Would you believe the other ladies actually called their other branch (about a block away) to get her to come over??? I tried to tell them it was okay I'll go with someone else but they insisted because they wanted me to get the service from the exact person I came to. Upon her arrival Dipa gave me the most therapeutic eyebrow threading. That's the only way I can describe it. I've had great work done at other places and yeah I used to think the end justified the pain but not after today! I was even sad when it was over. Very little pain, no fuss, she followed my instructions to the letter. Now I have the perfect arch again, full, but clean arch. My facelift is over till next time. They are professional, courteous and quick. Ladies and gentlemen I kid you not it was well worth it. In fact at $7. I feel as though it was free. I have been to the other Blossom brows location nearby on 5th ave and 11st and have had a much much better experience there. Avoid this location for eyebrow threading. I have thin brows to begin with. The woman (a Latina woman, do not know her name) did a terrible job. Shape and arch were all off, not aligned at all and the arch is horrible. My advice is to stick to the other locations. Guess I'll have to try to correct as much as I can when I get home with my pencil!!! ***update** the owner Rinku contacted me very shortly after I posted the review to apologize and ask if I wanted to come back to have it fixed. She also offered the next service free of charge. Very nice of her and good customer service on her part, however, in my opinion, all the technicians should be properly trained in all advertised services. If they are not trained then they should advise customers to wait for a different, more experienced technician for that particular service. read more

This place doesn't deserve a one star this lady roll her eyes after I nicely told her that I wanted my eyebrows to be clean up not to take away my thick brows and made it thin, it's a shame because I been going there over a year on and off and I never had this problem with them it's just her. her name is neehu or something like that she was very ugly in spirt as of her appearance , she roll her eyes made my beautiful thick brows thin, she didn't apologize honestly I shouldn't even pay them for the bad service and bad job. Neetu is my first preference for service for my eyebrows and lashes. She is the absolute best. She is highly skilled, wondering customer service and all around nice woman. She seems to get along well with her colleagues and helpful to them as well. I have use the other technicians when our schedule conflicts and they are also nice but there is something about how Neetu pays attention to all details and makes sure her service is impeccable. It would be great if she could train the others, it would love the profile of the shops and provide better service overall. She is always swamped and highly requested. Whenever Neetu works in this location I head over here. I've been coming to Blossom Brows for years and Neetu is the only person I trust my eyebrows with, I trust her so much that I recently moved to Queens and I still come over to Brooklyn just for her. She always leaves them right on point and I never had a complaint about her. Whenever I go she always has other people waiting for her, that's how good she is! I love Blossom Brows. I used to drive to Williamsburg to get my eyebrows threaded until I stumbled upon this place earlier this year. They have two locations in Park Slope. One on 5th ave and the other on 9th st. The 5th ave location is always busy, so this one is my go to spot. The technicians are always different but, they are consistent with the quality of service. They charge $6 for eyebrow threading and it is totally worth every penny. They accept cc and also provide a wide range of services. read more

So I really hate to give this place a 3 because they were so nice and CLEAN! I even loved my 1st threading experience & the shape!!! However I also got my eyebrows tinted for the first time and I'm very confused because less 24hrs later I see no tint! Is it me?! This is my go-to eyebrow threading spot! When no one is available here, i go to their other location on 5th avenue in Park Slope (11th street). I usually have a different eyebrow technician each time I come and sometimes I will see a familiar face, but I don't know them by name. They make sure your eyebrows are even and have that fresh just-threaded look. I couldn't give them 5-stars though because there was one lady who kept putting her body super close to me while she threaded my brows. She was a heavier set woman, and she apologized a few times, but it was super uncomfortable. read more

I see her in this location or in 5th Avenue 10th Street depending on where she'll be working on the day I make my appointment. Eyebrow BUTCHERS....I have been going here for nearly a year. I used to see the same person, but the last 2 times I've had different technicians, who don't follow directions. I asked them to leave my eyebrows thick...each took WAY TOO MUCH OFF...I look like Whoopi Goldberg in the 80s...when I asked for the tint, she did it darker than I wanted, then put it all over my face to cover up the fact that she took off too much brow. In their defense, they were nice and didn't charge me for the brows...this doesn't make up for the fact that I have to live with their shoddy work until my eyebrows grow back. Blossom brows has been my go to threading spot for years. The staff rotates between this location and the 5th ave location, just a short few blocks away. This smaller location is great to hit up when the bigger one is busy. I love that I can trust each and every employee to do a flawless job every time. They are clean, patient and friendly. Over the years I have done lashes, tinting, threading and facials..all of which were great experiences. The staff are perfectionists and always go the extra step to make sure you leave happy. It can can get busy at times, but it's worth the small wait. You will never feel like the job was rushed, will leave better looking, and the prices are un beatable. read more

