Ray from Excellence Garage Doors came to my home to fix our garage door which would not open. He was able to come right away which was much appreciated. Once he arrived and we spoke for a bit, I could tell I was in very capable hands. Ray is not only extremely knowledgeable but also very personable and friendly. He explained the situation that the prior homeowner had insufficient springs for the type of door we have and the other company tried to overcompensate for this by adding more springs which degraded the carriage. He offered 2 options, one to fix just the carriage which would be a quick fix and the cheapest option or to also replace the springs. The first option was $149 and I was sure the 2nd option would be significantly higher. To my surprise it was only $249 total. Ray completed his work very efficiently and expertly and through talking with him I realized what an honest genuine caring person he is. No wonder he has so many great reviews..he is an outstanding person and I would never use anyone but Ray and would refer him with great confidence to anyone in need. Within 10 minutes, I had an appointment with them. Unbelievably fast customer service. He answers texts, phone calls, and emails. When he came to replace my garage door spring, he greeted me and my family and went right to work. He got the job done in a fast timely fashion and even left us a business card for future repairs. Excellent job with my garage door repair. Raymond was great. He explained everything that he was doing (and why) and answered all my "many" questions. Got the job done in no time. He lubricated all points and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. When you call for a service appointment, I think we're all used to the "approximate" time given as give or take a couple hours, right?
