The entire team here is a little family and as I went thru my few months of therapy, I felt like a became a part of it. Today as I "graduated," I felt extremely sad and like a part of my life was changing. 2 times a week, I would look forward to going and seeing everyone. I worked mostly with Brendan, Daniel, Emma, and Brian. They are all extremely intelligent, caring, supportive, energetic, and patient with me, as I was late for numerous sessions, embarrassingly. Don't let me forget the WONDERFUL gals at the front, Jacky and Karen, who shared the same traits as the rest of the team. The facility itself is kept spotless, sanitized, and well-kept. They have lots of great equipment and something I really liked was that they don't "overbook." There were never more than about 4-5 patients in there at once, so it was never noisy, crowded, etc., which allows you to focus on your therapist and training. All in all, Maxum Therapy deserves outstanding citizen awards and is a shining GEM in the OC community. I cannot wait until I need PT again so I can return to my Maxum family. :)

I have chronic pain, fatigue, and autoimmune diseases, and I started going to Maxum for TMJ. I no longer have issues with my jaw, and I've been treated for several other issues since (tendonitis, scoliosis, arthritis, pulled muscles, surgery recovery, chondromalacia). I was able to return to sports I thought I could never do again. Bryan is a compassionate and knowledgeable practitioner. He's an expert in his field and meets you where you're at. Modifications for your specific case will be offered, and you'll constantly have small wins that make you better. I tell everyone I know to go see Bryan for literally any issue they have, and I'm so grateful to him and the Maxum team for helping me get my life back.

But the approved authorization was right there on page two of the 11-page packet, signed by my workers' compensation adjuster. It took me just a few seconds to find it. Instead of admitting the mistake or trying to fix it, Tommy completely ghosted me. He stopped responding and never acknowledged what happened. I even had my workers' compensation adjuster call the office to explain everything. She left a voicemail after no one answered, and they never bothered to call her back either. The communication and attention to detail were terrible. If this is how they handle something as simple as paperwork and scheduling, I can only imagine how they handle actual physical therapy. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this place.

I had to get my occupational health screening completed at this particular Concentra and I was…read moresurprised by how efficient the experience was. I super appreciated how little I waited from the moment I got checked-in until I left the facility. The MA who took care of me from start to finish was a gold-star MA. She was not just efficient, but proficient with administering injections and venipuncture. I'm a hard stick and also used to train MAs and phlebotomists. I wholeheartedly wish every MAs are like her. I wish I remembered her name because she really deserves a shoutout. I don't know of any other Concentra that's as coordinated as this location because I was there for less than an hour for all that I needed done. The drug screening took very little to no time even when using the wonky eScreen. The physician came in very quickly to complete the physical itself once all the specimens were collected and the immunization were administered. Just for comparison, my previous experience at a different Concentra location took me a whopping 4.5hr for a visit completion. So I was fully expecting to be stuck there for hours too. Also, the facility is extremely clean and well kept. Parking is free and aplenty right in front of the entrance. Anyhow, if I ever have to get anything done related to occupational health again, I would definitely go out of my way to visit the Placentia location in the future.

I dropped the form off and it sat for days until I called then 2 more days and was told I had to take it to the original dr at the first concentra facility near my job which is far from home. So after waiting over 1 week I took the form back to the original treating dr and 3 days later it was ready to pick up, then you have to mail it. Ridiculous!! Go somewhere else.

I think I've seen all the therapists there at least once but most of my work is with Dave and Lauren. Both are amazing, knowledgeable and really listen to you as a patient to address your concerns and work towards your progress. I love that they incorporate some eastern medicine to their routine. First PT that I've been to that does cupping and scraping, I LOVE IT! Facility is clean and they make efforts to keep it that way. You constantly see the staff wiping things down and disinfecting once a patient is done with their room/table/station. It is clear that patient wellbeing is their priority!
