She insisted on including her entire team in the feedback session. We felt it would be more appropriate and comfortable to provide our feedback directly to her, with the understanding that she could then relay it to her team. During numerous email discussions, Kara made excuses for every issue we raised and essentially blamed us for the shortcomings of our wedding planner. Because of that, I cannot recommend Aloha Wedding Planning Services. Although Veronica, our planner, was lovely and personable, the service we received on our wedding day did not reflect a 5-star experience. Given that we paid $4,000, I expected much higher quality. If the cost had been lower, I can confidently say I would not have been as upset by the small details that didn't go perfectly.

Jacqueline was OUTSTANDING at every point in the process. She met with us a number of times over Zoom to plan our approach and ensured we had many options to choose from. The resulting wedding was absolutely beyond belief. The whole day felt like a dream. We both got to be so relaxed (as did our families and friends!) because Jacqueline was across every single little detail. Every recommendation Jacqueline made about the flowers, the venue, the photographers, etc. was absolutely spot on. We had a simple order for our wedding: a bridal bouquet, a men's lei, and some flower aisle petals…read more I like to pre-plan so I ordered and paid 6 months in advanced and received a receipt and email confirmation. So far so good. Fast forward to our wedding in November and I don't get a call or email confirmation, but I look on the website and everything is up and running. I have my parents go to the physical shop to pick up my flowers and lo and behold, THE SHOP IS CLOSED. Less than 5 before my wedding. The google, yelp and invoice number are all disconnected or not it. I had to use my sleuth skills to google this ladies name (thank god it was on the invoice: Renee Was the CFD back in May 2017 with Maui Wholesale Blooms, though the invoice is actually Floral Events Maui, but all the same person). So I'm calling while driving to our venue (from Oahu, wedding in Maui) and Renee answers. I nicely (though a little anxiously) tell her my parents are at the shop but it's closed. She says she's not there. I tell her um. My wedding is TODAY in a few hours so are you dropping my order off at the venue? She has zero recollection of my order in her books/computer, "there's no one by that name with an order today." "...but, I paid. My wedding is today. I have confirmation..." I'm fuming inside and my husband notices this and talks to her, giving her an invoice number and voila, it pulls up! I was just thinking if I hadn't brought the invoice, I'd be whizz outta luck because this lady doesn't record keep well. Anyway, long story short, she hand delivers our flowers (which were beautiful) in time with a consolation bouquet for our troubles and a lackluster apology. Yeah. Flower arrangement was nice but not worth the hassle. 1 star for that.

We are incredibly disappointed in the services we received from Brittany and her lack of communication during the wedding planning process. First, our reception decor--tent and seat drapery--was supposed to be the color of a dusty rose, as indicated by our vendor contract. However, on the wedding day, we noticed that none of the drapery was dusty rose, and the seat drapings were a bright red/fushcia blend. We spoke to Brittany Throne, a month before our wedding date to align on the decor details. Brittany confirmed that they would have enough dusty rose drapery as needed for our wedding. However, on the day of the wedding, we noticed that our drapery was three different colors, none of which were matching with each other (red, candy pink, and another variation of pink)--and none being a dusty rose except the table napkins. What is most disappointing is that my husband and I were not alerted in any way that the drapery colors would be different than what we signed the contract for. I noticed the drapery color mistakes as I was walking down the aisle. If Brittany had done the courtesy to alert us that the colors would be different once she received the shipment, we would have worked to find another solution before our wedding day. The mistakes also included the brown wooden bar, which was supposed to be white. She ended up providing a small discount on the drapery since she made the mistake. However, this doesn't fix the problem as our pictures and wedding video will always reflect the wedding drapery mistakes that Brittany failed to inform us of and work with us to resolve. Attached is a photo of the drapery from our wedding as none of the drapery reflects the dusty rose color as stated on our contract.
