I even have one of their relay towers within 500 feet of my home, and in the beginning the service was decent. Over time, however, the connection slowed significantly. When I called customer service, they upgraded me at no extra cost, but only after I asked. I found it frustrating that they don't automatically extend available upgrades to loyal customers. Their policy seemed to be that you have to complain or ask before they offer improvements--even if your service is struggling. That didn't make sense to me from a customer service standpoint. In the past year, the issues have gotten worse. Video meetings often cut out or force me to turn off my camera because of poor connection speed. I've spent countless hours troubleshooting and calling customer support, but nothing has resolved the problem. I finally tested a new internet option and was shocked at the difference: four times the speed at half the cost. When I called to cancel Unwired, they didn't even try to keep me as a customer--they simply admitted their product wasn't the best available and let me go. My advice: Before signing up with Unwired, research other options. It doesn't take long to find better internet service at a much better price.

As to the Internet service I received from JMS I have never, in all my time with them, ever experienced any problems at all-- no downtime... no dropped connections... no throttling....nothing at all.... the service is spectacular and I sincerely doubt that anyone can find a better service than that which is offered by JMS Internet. I just found out that some how one of my Dish packages were changed and not by me and my monthly bill went up $53.00. This has been very frustrating as I can't afford the increase and can't talk to anyone. I was put on hold with a wait time of 218 minutes. That is unreal.

I've watched service tech's wait for up to an hour waiting for a "systems check" or other advice when trying to troubleshoot a service call. What could take 45 minutes, literally takes 5 hours. The service technicians need a direct phone line to technical support. If they did, field service calls would improve 90%. To watch a service tech wait for an hour, or more, is a horrific way to emphasize how BAD your company is. And stop making your service technician be "sales". Stop having them push DISH upgrades or services like drug dealers peddling drugs. Jeesh. Those service tech's cannot "push" a product while on hold for hours trying to fix another DISH product. The way DISH treats its own employees in the field, who are usually dealing with their customers face-to-face, is exactly the way they treat their customers; a nightmare.
