My visit here was very disappointing. Very nice, but not very knowledgeable Sales girl was in the store. None of the dresses that I saw online on the website were in the store. It's basically a self-serve shop. You stand there go through all of the dresses, bring them into a very tiny dressing room, and try them on by yourself. No one to help you get in and out of the dress, zip it up, clamp it if necessary. Luckily I had both my daughters there to help me get in and out of the dresses and bring in and out of dressing room. For the MOB selection is decent, but most of the dresses are very very ornate. read more

Her and her staff welcome you with open arms and have such positive energy! They make you feel comfortable the whole time. The store itself is so beautiful with endless options. After searching for flower girl dresses for months (with limited places that sell them in the tri state area) I had an extremely disappointing and not pleasant experience at Nora's Bridal Boutique. I took my niece to look at a flower girl dress that was posted online with a price tag of $199 which seemed reasonable and I was willing to pay. After my niece had fallen in love with the dress, we decided we wanted to order a brand new one (not the one off the rack that had a broken zipper and discolored) the staff seemed helpful and confirmed it was in stock and we could order and ship to the store. When I had went to pay for it, the owner insisted on charging me $299 which was not the price on the tag of the dress. We pulled 4 other dresses of the same style number off the rack that had 3 different prices ($199, $220 and $299) Despite showing her the tag on the dress ($199), she refused to honor that price, claiming it was a mistake and that the dresses were being marked up and she had not gotten the chance to do so to all of them yet. I called the owner 3x Monday and it was impossible getting her on the phone or to respond to my message, however I left a voicemail to her stating that online it showed $199 and before she returned my call she fixed the website and raised it to $299. The owner was refusing to listen or answer why the pricing was different and could not back up her story other than telling me she would be so happy to cancel the order for me. I would not recommend this boutique to anyone looking for a wedding dress, prom or any other attire. The lack of transparency and poor customer service left a sour taste in my mouth. It's a shame because we had such high hopes for finding the perfect dress and the experience was far from pleasant. Safe yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for your bridal needs before going here (FYI: do your research before hand because I ended up finding the same flower girl dress designer under a different boutique for only $165!) read more

I drove from Long Island with my daughter to this particular bridal shop because they had a beautiful flower girl dress that our bride was interested in. On Nora's website, where we browsed the dresses, the one we loved was $199. When we arrived at the shop in Tarrytown, we found that dress that we loved online, marked $199, plus 5 more to try on. The staff was semi-attentive. They did seem preoccupied with prom girls, rather than us though. We tried the 5 dresses on my six year old daughter. Again, loving the one we found on her website. Upon heading to the register to order the dress in my daughter's size, we were told that the prices had changed "today" and the dress that was labeled both online and on the tag as $199, was now $299. The staff agreed to call Nora herself to provide clarity, but Nora was unyielding and said the price is $299 as of today. Absolutely stunned at being duped, we still put a down-payment on the dress and left. We figured we had no choice. Of course this didn't sit well with the bride, the mother of the bride and myself. So Monday when Nora returned, we again called to address the price. Nora did not return the call, and in fact, changed the price on the website to $299 right after we left the voicemail about her website price. When Nora finally returned the call, she was nasty on the phone, unyielding, and told us she'd be happy to cancel our order. Order cancelled. I would NEVER return to that store. Total scam. P.S. Used her online description and found exact dress online elsewhere for $165. So win win all around! read more

My best friend is getting married and had a particular color vision and vibe in mind for her bridesmaids. Nora's was a great experience for shopping and browsing a varied selection of dresses and fits. However, the dress I ended up buying (which was not cheap) is now falling apart on the hanger two weeks before the wedding without ever having been worn--and it's bad... the entire front of the dress' draping has fallen off multiple times and most recently exposed the entire front. Yes, you sign a no refund / returns policy at Nora's upon buying, which I acknowledge, but upon reaching out to the store to resolve this issue, I got no response at all. I cc'ed the designer as well (Bari Jay) who did respond but was very unhelpful and stood by the quality of their dresses despite the whole thing falling apart and me providing photographic evidence. And she said she spoke to the store owner, so the store just chose to ignore me? The dress is beautiful and flattering and I luckily found a stellar seamstress who a) fixed the dress quickly and b) reassured me that the way the dress was stitched was not well done or strong -- but would've loved to have help from either the store or the designer. Mistakes and product issues happen, I get it. But this was handled very poorly. For a big event like this and paying this much money for a dress (+ paying more to fix it) you shouldn't have to worry about a dress falling apart in advance of wearing it--it would've been worse if it was worn, which is the point of a dress ‍ read more

The experience was great at Nora's, however, the information Nora provided about how easily our dresses would be altered was unfortunately completely wrong. I now have a maid of honor dress that (despite hundreds of dollars in alterations!) fits very poorly and can not be altered any further. Very upsetting. read more
