When I looked on Yelp about mounting my TV, Pacific Video Sound & Security popped up with a 5 star rating with 15 reviews within the past year or two. After speaking with and texting Scott, we agreed on a price and time/day to have the mount done with wiring hidden and sound bar mounted. Scott asked me to send a pic of the sound bar to make sure it could be mounted to the TV. After doing so, he said it would work. Upon arrival and half way through the job, several issues came up. Of course, he "somehow" wasnt able to mount the sound bar to the TV. Not the biggest deal but that's what I expected. I was still in the process of moving into my new apartment when I noticed Scott smoking by his truck in the parking lot (in the middle of a job he charges by the hour!) When I returned to my room, the room smelt like smoke alot so I kindly asked him to no longer smoke while on the job (reasonable right?). He replied, "I have never been told that before".....umm sure buddy. Moving forward, after the installation took place I thought everything was fine. Soon after, my TV (bought only a year ago, no issues before the mount) continues to turn off by itself every 15 mins. I cant even watch anything before it turns off. When he was installing it, Scott mentioned that he was going to use a power strip (which was technically illegal) within the wall to minimize cost. No knowing about mounting since I am not the professional, I agreed. When I reached out to Scott about these issues, I figured he would be willing to fix his own job because clearly there was some issue with the line he wired. See the most unprofessional and disrespectful responses I get from a guy who has supposedly been doing this for 20+ years. LIES!!!! He had the worst personality and demeanor I have ever seen. Basically, I would describe him as the junkyard dollar tree handyman who clearly doesn't know his profession and wont even admit to issues occurring after he finished a job. Absolutely pathetic, the reviews on his profile are clearly made by friends or family because I have never had an issue this bad before. This should serve as a big time warning for anyone looking utilizing their business services. read more

Scott installed a full surround sound system for our entertainment area in our family room and it's AWESOME!! This included recessed speakers, new floated sound bar, mounted our TV and hardwired the receiver and other components. I'm not well versed enough in the equipment to specify all of what he did, but we LOVE IT.
