How do you get an am appointment if you have a timed draw or fasting? Complete mess. No reception staff, their phlebotomists have to do everything. Not even a station with masks if you get there and the waiting room is packed. Hill's there must be another way.

I try to anticipate problems by double checking that doctors are in network, yet something ends up going wrong 50% of the time. Referrals are faxed, so you have to spend time figuring out which Hospital office received it before you can make an appointment. Hills physicians staff do NOT follow-up on any issues or appeals and it literally takes hours to figure out if the PCP, Hills Physicians, Cigna, or the Hospital is responsible for why you can't move ahead on a procedure or received a denial. Even though I am in an HMO, I spend hours each month coordinating my health care and fixing snafus for myself and spouse who are in good health. I cannot imagine what it would be like if one of us were really sick.

One thing that I wish I knew about was that we weren't supposed to wear deodorant and I just showered and did my normal routine. But luckily they do have castille soap wipes to get as much of it off but again, didn't want to have had to do it. First night after Ozempic shot I was very dizzy called the office and didn't even get a call back. I persevered for a month had bad digestive issues and only lost a pound a week 1/2 of which was muscle. Last appointment they recommended against giving me the Ozempic but offered no refund of the $75 I paid for it. They said the program wasn't working for me and suggested I try a personal trainer instead?? So now I am out $600 and only lost 3.5 pounds in a month. Plus I am left with digestive issues. What a great experience from start to finish (minus needing surgery, but you know what I mean). Everyone from the pre-op nurse who calmed my anxiety (whose name is escaping me), to Doctors Harris, Ochalek and Singh (and the rest of their surgery team) were amazing. The last thing I remember was having a nice conversation with Dr. Singh about the niners before gently waking up after surgery. They all really made the surgery as comfortable as it could possibly be. My post op experience was second to none. I had a wonderful recovery nurse who told me all about her kids (if anyone can verify her name, I'd appreciate it!) and then was moved up to a private room where Katie took over my care. She was the absolute best nurse I've ever had. She was attentive, kind and went out of her way to get anything I (or my partner) needed. She transferred care to our night nurse (who was great, but I was asleep most of the night), but promised to come check on us the next day when she got back into work. We really felt cared for and comfortable with Katie and thank her for the level of care she provided. If there's a way to recommend nurses, she'd be at the top of the list! Diane was our nurse the next morning, and she was awesome. We got super lucky with her because even though it was crazy busy that morning, she went out of her way to make sure we always had everything we needed. She was kind, attentive and we could tell she was running around trying to take care of 10 people at once (and doing a great job at it). We talked everything from travel to traffic and you definitely made the morning after surgery much more bearable. All in all, about the best experience I could have asked for. For the nurses whose name's I have forgotten, I'm sorry! I was out of it for a while with anesthesia, meds, etc. and there were a lot of you helping. You were all great and very much appreciated. I have been to Tresanti Surgical Center on several occasions, and each experience was a good one--well as good as can be expected, when they're shoving a--well you get the idea. On each occasion, the physician was Dr. F. Anderson Rowe. He's professional, friendly, and informative. Things have gone well on each occasion. After the procedure, the doctor gives you a summary of the findings. Then you make an appointment for more details. The highlight of my visit was wearing one of these funny blue costumes. Wearing these outfits is sort of a tradition--it must be taught by the professors at med school. They're functional, but not too outre (The outfits I mean, not the doctors.) You don't have to be seen in public wearing them. Only the nurses see you. After they wheel you into the operating room, the fun begins. You're laying down in the operating room and they put this oxygen mask on you. There's all these tubes and strange equipment hanging on the walls. I think some of the tubes go into your body. It's sort of like what you see at an oil change shop--but costs more. Plus at the oil change shop, hardly any of the tubes go into your body. I bet the same company makes the equipment for both businesses. As well as those blue costumes. Anyway, pretty soon they say, "Now take some deep breaths." This is a tradition throughout the medical industry. Anesthesiologists all over the world say that same phrase before every operation. Another thing they teach them at med school. I admit, it's possible that the order to "take a deep breath" was just a recording. I didn't really see anyone's lips moving. Next time I'm in there, I'm going to watch their lips. Just when they say, "Take a deep breath," the air begins to taste sort of funny. I'm pretty sure they put something into the oxygen. Next thing you know they're saying, "Hi, how are you feeling?" Yes, it really is that simple. I'm pretty sure I wrote this review during that "down time." During the crisis, they are extra careful. You first wait outside and phone them. Then a nurse comes out and checks you in. They're also careful to check your temperature and maintain social distancing. I appreciate the staff here being so careful with everyone. We all have to have those medical tests. This is a good place to have them done. I'm pretty sure they'll let you keep your cute little blue costume, if you ask them nicely. "Now, just take a deep breath and..."

From check in to recovery, you are cared for by highly skilled, very friendly staff. I asked for names so I can be specific in this review, but I've forgotten them (sleep deprivation is real)! From the nurse who expertly placed my line (not an easy task with me in general, much more difficult when I'm dehydrated) to the anesthesiologist who calmly explains what to expect and stays with you the whole time, to the (super) friendly surgical tech and staff in the surgery room who welcome you in and make sure of your comfort throughout, this experience is made so much better than it could be. I'm so grateful I've been able to have my last 2 procedures performed at Tresanti, as it is a dramatic improvement over the surgical center I used previously. To everyone there, thank you so much!

I just went in for my first Ocrevus infusion on Tuesday 8/11. I was a little worried about going to…read morean infusion site in a shopping mall, but the experience was overwhelmingly positive. The staff made me feel comfortable, cared for, and welcome. I was given my own private room with a reclining chair, a huge flat screen tv, and unlimited free snack and drinks. They kept a close eye on me and made sure I had everything I needed, and that I was feeling ok. They were all wearing masks, and the facility was really clean. When my appointment was over, they made the next appointment for me, and made sure to answer any questions I had. Infusions are usually never fun, but honestly I look forward to going back in the future!
