As an owner of small silk hand knotted rug, I wanted to hang it on the wall. The gentleman (con artist?) there said he could do the job of knotting the fringe and securing a velcro strip from which to hang the rug. STUPIDLY, I acquiesced to what I thought was his expertise. The fringe was knotted so tight that it caused the rug to stretch and curl over on the end. When I asked him to loosen it, he said it would cost me and otherwise refused to fix it. The joke was on me - and I am out of pocket $225. I ended up undoing the work, seeing first hand what novice workmanship he was trying to pass off for an obscene amount of money. I then went down the street to Hatfields: Highly professional, knowledgeable, and super workmanship. Charged a very reasonable $75. I hope this helps you avoid the mistake of doing business with that Big Magic Rug shop.
