For the last several years the alarm didn't work properly and kept going off for no reason. Each time my wife and I would have to leave work, drive home, and check for burglars otherwise the police would be sent and we would pay for it. Countless technicians came out and assured us it was fixed until finally we got an actual honest one who showed us that the alarm NEVER WORKED in the first place. That's right- the entire 17 years we paid them to keep us safe they were lying to us. At some point before we moved in the windows must have been re-done so all of the sensors were removed. Yet for so many years and so many technicians no one else could figure that out or admit that. They would just override the window issue and leave. We paid these people to keep us safe for 17 years and it was all a lie. The alarm system never worked properly and they knew it. Now that it's been a few months since we cancelled- the alarm STILL keeps going off! I had to relocate my family and my pets to sleep in an office last night because every alarm in our house was going off. Of course we called Boyd but wouldn't you know it- "someone would have to call me back in the morning." They never called. We just finished ripping all of their garbage "equipment" out of the walls with screwdrivers and knives (Boyd refuses to remove all of their crap if you dare cancel service- they just charge you to install it and then you're on your own.) You'd be better off just leaving your doors and windows open and inviting burglars in. Literally go with ANY OTHER COMPANY than these crooks. The worst service of all time.

Not only were they the best available price, but were able to get things set up very quickly. They are always available if issues arise (always my fault, nothing wrong with the system), and have reached out on numerous occasions to check that everything is working and to our satisfaction. For me, being able to talk to experienced personnel, who are familiar with our system, and not dealing with a remote call center is very important, and they have excelled in that aspect. Jason, who is part of their support staff, went out of his way to help with a minor issue I was having in real time, and fixed the problem. He even personally walks packages and mail over to our location if they are delivered to their unit instead of ours. The installation technician Tyler was extremely helpful in setting up our system, and took additional time to walk me through the system and it's functions, including how the sensors work, where they are placed, and the control panel and remote app to ensure that I was able to use the system properly.
