He thoroughly removed the ultimate and other broken tiles and replaced it with new ones. He completed the job in a reasonable amount of time and the finished product was amazing. No cutting corners and he even explained why he thinks the tiles cracked/came loose. We are so grateful to have found him. He told us that he actually specializes in bathrooms and showers, which is going to be our next project so we will definitely be reaching out to him when we are ready to tackle that. Jamen's quote was super reasonable, and once we confirmed the bid, he found us a start date right away. Jamen confirmed that one of his crew would be coming to do the job. His guy - Paolo - came punctually on the agreed upon time, explained the process, and did an awesome job repairing our tile!! Not only did he work quickly and efficiently, but he worked meticulously and made sure not to damage any existing tile. The first day took from about 9-1:30 pm to demo, cut, and set new tile. The second day he came back to do the grout (took less than an hour). Paolo explained that they wanted to make sure the tile was set/dry before grouting so that the grout color didn't blend into wet tileset color (which was white). There was a huge miscommunication with every person that has shown up to our home, with guys even not coming at all unless I called Julio. We had asked for the tub to get new caulking and silicone and were under the assumption that he would remove the old one, dry it out, reinstall, etc. but he just added a new layer on top. By the 4th day of this I knew no one was coming so I ended up finding other contractors. They also hooked up the pipes in our vanity and the hot and cold water are swapped, and it started leaking. Sadly I feel like I was naïve to think one flooring company can do everything I requested and the work should have been split between other contractors.

We started to lay the new laminate flooring I had gotten from Home Depot and ran into a number of problems. This might look easy but unless you have experience with floor installation, it can be very difficult and challenging. We struggled along for a few days until my brother had to go back home up north. The next day I continued by myself for a few hours before I broke down and decided there was no way I could finish this job without help. That's when I called Affordable Floor Installation. Mor was in charge and he was just great. He assessed my situation and complimented me on my progress so far. He was being kind. He and his workers Mauricio and Bayron assured me they could finish up the job and have it done by the end of the day and that they did. They were professional, safe, courteous and attentive to every nook and cranny of my floors. They even installed new baseboards for me as well. The end result is that my house looks fantastic.
