I used to go to this car wash all the time as they did a good shampoo job. However, my past few experiences there have been terrible. Just drove from Bethel to this car wash. Got there at 4:35 and they closed early even though their hours are 5 o'clock. I asked someone that was still working and they were extremely rude and said come back tomorrow. Not sure what their website shows hours of 8-5 7 days a week. Usually closes 15-30 minutes early, an hour earlier in the winter time. I tried to go today at 3 and they were closed. Very frustrating to pay for unlimited service when I can only get 50% service. I started going there because it is touchless, but windows are usually streaked from their wipe down. This used to be a good car wash. It's not anymore. Although the car wash itself is adequate, the hand cleaning that they do, vacuuming and wipe down after the wash is poor. Even when they're not busy, they're not at all careful. They miss entire parts of the car. When you ask them to do something that they missed, they give you a weird look. Went today to get my car shampooed. Owner said he'd call when my car was done. Dropped it off at 815 and went back down around 130 because I didn't hear from them. My car was done and had been done! When I went to grab my mats some lady had the nerve to grab my arm and pull me away! Then continue to followed me trying to touch me and grab another mat out of my hand! This car was place used to be good years ago. The owner is rude and condescending, after I went inside to pay and he told me it was cash only. There are no signs outside saying this is a cash only business. Before I could even give him the cash I hand he was rude and told me to go walk to the supermarket down the street to pull money out of the ATM. I got my car washed here and they forgot to do the underside. I let the manager know and they washed the entire car all over again for free. That is outstanding customer service. Last year some idiot rolled a spray pin can into Post Rd in Westport, my left rear truck tire crushed it and the paint exploded and got the whole corner of my trailer. I was very upset with the work done! I brought my car there to get detailed and waxed. The car smelled the exact same as when I left it, the windows weren't cleaned, the seats were still soaking wet, and there was still dirt under and between the seats. Very upset! Horrible and lousy service. the person in charge was really rude to me because I didn't want to do the service and I said the I will look elsewhere that makes the service complete with the rugs. He started yelling saying that I couldn't go back and as I needed to get out of line I was forced to pay $12 for washing outside the car to leave the place which was not the service I wanted. when I said I wanted to talk to the manager they answered me screaming "whatever" and when I needed to maneuver the car to enter in the washing cycle because I need to get out he told me that he wouldn't do anything for me and would not help me to put the car on tracks. I had the whole journey inside the wash tracks with my car making noise in the wheel because It was grabbing the treadmill and when I went to talk to the manager the employees were laughing in the back. Took my wife's car here and paid for the plus package, Windows were not cleaned and cup holders, center console, and dash were not wiped out, still the exact same as when I brought it in. Would have been better off doing the job myself. Was my 1st and last time coming here. There are many better options in the area. This business does not care about your car or its customers. I have been a customer for many years. Today, after arriving home directly after car wash, I noticed that the entire driver's side of my car was covered with fine scratches. It was immediately obvious to me that a dirty rag was used to wipe down my car. The passengers side was fine, but there were two people wiping my car, one on the driver's side and one on the passenger side. So the employee wiping down the driver's side had a dirty rag. I called the car wash to ask what they would do, manager makes me drive 10 miles back, only to tell me "we didn't do that.". Manager was a complete jerk, did not offer a refund for car wash, nor did he offer a detail to buff scratches out. If you've ever wondered why this business does not accept credit cards, I assure you its so that you can't dispute the charge when they damage your vehicle!!! I was bringing my car here as it's brushless which was important to me. However, after giving it a go for an entire winter (only time I go to these car washes), I got fed up. The guys carelessly handle my new BMW and instead of drying it off they look at my wife and every other woman that comes through the place. Totally rude. My car comes out with spots and wet. Not worth it at all. I gave in and go to the car wash down the street by the CVS. Horrible car wash. Did not feel welcomed at all. Being a car dealer I had just purchased a used car which was very dirty. I brought it to the car wash and was quoted $80 for a detail. No problem. 3 hours later the owner calls and asks for $150. The car is dirty so no problem Again. I arrived (6 hours Later that's how long it took) and noticed the car didn't even receive an exterior wash. No problem Because My main concern was the interior. I open the car and The interior wasnt clean. Mud footprints still on the floor. Creases filled with dirt. What did I pay extra for? I specifically asked for a detail. But this wasn't my problem! i Politely told the owner there was mud foot prints at the bottom (which wasn't there when I brought it there) and his response was "take this dirty as* car and get the f*ck out my face motherfu*cker" I was completely caught off guard. I didn't understand what his frustration was. you told me $80 was too low and I didn't have a problem with paying $150 like you asked so why are you upset about the job? It's not like I begged this guy to clean my car for $80. I was willing to pay any price to get the job done However he was extremely rude. Business is business. When I brought the car for a quote he should have said he didn't want to do it. There are hundreds of car wash in Danbury i would have been fine. My mats hand sand, there was dust all over the dashboard. They also told me they put armor all on the tires; I watched my car the whole time and no one even touched the tires. This place works for us. Even though we have to travel 20 minutes to get there. I like the brushless factor, the price, the speed even when there's a long line. There are $3 off coupons floating around local stores if you can find them. I've been going here for years, The owner (or maybe manager) is always there and walks around ALL THE TIME - front, back of shop, inside, outside - to make sure everyone's doing it right, then pops back in to the register to collect your cash. (CASH ONLY btw.) He walks up to cars, points, mentions things to the workers, can't be fun for them but it's good quality control. Someone mentioned scratches, sure, a couple of times I saw interior scratches from maybe sand or soil on a reused rag and it made me mad but I'm not sure that can be avoided unless every car gets it's own rags or you wash your own car. Due to them not washing all the dirt off completely and using dirty towels to dry off the water they basically scratched all of the clear coat on my brand new black truck as well as a deep scratch near the bottom of my door were it looks like the bucket they use to ArmorAll tires was pushed into it. I brought my car here and they managed to leave it in gear on the tracks (it's a six-speed car), which, besides stalling the engine, also led to the car skipping along as the rollers tried to force it along until someone had the sense to put it into neutral (although the other three guys just stared at it with no idea what to do). They left dirt on the front mats, never wiped down the dash as it still had dust built up on it. The works includes Armour All but they must have watered it down as the tires didnt even shine. I just had my paint repaired due to a different car wash who had no clue what they were doing, and here I am with scratches all over my car again.
