What followed looked less like retail and more like a live demonstration of how to violate California's consumer-protection laws: * Refusal to identify - The individual who later gave the name "Arturo [--]" withheld both full legal surname and employee ID when asked. Under Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §17500.3 a person representing a regulated service must disclose true identity on request. * Stonewalling class-wide complaints - Staff loudly claimed they are "not allowed" to discuss unresolved systemic issues. That is flatly inconsistent with Comcast's own escalation policy and may constitute unfair business practice under Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §17200. * Aggressive ejection of a paying customer - After the representative could not complete a transaction "a five-year-old could execute," he ordered me to leave, asserting he would "still be here three months from now," immune from consequences. That bravado collides with 47 C.F.R. §76.309 (c)(1)(ii), which obligates franchised-service agents to provide competent customer assistance. * Potential privacy red flags - Multiple prior patrons have alleged identity-verification shortcuts at this site. If true, that behavior implicates Cal. Civ. Code §1798.81.5 (data-security obligations) and Penal Code §530.5 (ID theft). Bottom line: this is not a company-run Xfinity store despite the signage. It is an independent dealer whose conduct now jeopardizes Comcast's brand and your personal data. I have issued preservation notices to Comcast, Rich Development (landlord), and the California Public Utilities Commission. Anyone with similar experiences may contact legal@ikigaisanctuary.org or (559) 461-9980 so counsel can aggregate evidence. Until this outlet can document remedial training, steer clear. The oxygen they consume could serve a more customer-centric establishment.

I even have one of their relay towers within 500 feet of my home, and in the beginning the service was decent. Over time, however, the connection slowed significantly. When I called customer service, they upgraded me at no extra cost, but only after I asked. I found it frustrating that they don't automatically extend available upgrades to loyal customers. Their policy seemed to be that you have to complain or ask before they offer improvements--even if your service is struggling. That didn't make sense to me from a customer service standpoint. In the past year, the issues have gotten worse. Video meetings often cut out or force me to turn off my camera because of poor connection speed. I've spent countless hours troubleshooting and calling customer support, but nothing has resolved the problem. I finally tested a new internet option and was shocked at the difference: four times the speed at half the cost. When I called to cancel Unwired, they didn't even try to keep me as a customer--they simply admitted their product wasn't the best available and let me go. My advice: Before signing up with Unwired, research other options. It doesn't take long to find better internet service at a much better price.

They do the same with internet speed which raises your monthly rates too. They bumped inet speed to 800 mbps from 300. There is no noticeable difference. They bumped up TV price w/o adding any improvements or channels. Some HD channels are not 1080p but are 720. In one month the monthly service went from $147 to $227! Called Xfinity for a lower price. Agent stated he could get me a promotional offer for $147.63 including 1 gbps speed. I asked if this was my original TV channels + the 1 gig for $147.63. He (Kyle) said yes. I turn on the TV 2 hrs later to find a ton of missing channels. Called Xfinity, the agent said I had 25 TV channels not 125. I asked reinstate everything to my original package. After a few minutes she stated everything was back to my original. Feeling suspicious I call 2 hrs later only to be told my inet speed was 1g with a bump in price. Cancelled all service in one week. Cleaned up the Xfinity cable mess behind the TV; no TV box, no cable internet box, and no cables for each box. Went to DirectV Streaming (dongle on TV) WiFi connected to MinterNet 5g WiFi gateway. All for under $130. Note: Not satellite, streaming as Direct is doing away the ugly dish. Everything comes thru the internet.

I logged into xfinity and clicked paynow, and the payment processed right away. After calling xfinity customer service and eventually asking for a supervisor: wait time over 2-hours. I'm still waiting for their billing department to explain why they couldn't process the payment as I did. Their customer service has become terrible. I asked Anthony the customer service rep was he in the states, but of course he was not. Perhaps I'll have to go into a store and request a district manager or write a letter to corporate. Piss pore services! Maybe I'll have to find another provider!

This past February 2026 it was $165, then my April bill arrives and it's $227! No explanation, no change in service, no upgrades just a giant jump in monthly service. I call Xfinity and spoke with Alex informing him I'm considering canceling my service unless my billing is adjusted lower. After his blah blah blah and round and round we go for 30 minutes he states he can lower it to $147.63 locked in for 5 years, including upping my WiFi speed to 1 GPS and no change in service. Cool, I agree and we part ways. Three hours later I flick on the TV to see I'm missing a bunch of channels. I call Xfinity and spoke with Yvette and after awhile she states I went from 125 channels down to 20-25 channels. Grrrr j aws tight moment. I ask to reinstate the 125 channels. She does and after 15 minutes said my monthly would be $220 and that's the best she could do. Ridiculous. And gave her an April 30th end of service. My money goes to streaming not to rip off Comcast/Xfinity.

One employee (blue hair, name Jean) looked right at me more than once and didn't say anything. I stood there for about five minutes waiting, while other customers came in after me and were greeted and helped right away. I finally had to speak up and ask if anyone was going to help me, and all I got was a quick "oh sorry, how can we help you?" like it wasn't a big deal. The whole staff seemed completely out of it--low energy, not paying attention, and just not interested in helping customers. When I said I wanted to buy an Apple Watch and asked how long the wait would be, I was told it might take a while because everyone needed to take lunch. That shouldn't be the customer's problem. I wasn't expecting anything special--just basic customer service like being acknowledged and helped in a reasonable amount of time. Instead, I felt ignored and unwelcome. I ended up leaving without buying anything, and I definitely won't be coming back or recommending this location.
