thorough (quoted for $140). Most carpet cleaners only use the steamer after spraying soap. They wore masks and booties too. Great work all around and would recommend. read more

But here is what my experience tells me that those ratings may be bought to push this service. Mike contacted me estimated $320 for move out for 4 hours, 2 people crew. Which was inline with other service providers who also responded my messages. After two rounds of telephone conversation we agreed to proceed. Gave me 2 hour window 10-12pm and told me crew will reach out on the appointment day. First problem: Neither crew or Mike contacted me until I started pinging them. Finally around 12pm I was told that Ana from Dirt Busters will be arriving soon. Then I was told crew is having lunch. Since I had to attend another task, I told crew to go ahead and enter house and start cleaning. Divana and Javier went above and beyond to do an impeccable job for my move-in cleaning service. They washed the exterior and interior windows, cleaned the top of door frames and base boards, wiped down every surface with detail, scraped out hard water stains, and cleaned the interior of the appliances above all else. Nothing went unnoticed. They are very friendly, professional, and wore booties throughout. We also had the carpet cleaned and Ian was great. I hired a move out cleaning on a tiny one bedroom apt $300 woof. They didn't touch the inside of the oven, caked on grease wow, and argued about the bathroom ceiling fan saying it was clean,... you tell me does it look clean in the pictures. I called Dirt Busters in to my home to solve a dirty problem. My roommate walked through fresh tar street slurry and onto the carpet staining a path of footprints to his bedroom. I called The Dirt Busters right away! The "Busters" showed up on time after texting me to keep me in the loop. The friendly crew of two cleaned the offensive footprints quickly and it looked great and it was surprisingly inexpensive! However when it dried the marks still were visible (slightly). We have used Dirt Busters for a while. At first, they were great but we are going to discontinue using them. For months, I have been fighting with them to get the two hours we pay for (for two people, four person hours). Usually, they give us about 1 1/2 hours and sometimes less. Today, they sent three people instead of the usual two. The math works out to 1 1/3 hours for three people (four person hours) but they were here 57 minutes (in the door at 1:17 and out at 2:14). They do the minimum and complain when we ask them to do more to fill even some of the time we have paid them for. If they could properly clean the house in that time, I'd say great, but they always leave dust and dirt. Mercedes the coordinator is very pleasant but I'm tired of the hassle. read more

I have had dirt busters come to clean our house twice now and they have been wonderful! The first time was a deep clean (while I was pregnant) which was a little on the expensive side but worth it. Now that we have a little one we had them come for the 2 hour service with 2 people for $199. They deep cleaned 2 bathrooms and our kitchen, as well as vacuuming and dusting. Could not have been a smoother process. I called to get a quote for a commercial building, concrete deep clean. They were very responsive, I sent pictures of the space, and received a quote in a timely manner. I received reminder notifications for my upcoming appt, and the day of, a text message with an ETA. Once they arrived, they were extremely productive and even finished earlier than expected. Our floors were so dirty from construction, and they now look brand new!! Even though it's the same exact people cleaning my house the quality has drastically gone down hill and I cannot recommend this company anymore. I'll leave this review 4 stars which it was when it was Dirt Busters and I'll write a new review of the new cleaning company. **4/30/16 update** I've been using Dirt Busters now for monthly cleaning service for almost a year now and these guys do a fantastic job. A crew of two cleans my 3 bedroom house end to end leaving my house smelling fresh and clean when I get home from work. When you first hire Dirt Busters the owner Mike will check out your house and ask what your highest priorities are. For me, the kitchen and bathrooms are the main priority and then depending on time left they can clean the rest. In the small amount of time they're at my house I'm amazed how much extra stuff they do such as cleaning the window blinds and ceiling fan blades. Cleaning service is hourly so if you want something extra done like the oven or fridge cleaned it's just added to your time, not a specific charge amount. You're given a combination lock box to hang on your door on cleaning days which holds the house key. I'm not giving it 5 stars since I've had a few issues over the year but the customer service cannot get any better. Mike will do whatever it takes to make you happy and if I've been upset about anything he makes it right. You can feel totally comfortable having strangers in your house when you're not home because Mike runs an honest business and he's full of integrity. They'll be keeping my business for years to come. Besides house cleaning they do several other things. I hired Mike to remove the old grout from my master bathroom tile and regrout with a new epoxy type. He was honest and upfront about potential damage that may occur due to it being an older bathroom and he ended up doing a fantastic job. Looks amazing. We had been living in an apartment for the last ten years without ever considering the air ducts being dirty. So when my family started getting allergies after cleaning the house, the thought of dirty ducts from seeing pictures started to give me anxiety. I did some research and quoting on Yelp and decided to give Dirt Busters a call. Mike came out with all his equipment; lugged it up to the second floor apratment. He explained the whole process that he would go through after the initial inspection. He wore a mask and booties through the house. So he inspected it and determined that the apartment complex had built it with fiberglass? sheet in the duct so if he ran his machine through it, it would literally shred it into a million fiberglass shards. He used his phone to take pictures to show us. So we couldn't really do anything about it. But since he was already here and I didn't want it to be a dry run for him, he offered to clean our grates and he did so immaculately. It was clean enough to lick. And he gave us great advice on the air filter, gave us some duct tape to seal the gaps between the filter and the housing. He even left us a spray bottle with purple solution, which helped to de-grease whatever we needed to degrease. He answered a lot of my anxiety-driven questions and was pleasant to have in the house for the couple hours or so. We just moved into a new place and I'm considering having Mike come out to professionally clean our carpets and maybe look at the vents, even if it's new construction. read more
