Definitely saved me close to $200 or maybe more. Most important and noteworthy these boys just jumped at the chance 2X (because I had neglected to bring my wheel lock key that Honda City his in my ownership folder ... yeah, that's where it belongs). They had the car jacked up minutes after I pulled in both times and fixed the hole in a few more minutes. This place is great. Reminds me of a family friend from childhood, Russ, over at Circle Tire in Jamaica, who always took care of my family's needs back in the day. I have a new place to save me and my car.

I can PROMISE you those two reviews before me were either PAID for or from family friends or long time customers who receive preferential treatment or just plain bogus. My left rear went flat on a Thursday. That Friday, I went to work with the intent of getting the tire replaced after I was off for the week. I had forgotten my wallet at home, and during my lunch hour, drove home to retrieve it. On the way, my right rear tire went flat with my spare already in use on the other side of my car. Long story short, I signed up for AAA, and got towed to this dingy, dirty, literal hole in the wall. They were the closest, "cheapest", place to get towed to. (I purposely chose Firestone because I have warranties on my tires through them.) When I got there w/ the tow truck driver, an employee hops in my car and drives it through the smallest, most unimpressive entryway into a shop I've ever seen. The entrance was extremely difficult to find and on the side of the pathetic, dilapidated building. They closed the door before I could enter so I had to walk around the building to get inside. (Mind you, I had spent several hours the past 2 days in below-0 wind chills and was quite annoyed at my extra minute or 2 in the cold.) I got inside and the guy who supposedly spoke on the phone with me called me over and said he would "take care of me". He said they were looking at the car briefly while I made up my mind on how I might address the issue. After a few minutes of waiting, he tells me that not only do I have to get the 2 rear tires replaced, but a 3rd tire had a small piece breaking off the sidewall "bad enough to need to replace the tire" and that he "needs to sell me 4 tires" if my 2010 Subaru is AWD: All-Wheel-Drive. (He obviously was clueless that ALL new Subaru models are AWD, except the BRZ which is RWD). Then, moments after, he's feeding me some BS by telling me I HAVE to replace all 4 tires because the tread difference will ruin my drivetrain. AGAIN, my remaining 2 good tires, which have been on my vehicle for exactly TWO MONTHS to the date and have almost ZERO tread loss now need to be replaced?? And because supposedly that mere fraction of a difference will destroy my drivetrain?? This is ALSO not true. If you call Subaru, they will tell you they uphold their drivetrain warranty as long as the tread difference isn't more than 3/32nds of an inch. Maybe this fool thought I would give-in to his manipulative sales BS because I was dressed in my work clothes and was a few decades younger? Maybe he's just ignorant to the facts? Who freakin knows... So get this, THEN the owner tries to tell me I need to make up my mind already (we've spent 2-4 minutes discussing the issue and I've spent less than a couple min trying to make up my mind. So naturally bothered by his lack of knowledge, service, and business-wherewithal, I called AAA to see how much it would be to tow me to the Firestone in Westbury that sold me my tires (btw, great service, great prices!!) After about a minute and with some rude gusto, he started interrupting my call w/AAA to tell me that "You need to make up your mind already and buy some tires or get your car off MY lift and get it off MY property" and followed that with: "Im a benevolent guy, but I'm not THAT benevolent. No matter what, I'm going to charge you for time YOUR car has been on MY lift!" (I've never had this happen. Didn't ask him to put my car on the lift. Didn't know it was on the lift. Didn't get prior disclosure there would be cost for this.) Taken aback by this clueless idiot blessing me with his supposed benevolence, I payed MORE money for a SECOND tow and took my business to the certified Firestone in Westbury just to prove my point, while his classless didn't-fall-from-the-tree employee laughed at me from inside the closing shop doors as my car was put on the 2nd tow truck. To the owner: I hope this review is part of your business' undoing. I'm a benevolent guy. But I'm not THAT benevolent.

I had a very disappointing experience with this shop due to poor diagnosis and refusal to take…read moreaccountability. I brought my Jeep in with an engine issue and was told I needed to replace the O2 sensors. I paid for the parts and labor based on their diagnosis. When the issue persisted, I took my Jeep to an official Jeep mechanic, who identified the actual root problem as a valve cover gasket leak -- something that should have been diagnosed from the start. Because the valve cover gasket was leaking oil, it contaminated the brand-new O2 sensors this shop had me replace, rendering them ineffective. In other words, I paid for parts that never should have been installed until the real issue was addressed. When I raised this with the original mechanic, they refused to offer a refund or take responsibility, despite the fact that their misdiagnosis directly caused unnecessary expenses and additional damage. I fully expect a defensive response to this review claiming these facts are untrue. They are not. I have documentation from Jeep supporting this diagnosis and the sequence of events. I am sharing this so other customers can make an informed decision and avoid paying for repairs that do not address the actual problem. Mistakes happen -- but how a business handles them matters. Unfortunately, this shop chose not to stand behind their work. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before authorizing repairs here.