It is a small place and I came as a walk-in for a deep-clean facial. Friendly staff but the private room for facials is very small. Very very small. When Sushma wanted to pick something up from the floor her whole body leaned on top of me. A little to intimate to my taste with someone I just shook hands with for the first time. Also the partition is so small that the steam machine, while heating up, spat boiling water on my bare arm. As I was putting on my clothes at the end of the session I noticed that my t-shirt got rather wet as well in the process... The esthetician was apologetic about the burning water but left in the middle of my session to help a client to pay for an outstanding amount.. not very chill. What was chill, were the towels used. She put on at least 10-15 different lotions and potions and every time she wiped them away with ice-cold towels (this is February in NY, hence her very cold hands but they got warmer as she worked on the face massages). It is very dark in the room. That is good for relaxation but not for a deep-clean facial. She couldn't have seen any uncleanliness or areas that needed some extra attention for there was no special light for her to work with. (1 hour treatment including a 10 minute mask) Included was threading of the brows and she did a wonderful job. She also attended to my 'brows' on my upper lip and chin (additional price) and although painful, that was very effective and a nice job done. Will I come back? For brows yes, for a facial no. Not because it was really bad but I didn't feel pampered and needed to extra deep clean the area around my nose at home. In comparison to other salons it was not expensive but for me $61 was pricy for the experience. read more

So my mom has been telling me about this place she goes to for eyebrow threading. I did threading twice in a my life,, fool me once, shame on you,, fool me twice,,, you get the drift!! Yesterday, mom tried to convince me to get my eyebrows threaded by "her" ladies! I have extremely sensitive skin, and a waxing makes my face blow up like a tomato! Threading is no different. I dont know, mom got me in a vulnerable time, and I agreed to try it again. I am blown away. Clean, and relaxing, the threading commenced, and I could feel how fast the girl was working. She was so gentle. I won't say painless, I am too honest, but it was far better than most waxing I have experienced. I am so grateful that I listened to my momma!!! I have a new place that will see me as often as I need. As all I did was my eyebrows, and mom was getting some more services another lady walked in. Walked in three ladies standing in front of me i asked are you closed? ,no one said anything, i walked closer and asked again are you closed so one said brows and i said yes. She then told the other two something in their language and they shook their heads.So she told me sit , as i was putting my hair up i asked can you do sides and she said ooh no brows only so i told her okay so maybe tomorrow then she quickly said okay ill do it. She rushed and i asked can u do the forehead (its mostly baby hair) she said ooh i told you brows only so i said okay then she started saying they are waiting for me i told you brows only. She should of said yes tomorrow when i told her tomorrow. It was not going to be a free service. I was not rude , she didnt need to be rude either. So I'm a little late writing this review.....my bad. I will try keep this short and sweet (and sour). Came here a few weeks ago, I got my eyebrows threaded/ tinted and eyelash extentions by this nice Asian girl (sorry forgot her name). Positives: short wait time, pleasant staff, clean shop, pain free threading. Negatives: I don't think my girl knew what she was doing, I told her specifically how I wanted my eyebrows and she just couldn't excute it and the tinting was really blahh, I do a better job with my brown pencil! The worst of it was my eyelashes, she suggested the length which wasn't a good choice (ok, I could take that since I didn't have to listen), then she not only used too much glue but she put it too far in my eyelid. It felt like I had little pebbles in my eyes, it was so bad I started taking them off the next day (wish came off really easy by the way!). Overall, if they get more experienced technicans maybe I'll go back until then no thanks! read more

I am very disappointed with the eyebrow threading that I got here. The lady really messed up my eyebrows. They are so uneven and shaped just terribly. :( Now I have to find another place that can fix it or just wait till they grow back. Not going back. It's cheap treading but I would much rather pay a couple dollars more and not have messed up eyebrows. read more

I've been here twice, and used to go to the sister salon on 5th ave, as well. I've been threading for over a decade so I'm pretty well-versed. I'm pretty satisfied with the eyebrow threading I got here! It's definitely worth the price as long as you can be very clear about what you want. I find it helps to come in with a picture or drawing-it really just comes down to a language barrier. read more
