Natalia's experience quickly narrowed down a few styles for me and she helped me breeze through try-ons for over a dozen dresses during my private appointment in her bright, cheery shop. We decided a custom style, pulling inspiration from a few gowns, was best for my unique vision. She was so talented and quickly sketched up a sample for me and took measurements. Contract signed and payment up front, all I had to do was wait for their skilled seamstresses to do their magic. Turmoil in Eastern Europe delayed the arrival of my dress since it was caught up in customs with significant shipping delays through Feb/March. Natalia proactively communicated updates to me and moved mountains to get my dress to NY on time, with a backup dress tailored for me and ready to go just in case. 7 days before the wedding, we were thrilled that my original dress arrived and Natalia personally hand sewed a few final adjustments for me while I was in the shop, making sure I had peace of mind and left with my beautiful dress in hand. Friends and family commented all weekend that my dress was like a fairytale, that I looked like a princess, and that it was incredibly special. It's basically a self-serve shop. You stand there go through all of the dresses, bring them into a very tiny dressing room, and try them on by yourself. No one to help you get in and out of the dress, zip it up, clamp it if necessary. Luckily I had both my daughters there to help me get in and out of the dresses and bring in and out of dressing room. For the MOB selection is decent, but most of the dresses are very very ornate.

After making appointments with two well known bridal shops in NYC, I learned about Rebecca's designs and knew I had to try them on. As a plus sized bride, I had a lot of apprehension about stores not having options that would work for my body. But every dress in her collection comes in size 00-30! When I arrived for my appointment, I was in excellent hands with experienced design consultants Rose and Ellen. They were so patient and fun guiding me through trying on a bunch of different dresses - including several mix and match options! I was surprised by the dress I ended up falling in love with (the Shannon gown) but I felt so beautiful in it and Rose and Ellen really went above and beyond. I also just want to shout out the location - if you're located in NYC, you can take the Metro North straight there, and I mean literally straight to the studio. When you get off the train (45 min ride), it's a short walk through a super cute former industrial area that's now all restaurants and little shops, and the studio is right on the Hudson. My mom, grandma, mother-in-law, and 2 bridemaids came with me to help find my dress and I'm happy to share that I said "Yes to the Dress". The overall experience was seamless from making my appointment on the phone with Virginia to the receiving a follow-up call and email to ensure that everything was ready for me ahead of my appointment from my Bridal Consultant Lou Lou, who is AMAZING! I was welcomed immediately and made to feel appreciated and taken care from the moment I entered the door. I live a few blocks away from the bridal shop and always walk by it on my way to City Centre so when I got engaged this summer, I obviously wanted to ensure that I had an appointment set up here, especially knowing that I always had seen beautiful dresses on display on their window. I also liked what I had seen on their website. I was treated like a princess and felt like one when trying on my dresses. There is a wide assortment of dresses and designers across price ranges as this place was a lot bigger than I thought once inside. From the start I had a Calla Blanche dress in mind and low and behold, the first dress I tried on and chose was a Calla Blanche, although different than the one I had seen online. I maybe tried on 8 dresses or so and Lou Lou helped me narrow down my options via process of elimination. I explained to her the style I was looking for, budget, and she made sure we had a great assortment of dresses to try on and have fun with. By the time it came to choosing my dress, I may have tried it on 3 times and loved it more each time. (Even got a bit emotional so I knew it was the one). Funny enough it wasn't even the style I thought I had in mind, which is why you must try these on! My family and friends were made to feel very comfortable and welcomed also which I appreciated. The space is comfortable and clean inside. There was one other bride also trying on dresses at the same time but she was on the other side of me and did not interfere with my experience so no concerns there. I had a lot of fun. I had a nice dressing room and Lou Lou there to help with each dress and the clips + got to see my dress at all stages of the day with the mirror that changes lighting. It was pretty neat. Lou Lou was the ultimate hype woman and got my family & friends engaged in the process too - she announced me each time, had the music going, it was fun. I had a feeling I would find my dress here and am happy to say that I did. The only thing that stings a bit is that I went wayyyyy over budget with the dress and the "looks". The dress itself was within budget but I was upsold on an additional piece that really did make the dress and look extra "WOW" but I maybe could have done without. I can also blame my family and friends for their reactions, they loved it. So I'm not too upset about it and am excited to walk down the aisle in it and hope my fiancé also goes "WOW" :). I can't wait to try on my dress in a few months. For those brides purchasing kindly note the sale price is final so be 100% sure and alteration price is not included. The day of the wedding it would not budge. Knowing that she was open on Friday, I called her up while I was getting ready. I asked her if i can come in so she can fix it. Although it couldn't be fixed at that time she sewed it up and I made it to the church in 20 min. She was a savior! I dont know what else I would have done if she wasnt available.

This mark didn't exists when I dropped off the dress. When the next day (48 hrs before wedding) it was still there, she stopped replying to my messages. The front of my strapless dress was lopsided becoz she had removed boning to create room around the back zipper, so much so that she offered putting pads to fill the giant gap between my chest and the front. She has no idea how to do French bustles and instead suggests inverted-cones by pulling the dress up and pinning on the outside. Unprofessional and irresponsible. Not to mention how she runs a sweat shop in her garage, working the seamstress on weekends and odd hours.

It's a bit tricky if you have non-traditional proportions -- I'm a 40-26-32. It was solved by buying a size 16 that I'm going to have altered to fit my size 3 waist. They sent fabric swatches for my wedding party, they respond to my emails right away, and the customer service is AWESOME!!!!
