She went above and beyond to make sure he received the proper care, love, and support throughout his stay. The plan of care was created after careful listening by the doctor and the staff to patient/family concerns. The plan was then implemented consistently over his 6 week stay. The nurses and case manager maintained necessary updates while also responding to my calls in real time. They were all professional and thoughtful. The facility itself is modern, clean and has large patient rooms. The physical therapy room is also large, modern and welcoming. There is a place for patients to safely sit outside. He was released after 2 wks, unable to walk & in tremendous pain. When he requested 911 to be called called staff manhandling error, they ignored him. They do not wash their hands from room to room, and due to this dismal like of basic hygiene, he now has MSRA. I just called Ryan @ the Springs the only Mgr that is proactive, and alerted him to MSRA is in the wild @ Springs. The food is processed & horrible. Most of the CNAs are untrained, and this is a cash cow for the greedy, and often sued owner. Google the 2.5 mil lawsuit he just lost, he owns hundreds of these Skilled Nursing Care Rehabs. Many, more than 10 per hall, sit in their wheelchairs, outside their room all day. Looking drugged & lost. Some of them repeatedly requesting a blanket. Most looking more than half dead. If you care about your loved one find another facility.

The woman that Gabby sent to care for my 90-year-old father was off her rocker and had to be removed from my parent's home. Gabby was as shocked as I was because she had used her for other assignments and had never gotten any complaints. Also the woman apparently had good reviews online and had a lot of hospital experience. But bad people can slip through the cracks in any business, especially when they're being hired on a contract-type basis. My caution to anyone using any agency or hiring a private caregiver is to do your due diligence. Do not hire an agency and walk away feeling secure that your loved ones will be well taken care of. Had I not been watching on the camera to make sure that my parents were safe, they would have been traumatized by this woman being in their home all night. Even after getting her to leave, my mom who has Alzheimer's, was terrified that she would be coming back despite me ensuring her that she wasn't. Anyone who is doing long distance care of loved ones living at home, I recommend if you don't have them already, get cameras installed and diligently watch them, especially when a new person comes to the home whether they're from a private hire or an agency. This will ensure that your loved ones are safe and well taken care of.

I had no idea where to start. After being given a few options from various people I began making calls. As soon as I had Gabriela on the phone I felt immediately at ease. She went to visit my mom in skilled nursing so she would be able to find a caregiver that matched my mom's personality and boy did she knock it out of the park. The caregiver she assigned to my mom was kind, communicative, patient, reliable, and the list goes on. I was thrilled, but more importantly my mom was over the moon. When our caregiver was unable to make her shift due to illness, Gabriela texted me right away and was prepared to find a back up. Gabriela herself even offered to run an errand for my mom on the day that this happened. I cannot recommend Constant Companions Home Care enough! Instead of being supportive or acknowledging progress, he makes you feel unwelcome--almost like you don't belong unless you're struggling or "doing bad." Recovery is supposed to be about growth and encouragement, but with Joseph, it feels the opposite. He doesn't congratulate or uplift people who are improving. It's as if he only focuses on the negatives and wants to keep people stuck in that space. If you're looking for a place that celebrates progress and positive change, this may not be the right fit. Everyone deserves a counselor who truly supports recovery at every stage--not one who makes you feel guilty for doing better.

In addition, the therapist's communication has come across as unprofessional and, at times, condescending. After several years with the clinic, I no longer feel confident in the level of care being provided and will be discontinuing services.
