I love this place! I have the thickest most unruly and unmanageable eyebrows lol. A lot of threading places will make them way too thin and irritate my skin... never happens here. These women always make them look amazing and give the perfect shape! There are a few new threading salons popping up in the neighborhood but I will go out of my way to come here because they are the absolute BEST. I have super sensitive skin, and after a longtime fear of waxing after bad experiences in other salons, Salma eased me back in to it painlessly, and I have been a loyal customer ever since. The space is clean, everybody that works there is super friendly and laid back, and the prices can't be beat. I have my own can of waxing sugar that they keep on site for me, and she is great about reminding me when I am due to come in. For threading, all of the ladies at the salon are great - quick, and thorough, they are good at shaping your eyebrows without overdoing it. Terrible staff! So strange. Was decided to pick up some hair products salma suggested me few hair products few days back but she wasnt there when i walked in and the sales girl actually discouraged me from buying the one product I was going to get and had no good recommendations. I'll stick with CO Bigelow Zitomers or Sephora. She was too rude! last month when salma did my eyebrows it came out really good and i was recomened by my boss and had a good experience but this time she wasnt there and i gave a try to other girl she fucked up my eyebrows I have never given a bad review for threading. Threading is threading. Its fast and it hurts a little. Wipe those tears, and suck it up. But this was the worst threading experience I've ever had. I went in for a quick threading, it was fast alright but SHE RIPPED OFF A PIECE OF MY EYELID. I was like oww. and annoyyed. I have a high tolerance for pain. I'm like ok whatever. I check the mirror and I see the skin was a little raw and I did not see the nick. The next day, I see it. its like scratching the skin with a needle and cutting through the skin. crusty with blood after 1 day. I will take pictures and post it here. read more

No complaints really, regular eyebrow threading salon. Nice people work here, it is a bit hot though so I would recommend putting the AC on or getting an AC. When I was getting my eyebrows threaded I was sweating a lot it was very very hot so I recommend fixing that as that is the only issue I have, and you can't really call that an issue :-) read more

Just got my legs waxed and a Brazilian and I couldn't be happier with the service. Seriously. Ask for Dimpy (pronounced like Dempy); she's the best. She's really nice and attentive to detail so I left with what may have been the best waxing I've ever gotten. I've paid everything from $27 to $110 for a Brazilian, and this was the most painless and thorough one I've gotten. Especially for the incredibly reasonable price. Dimpy uses a numbing oil so it hurts so much less, and I didn't leave feeling burned or sticky. She also threads any of the little or ingrown hairs so it's better than an after-thought plucking job for sure. Spring is here so it's important to wax several times to get that perfect smooth skin by summer. Start now y'all! read more

I used to go to an expensive place downtown for my Brazilian waxes. When I moved to Bed Stuy three years ago, I was skeptical to try this place. They have AMAZING AND CHEAP Brazilian waxes and eyebrow threading. They give you the option of buying your own container of wax for the Brazilian bikini waxes. They number the can of wax and keep it for you (like a box at a nail salon). It makes me feel more comfortable that no one else is dipping into the same wax. Also, every 10th Brazilian is free. Avoid, started going to them when the first opened up. Was loving the fact that you have your own box your name and number are placed on it so you know it's only being used by you. Now I've been with them for some time however recently I went for my monthly Brazilian and always check before they start and this day didn't bother to since I have never had a problem, something told me to check and when I looked at the wax omg it had some one else's name. Was so mad I haven't been back since and I won't recommend this place again but what's funny I just paid for my service and kept it moving so upset more at myself but figured I would let you all know what they are doing to there customers read more

This is my spot for threading and waxing. These ladies are the best: so sweet, thorough, professional. I usually go after work and there's never a wait. For $20 you can get your own tub of wax that they only use on you. It's a nice personalized touch. After reading the excellent reviews on yelp i decided to try this spot instead of going into the city to my usual place. I am pissed as hell that the lady who did my brows just kinda did whatever she wanted after i throughly expressed my wishes not to have my brows thinned out. She completely changed the shape of my brows and i am now forced to work make-up magic so i dont have the suprised look all day. She was very off putting and tried to make up some B.S. excuse as to why my brows ended up the way they did. Being forced to check her A**, she then admitted her lack of attention to detail, apologized and did not charge for her services. Although, she tried to soften the situation at the end, i would pay twice or three times what they charge to get what i want/ask for. Will i go back!?!....not worth the headache. read more

i went to this place because of all the reviews. had a really painful experience...of all the bikini waxes i've ever done that was the most painful and most money...the whole time, they kept on pushing extra services and products. trying to avoid as much pain as possible i opted for some numbing spray and some type of wax ... it did absolutely nothing for me. and beforehand since i assumed i'd be frequenting there, me having my own can of wax seemed like a great idea but i just feel like i wasted my money. not only that she tried to do with her bare hands and i didn't even see her wash her hands or anything like that. plus i got so much ingrowns from it. :( read more
