Came in early Friday afternoon and was promptly seated after selecting my color. My nail tech was very gentle and took his time. Although, my nail tech was gentle and took his time the application around my cuticle is not the cleanest. I still see topcoat on my cuticle and skin. My hair sometimes get caught around the excess top coat around the cuticle area. Parking may be confusing if you do not know the area well. My sister and I booked a mani & pedi during their opening promo in May. It was just in time for a little pampering for mothers day. It was easy to book a service online and we arrived promptly on a Friday afternoon. If you're unfamiliar to the area, the salon is located in the Sugar Land Town Center. It's between State Fare and Japaneiros. There is garage parking and street parking. Just note, the center can get busy in the evening so arrive early to locate parking. When we arrived, it wasn't busy at all. The staff was very nice and helpful. We were assigned technicians for each service. We browsed their colors and various nail services. My sister went with shellac on both mani & pedi. I went with traditional nail polish on my mani and shellac on my pedi. We were seated next together and offered drinks of our choosing from their menu. I went with a soda and my sister for one of their lychee cocktails. For her, the cocktail got her buzzed that I had to drive home. LOL. Our nail techs were very nice and did a great job. They would ask if we liked the color, if the shape of nail was of to our liking, and if we wanted another coat. What I truly appreciated was they were NOT PUSHY at all. I had stopped going to getting my nails done due to the constant push to up-sale in services at other SL nail salons. I am very simple and don't want all the extra pampering or gel/acrylics etc [just my preference]. The nail techs here listened to what I liked, gave suggestions and once I made my decision, they didn't push the matter. We also have young kids of our own so we are always a rush to get back to them. So I do select services that don't take a long time. Again, just my preference and I appreciate their respect of my decision. 1 star knock off because I was cut a few times on my pedi that I did bleed. Probably my fault since I did let me cuticles over grow but I got 3 cuts. Kind of got swollen & irritated after but after putting some neosporin on my toes, all was well. Overall experience was great and we would return as our schedule permits. My shellac pedi is still going strong after 1.5months . No chips. My mani lasted a good 4 weeks, which was normal polish. read more

I've come here twice, each time has been fantastic. Free drinks during mani/pedi. My nails have lasted and looked fantastic every time. Christine did my nails this last time and I love them! Brian did my pedi and he was great, more gentle than most techs but still fantastic. They were so nice and patient with my 4 yr old. Saw a promotion for their soft opening on Facebook and decided to make this our first stop of our spa day. They have a wide variety of complementary beverages and a cute bar/waiting area. It is very clean and nice decorated. Plenty of tables and spa chairs. They have been open for a week and are still very short staffed. We had a short wait which was expected. I got the volcanic pedicure and my bf and his daughter got the hot stone. No issues with my pedicure. My treatments came in individually wrapped packages so that was nice but not sure if it's worth the price tag. But I did notice the inconsistencies in the treatments my bf and daughter received. I questioned a couple things that was skipped and the techs corrected it so make sure you know what your package entails! My only real complaint about the whole experience was that a party of two that came after us both had techs while we were still waiting for our last tech. Maybe I'm just sensitive today but I did not appreciate the response and reactions from the receptionist and other techs around us when I pointed out we've been waiting longer and seated first. It's whatever at this point. I may come back and try again but honestly there is nothing that really stands out except the discount for their soft opening. read more

I think they have potential, but just need some more training and education. It was just okay, my nail tech tried her hardest, but couldn't do a simple small flower. It kept looking more like polka dots because in the photo the dots were touching, but she was afraid to have any dots touch so it kept looking like a polka dot nail. My nails started to chip about a week after with shellac (probably because they did 4 coats ‍). They just need to train their staff more and work out some of the kinks. I had a great time getting a Mani Pedi with my mom. We both get dip manicure. My girl, Teresa was amazing and so helpful! She made sure I liked the shape and color of my nails, and when she saw the color I picked for my toes didn't match my nails, she helped me find a color that matched and told the lady doing my pedicure, who was also nice and helpful, that I needed to switch colors so it matched. My mom had a great pedicure also. With her manicures, she asked for something specific and when she told the original girl, the girl said she couldn't do it and got someone else who could do it. I RESPECT THIS A LOT!! I would rather someone be honest and make sure the nails were good than to do an average job and hate the nails. The original girl stayed and watched as the man did what my mom asked for so she could learn, which I also respected. When you ask for water they give you water infused with cucumber and oranges. I really enjoyed my time here and I enjoyed the ladies and men who work there. read more

After coming on Sunday to get my nails done with my sister, we were rushed to pick a color and the ladies doing our nails were absolutely so rude and spoke to each other - clearly about us in another language. 4 days later, 3 of my sisters nails fell off and the rest were so loose. She went back to get them fixed and got a pedicure (not expecting the pedicure to be free obviously) and she was charged full price for them to fix her nails and only given 15% off of the nails, even though the receipt and paper at the front say they have a 7 day guarantee!! He argued with my sister and told her "it's the best he can do" (he, being the manager of the salon, the same one who apologized profusely on Sunday for our bad experience). I wouldn't want anyone to come here and be scammed the way my sister was. Never ever coming again!!!!! read more

The place looks pretty and the people nice, but there was a live roach on the floor near my pedicure chair, and I had to kill it because the nail tech was too scared too. Also, I got dip powder on my nails, and 2 days later, the corner had broken off 3 different nails. I tried this place because it was new, and I had a gift card, but my dip nails usually last almost 3 weeks, so I doubt I will go back. read more

So disappointed with their customer service. Came in yesterday and asked for acrylic French tip with moon cut. The nail tech had only placed a tip and clear acrylic on top. I informed her I was not happy with them and she tried to hand paint the French tip which did not look any better. I informed the receptionist and she told me I could come back to get them redone. I go back and they are not willing to redo them like they said they would. She said the only way I could get a new set is if I paid for them with a discount . They didn't inform me that they did it have anyone to do my nails. They didn't tell me I would need to wait another rogue. They just said sorry I couldn't get it done. Honestly the nail techs at this location are amazing. Me, my mom, and my sister went. We all got manis and pedis. We had Lynn, Anna, Quinn, and Daniel, and I highly recommend all of them. However, I had a flat 30 percent off coupon that I got in the mail, and the lady at the front refused to apply it to our whole tab even though we were all paying together? It also said 30 percent off on all services so by definition it should include all of us, not only one person. It was not mentioned anywhere on the coupon that is for one person, but rather it said per household, and we are all from one household. Also, we were told a certain price for our nails from our techs before we started (we showed them the design), but the lady at the front refused to honor that price and was arguing with us that we should have asked the price at the the beginning. WHICH WE DID. Again, highly recommend the nail techs, but the treatment we got from the manager was not it at all. I have never had this experience anywhere else.
