What was not disclosed was that I also needed to have a bank account on file for autopay in order to avoid extra fees. A month later, I received an email saying I still had a balance because of this hidden requirement. This was never communicated upfront, and I only found out after being charged unnecessarily. I have never had an agent do this before. Now I have to spend my own time fixing something that should not have happened in the first place. While the agent said she can remove the fee, the lack of transparency and the hassle it has caused me is unacceptable. I had hoped to be a long-term customer, as I was with my American Family agent back in Minnesota, but after this experience I will be switching agents when my policy is up. Dan was not only able to save me money switching to Pemco, but he explained the benefits and coverage I had been receiving and made adjustments to my policy so I wasn't over paying for coverage I didn't need. However, dealing with them via email or telephone has been seamless and professional with additions or changes made to specific policies. Most recently, I am finally dealing with a windshield ding that became an extensive crack across the driver's side. I received a referral from my long time service advisor at a local car dealership. I called Tom Lusich's State Farm office, got the authorization based on my policy, all the logistics were dealt with, and my windshield replacement appointment was scheduled all within the same business day.
