When you find a threading spot that is up the block from your house and they don't thread until your brow looks like a pencil line!! I'm probably not the person to ask, b/c I don't go in saying make sure they are even, don't take to much hair from the left brow, I want my arch to be higher and so on. I literally go in to any one of the workers and say "I just need it to look clean". Every place I go to the women look at me like...she can't be serious...LOL! But I am. When they're done I look and most of the time say.. GREAT! Which, I did here. Just make sure I don't look like a hairy beast and I'm happy...LOL! read more

I was so happy to find my new go to eyebrow place. Everyone who works here is highly skilled and laidback. It is very easy for me to communicate what I need done and they are always attentive and do an excellent job. I always walk out of their feeling gorgeous with my cleaned up brows. I personally find threading doesn't make my skin as red as waxing but everyone's body is different. Good for walk-ins. I have never waited more than 5 minutes. Not quite sure why this place has such stellar reviews. I've been here twice for eyebrows. The first was just okay, I had to go home and polish them up myself. Second time I grew them out for months and asked for shaping... she shaped my eyebrows by cutting them all over instead of threading them to create shape. WORST EYE BROW THREADING EXPERIENCE EVER ! I had to ask the woman 3 times to thread more hair because she didn't shape my eyebrows what so ever and she left them very thick on the ends. I stressed over finding the "Right" place to wax. Didn't know if I was even ready to give up the Nair/Veet life. I found this gem in July '17. Met the owner Soni and felt instantly comfortable. She told me the length was fine and she would take care of me. I wanted a Brazilian and underarms waxed. Must've been outta my mind for this to be my 1st time, knowing I hate pain. I hadn't changed in 8 months at that time. Crossing my fingers and having faith, I asked Soni to do her thing. And that's why she did. I'm not gonna lie, it hurt like hell. I was like, "what did I get myself into?" Lol But here I am, almost 2 yrs later still going to allow only Soni to take care of my lady parts. Soni makes me feel so comfortable, I no longer feel anxiety. Which by the way, makes you think the pain is more than it is. She puts your mind at ease. We start talking or I listen to my music and then it's over! The shop even has discount cards that is signed everytime you get a service. You can get 50% every 5th service. It's sooooo worth it. I've brought my cwrkr/ friend to her shop as well and held her hand during her 1st Brazilian. Soni didn't do it but she was still satisfied with the service that she now goes alone.
