He never even balked at the timeframe. My family left their dresses with another tailor in the area months prior, and found that that tailor hadn't even started the work the night before. Mr. Simonetti finished my dresses in that 4-day period and they were done before my family's (who now wish they'd gone to Mr. Simonetti in the first place!). Other comments say he's a bit brusque, but my goal was to have my alterations done quickly and properly. They were. I would recommend him to anyone.

I then returned the next week and they'd lost the ribbon. The middle-aged woman not only did not apologize but was outrageously rude behaving as if I were in the wrong. Finally, several days later I returned yet again and the elderly gentleman was very kind acknowledging that the ribbon had been torn due to its age. The middle-age woman with whom I had dealt should be let go. She has no business interacting with customers, particularly since the rate for their services is high.

At the new Greenwich studio, I worked with Humberto, the lead fitter, and he was fantastic--friendly, professional, and put me completely at ease. The studio itself is gorgeous: stylish, chic, and perhaps one of the nicest Alts locations I've been to. Plus, there's plenty of parking right on Putnam Avenue, which makes it super convenient. I recently brought in more than 10 garments (dresses, sweaters, skirts and jeans). Mix of complex and simple alterations. It's incredible that they are able to handle everything with ease. I also needed some outfits rushed for an event and the team was able to accommodate my short window. Within just 3 days I got an email that everything was ready for pickup--and the tailoring was flawless! For my senior prom, I went here to get my tuxedo and I wanted it to be perfect. To ensure I got everything right, I asked Mr.Zemo if I could try on a couple different jackets and shirts. Every single time I asked for a new one, he groaned and acted like it was so physically taxing to take a jacket off the rack. Isn't that your job? Why should you make the customer feel badly for wanting to try on other options? At one point he even said to me, "the faster you try on the jacket the faster you get out of my store". Dude, I understand acting a bit offensive as part of a gag, but Mr.Zemo continuously crossed the line as it got to a point where I genuinely felt like he didn't want my business. I kept my composure throughout the entire experience which was hard because he was getting on my nerves, and I made sure I was respectful, but I was just interrupted with "WHAT?" Or some other bitterness. The quality of the tux itself was good, aside from some broken buttons on the shirt sleeve. In my opinion, I just regret giving this business my money because Mr. Zemo does NOT deserve it. Go to someone who is kind and willing to help rather than an old man who complains at every given opportunity.
