They completely ripped me and my groomsmen off. We had to order suits from a catalog that they provided since they didn't have the exact style we wanted in store. When the suit came in for a try on, the color of the suit was way off than what was on the catalog and did not fit like how it showed in the catalog. We were told last week, we can cancel but wouldn't get the deposits back. 2 out of 5 of the groomsmen paid full. They refused to give back the overage they paid besides the deposit. We were also told everyone can only get their deposits back as store credit. Why would we want store credit after we were not satisfied at all with the service or quality? We were told by Jim, that I had until today to cancel my order. He called me today telling me all the suits just came in. Mind you my wedding is on September 18, 2022. WHY ARE THEY IN 1.5 WEEKS BEFORE? When we put our deposits down, they said the suits would be ready for pickup the Thursday before the wedding. Today is 2 Thursdays before. Now we're being told since the suits are already here, we cant even get the deposits as store credit. The employees here have zero regard for customer service, have zero empathy for their customers, and can care less about giving their customers value. I came here because of the reviews from online and word of mouth. But obviously something is wrong here. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. I'm not sure who are these so-called bad reviewers but they must smoking something. A few weeks ago I wanted to rent a Tux so went online to see what was available in the Norwalk area. I read some of these bad reviews about Camillo's but decided to go and see for myself. Well those bad reviewers were WRONG ! Camillo's was professional, polite, friendly and mostly importantly, they had exactly what I needed; a classic tux. Had the Tux ready on time, fit me perfectly and the wife loved how it looked on me ! Home run guys ! Also, Camillo's honest too ! I left my Go Pro mini cam in the pants pocket but when I called they had it for me. I was beyond happy that they found and held it for me to pick up. My high school aged son rented a tuxedo for a prom that was then delayed due to the death of a student. When he rented for the rescheduled prom, Camillo's did not charge him again. How very thoughtful, empathetic, and kind! We will always rent from Camillo's in the future. Thank you. read more

A family-run business, Camillo's is a perfect example of "we've always done it this way" mentality. As a groom, I considered dressing in tails. The suggestions of the owner, likely a 2nd generation operator, indicated to me that he was generally familiar with basic formal attire, but was out of his depths when greater sophistication was needed. Shockingly, he spent some effort attempting to instruct me on the basics, including an admonition of "no sagging". As a middle-aged man wearing a tailored Hickey Freeman suit that WASN'T hanging off my hips, I realized this man was not only an idiotic, but racist, as well. The store may be adequate for the down-and-dirty prom rental, but it is not a place to rely upon their expertise. Go to Stamford or Rye Brook for better options. read more

First off, I found Camillo's to be helpful and VERY professional. The gentleman who helped me (Willie) was awesome, pulling out countless jackets and pants out to find the one that had the best cut and style for me, with nothing but a smile on his face the entire time. As for the bad review submitted by Vinny, if you look at his other reviews, you will see that he is nothing but a basher.. there is not a single review he has posted anywhere that is not negative and complaining. David N. who also published a negative review (going by the classy name of "DeathxMetalxRockstar" has, while claiming that Camillo is rude, published some of the most repulsive and vulgar commentary for other business as well. The only exceptions was for a liquor store where his friend worked, or for Huntington Dog Beach, where he tells, in the most vulgar language, how he found it endlessly amusing that his dog urinated on a woman he didn't know, and then defecated on the beach. I would consider the source of these two bad reviews before you lend them any credibiltiy. Camillo's was great! I recommend it highly. read more

Great store, staff, and selection. Jim who was very pleasant, patient, and helpful, assisted my fiancé and I in the selection of the rental tuxes for our bridal party. My fiancé purchased his tuxedo from them. It's lovely, priced fairly, and was shipped quickly from California. Sadly, we had to postpone our wedding to 2021 due to COVID. We look forward to continue working with them next year. These are definitely the guys to see for your tux needs. Best location and prices compared to other places in CT and Westchester, NY. They also have another location in Orange, CT which is convenient for bridal party members who don't live close to the Norwalk location. Highly recommend! read more

BEST tux rental place in Connecticut! Don't waste your time with any other tux rental store. My son needed a tux for his Counties dance and not only did Camillo get him a great tux at a fantastic price but when the dance was delayed, we were told to just keep the tux an extra two weeks at no charge. I can't say enough good things about the friendly staff at the stores, the selection available, and how satisfied we were. I will only rent from Camillo's Tuxedo Specialist from now on! read more

I had gone here before, about a year ago and was really impressed! It was awesome! So we decided to go back for Prom 2018 . Unfortunately I will never rent a tux from here again . The whole process was rushed (took us about five minutes) and very expensive so I would say do not go here to get a tux. I really didn't enjoy the whole event the second time around. read more

I was pretty stressed out about what to do with my Tux rental situation for my wedding, as all of my groomsman where out of state, in completely different states. I figured it'd be easiest to go with Men's Warehouse or Jos A Bank, but I've heard nothing but nightmares about Men's Warehouse, got terrible service from all of the Jos A Bank's I went to in the area, and neither of them specialize in Tux's. Based on word of mouth and reviews I read online, I came here, and am definitely happy I did. They recommended I have my friends measured at tux places near them and send in the measurements, and the service I got was outstanding. They special ordered a jacket for me to better fit my upper body proportions (my arms are pretty long), knew exactly how a tux should fit and look, and their pricing was really good. I definitely recommend the place to anyone looking to rent or buy a tuxedo. read more

I decided that I wasn't going to go to Joseph A Bank to rent a tux as I hate their clothes. Instead I went to Camillo's. What a huge mistake. The garbage that they rent is a disgrace. I have a 36" inseam. The pants they gave me had a 30" inseam and a crotch that sagged 6" below my actual crotch. To make matters worse, the pant leg on both sides had fabric pulls on them. I didn't notice this until I was getting dressed. When I returned the tuxedo and complained, Camillo himself tried to tell me that it was a brand new tuxedo. HA! Maybe in 1985. The shirt they gave me looked fine in the lighting in the store but in the sunlight when I got home I realized that it was tired and greyish. The vest pocket had been repaired so many times the fabric was frayed. Don't spend $180 renting this garbage unless you are going to a prom. THIS IS NOT the place to go for a wedding and definitely NOT the place for any kind of formal engagement. Camillo's parting vulgarity continued as I left. I was told that I am not welcome there and they don't want customers like me. He barked that I can go spend a $1,000 on a tux next time. Sorry Camillo, I can buy a brand new Armani Tuxedo right now for $600. That's a better way to spend my money than renting an aged tuxedo that served only to upset me. read more
